Overall, the tour was pretty good and while our guide did a solid job, I'm not entirely sure they added much to the tour than when I went solo years ago. River cruise was okay, but not necessary.

Itinerary
The scene of Britain’s most dramatic and fascinating history spanning over an impressive 1,000 years. Hear tales of imprisonment and execution; discover the famous Crown Jewels and learn about the wild animals that resided here for 600 years.
The first stop on our tour is an iconic symbol of London. Sir Christopher Wren's masterpiece took 35 years to build and today is one of the largest churches in the world. Incredibly, this towering domed cathedral was also the tallest building in London until the 1960s. Its construction between 1675-1710 was part of a rebuilding programme after the original cathedral located here was swept away in the Great Fire of London in 1666: With no fewer than seven chapels, countless statues and priceless art inside, as well as Europe's largest crypt, there are historical and religious treasures around every corner at St Paul's. Sir Christopher Wren: The Quest for Knowledge is a new special exhibition at St Paul’s Cathedral that explores the life and work of Christopher Wren through archive material and personal artefacts. The Exhibition investigates the genius of Wren and his ever-enquiring mind, highlighting his achievements.
From the Tower of London, hop aboard a Thames River Cruise to Westminster Pier.
Mansion House is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London. It is a Grade I listed building. It is used for some of the City of London's official functions, including two annual white tie dinners.
Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London, built between 1886 and 1894. The bridge crosses the River Thames close to the Tower of London and has become an iconic symbol of London.
The View from The Shard is a tourist attraction based in London's tallest building, The Shard. The attraction offers visitors views from the skyscraper, with two viewing platforms inside the building.

Our guide was terrific! She was punctual, entertaining and gave us plenty of time to see everything.
Plenty of walking. St. Paul’s was beautiful. That’s where Charles and Diana married. The Crown Jewels were amazing. I wish you could stay longer but they scoot you through on a conveyor belt. Our tour guide, David, was great!
After a morning of sightseeing on our own (Churchill War Rooms and Westminster Abbey), it was a nice break to be bussed to a part of town we hadn't been able to explore. Our guide, Sandra, was knowledgeable, fun, and easily engaged in conversation. We went to St. George's Cathedral and the Tower of London then boated back on the Thames to Westminster. Other than a brief but soaking thunderstorm, it was a lovely afternoon.
I absolutely loved seeng the crown jewels! They were beautiful! Not only were there jewels of all kinds , shapes and sizes , but golden swords, crowns, sabers, and a multitude of gold in every room! The experience was one I will never forget! My one regret is that pictures were not allowed!
Not worth the time or money. We booked 2 tickets, one of us was sick so only one could go. They could not refund the ticket money. My husband who went on the tour said they hardly explained anything in the tower of London. I have been on other tours and they were so informative. He mentioned that there was a loud family on the phone and the guide Stella was not very good nor was she informative. This is literally the first time I’ve booked something on trip advisor / Viator that didn’t turn out to be good. Don’t fall for the ratings, book a different tour.
I was 10-15 minutes late arriving and the tour left without me and viator won't give me a refund. HIghly disappointed and this is not a good way to do business.
Awesome London tour! Our guide Eileen was fun and informative. And she really knew her James Bond filming locations trivia!!!
This was my third trip to London and I enjoyed this trip the most.guide was very knowledgeable. Everything was on-time.
This tour was okay. The woman giving the tour was friendly enough, however, you could not hear her at times. Five years ago, I previously did the Tower of London and did a Beefeater tour, which was much more exciting and informative. The tour guidance of St. Paul's Cathedral was decent. However, this tour was lacking in the information that was given once you arrive at the tower.
Very enjoyable and interesting tour. The tour guide was excellent and very informative. The Tower of London has so much history and many treasures to see.
The tour was great. Both our driver and tour guide Shelia were great. She was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Would recommend.
Our tour guide was Sheila. We went to St. Paul's cathedral and the Tower of London. Sheila was so nice and funny and very informational! Would highly recommend and if possible request Sheila as your tour guide!
The tour guide, Sheila, was fantastic! She was very knowledgeable and very patient. We were here on a Sunday so we did not get a tour of Saint Paul's but we were able to get in and see it. We went to the Tower of London and that is where the bus left us. We went into the Tower and Sheila gave us an excellent description of the Tower and her favorite parts and then left us to explore on our own. The scenic boat ride of the Thames is a shuttle but the pilot gives a tour as you're traveling up the river. This did not feel like a good value for the money.
The tour guide was exceptional and very easy to understand and was helpful with a Spanish person who was booked on the English speaking tour and not a Spanish speaking tour.
Our guide Oliver was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Sharing insights on the tour of Buckingham Palace, St Paul's Cathedral and Tower of London. I highly recommend this tour and especially our guide Oliver. Who set a great pace and genuinely passionate about London and history! A shout out for our amazing driver as well. Thank you Oliver for a fun and informative day. ( September 14, 2023)
Parts of the tour were good, but the tour guide, David, pressed for a tip for about 15 minutes. The group was too large and it was difficult to find the guide at times because he said he could not use his flag.
Sheila had lots of great stories about the history of the sites. I learned so much! We had plenty of time to ask questions. Sheila also gave us suggestions for good restaurants nearby after we were done with our tour.
I enjoyed this tour immensely. I found the tour guide especially knowledgeable and personable. She gave us interesting information while driving to the destinations as well as when we were at the sites. I found the St. Paul Cathedral portion of particular interest. Lastly, just a word about the bus itself. It was clean, comfortable, and expertly driven by the driver. No small feat in the streets of London!
Even in the rain it was a great tour. Transportation was current and very clean. Bus driver polite and attentive. Tour guide was a hoot! Lots of knowledge with bits of information you would not have learned in any book. Coming off a transatlantic flight with little to no sleep a great way to see London!
Our tour guid David was fabulous! The Tower of London was incredible! The bus was comfortable and a great way to get around London. The company was very professional. Don’t hesitate to book this tour. However, don’t book this on a Sunday because you miss 1/2 the tour since you can’t go in to St Paul’s with the tour guide (which is definitely clearly noted on the viator website).
Great guide, good pace. Definitely worth the ease of seeing St. Paul’s, Tower of London and River Thames in one afternoon.
We started off delayed by 20 minutes or more due to traffic. Once we arrived at St Paul’s we had to rush through and there was not enough time to enjoy it properly. The tour guide was ok but seemed to be rushing us everywhere. She had a mic and we had headsets but we gave them back after St Paul’s. When we got to the Tower she guided us to the Crown Jewels but we could not hear anything she said. We were on our own from there which was fine. Was not worth the money. Would be better to buy your own tickets and navigate both St Paul’s and the Tower on your own which were both great places
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and we were so lucky to catch the parade rehearsal celebrating the King's birthday & the inspection of the guards at the tower of London. The tour is a must see & great experience. London has now become my favorite city!
St Paul cathedral was the best and the Crown Jewels at Tower of London A bit rush but nice I travel with my grown son and he was impress
Very good tour. Hit all the highlights. Just enough detail. The guide did a great job explaining all of the various sites.
Organized company that led the tour. Great guide but can’t remember his name. Perfect weather helped. No rain and temp in the high 60’s.
Tour Company called to tell us St. Paul's was closing early, which meant no city sightseeing tour for us. They offered to reschedule or refund our money, but that wasn't an option for us as places sell out and we had other things planned for our final two days in London. So we met the group at St. Pauls and were dropped off at the Tower of London. While I don't fault anyone for St. Paul's closing early and our departure date causing conflict, I don't feel like we got our money's worth at all, and we had to be flexible to meet at an alternate location and give up a tour of the city.
Godfrey was our guide and he never left us behind. Very well versed in history. We enjoyed his dry humor. God needs a promotion! And a raise!
Cathedral was closed. What guide spoke about was good…would have liked more information when driving and at sites about history.
The full day London tour by Evan Evan’s gave us a great overview of landmarks, history and people that shaped the London we know today. Our tour guide, Godfrey, was amazing getting us around the highlights, divulging lots of history, stories and anecdotes with lots of great humor throughout the day. Nice balance between walking and riding on the motor coach. If you are not here that long this is a good way to see things.
The sights were amazing. Especially St Peter’s church. The whole tour was great and made even better with our tour guide Godfrey. He was entertaining, funny, and most importantly knowledgeable!
Tour guide and driver were respectable. St Paul’s Cathedral was fantastic. However, the online tour info was misleading regarding the Crown Jewels/London Tour admission. If you want to see the Crown Jewels as a priority go directly to London Tower and get in the line.
It was a good tour. Just wish we would have had a little more time to explore. To tell the truth at this point, it's hard to remember all the things that we've seen.
The trip started with a bus tour in London with our tour guide narrating. Interesting facts abound. Then st Paul's cathedral with guide on radio is very impressive. Got drop off on the final leg at tower of london and thames boat ride for the finale. All in all a well Wirth trip and guide is great!
Great way to see St Paul’s and Tower. Our guide Sheila was personable and knowledgeable and very funny! There was no skipping the line to see the Crown Jewels and the wait was an hour or more, so we didn’t get to see them which was disappointing. Appreciate being able to use the River voucher at a later date.
Shirley was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. She knew a lot of the history of the Tower of London. We highly recommend this tour
Our tour guide, Deborah made our tour one of the key highlights of our London visit. We were traveling with six 14 year old girls, and she kept them laughing and listening attentively the entire time. Her commentary was entertaining and informative, and our group has been repeating some of her most memorable phrases over and over. She is certainly the best tour guide we have ever heard
Everything was on time, very informative, excellent guide; Sheila. The boat was an excellent excellent addition to the day!
Our guide Shelia was very knowledgeable , funny, and accommodating. Highly recommended her as your next guide. Bravo!
Our guide Shelia was fantastic. Enjoyed St. Paul's and the Tower of London. Seeing the lights from the river cruise was nice. The reason I only gave 4 stars is the drop off point. Even after the cruise it was a mile back to the starting location. The tours seem to think it's no problem but we were walking in the dark in a strange city. Very in convenient. You can get the tube or taxi back, but this adds additional cost to your outing.
Sheila was fantastic!!!! Had so much knowledge about all the areas we visited and those we passed through.
We arrived in London Heathrow at 9:15 am on September 28. The tour started at 1 pm and we were staying at a hotel near the airport. That day there was an accident in the tunnel leading to and from Heathrow and all buses were deadlocked. We tried to get a hotel hoppa, a taxi or an Uber but they were not running that day. We went to the central bus terminal and waited for 3 hours for the buses to start running. By the time we got to our hotel it was too late to make it to the tour, as traffic was backed up everywhere. We called the tour operator, Evan Evans Tours and tried to either cancel, or to take the same tour the following day. They refused to accommodate us, and said even if we went the next day, we would have to pay again! We were only in London for two days, so this was very disappointing. At some point we also called Viatour but they simply referred us back to Evan Evans. We paid over $200 for this tour, and the reason we could not make it was totally out of our control. The customer service we received from both Viatour and Evan Evans was very poor.
Even Evens is a first class tour company. We’ve had three ‘tours’. For this London Tour, our Guide was David and he was terrific, knowledgeable and witty. The bus is new and offers huge windows for unobstructed views as well as Wi-Fi and comfortable. Also, the audio headset works very well so you don’t need to crowd around the guide to hear. My only critique of this afternoon tour is that essentially it takes one from the Evens office to the Tower of London with a stop at Saint Paul’s. Mostly you’re exploring on your own at the Tower. So I’m my opinion the time at St Paul’s was too short, far to rushed to take it in. And since that was the primary part of being ‘guided’, I wish we had more time there. Once introduced to the Tower, which was very informative, entering is then on your own. So the total Tour time is less than expected and therefore more time at Paul’s would be nice. Overall a great tour and value.
I missed the beginning of my tour, but the staff was great in accommodating me still, they communicated with the tour guide so I can meet them at their next stop, Norma the tour guide was very pleasant, helped me out, knew so much and taught me a lot about Londons history, I would totally recommend this group to see London, I would recommend be prepared to spend a few hours at the Tower of London, there is more to see than the Crown Jewels but to gather a richer history of London just by visiting l the individual towers there, the cruise was fantastic, the cruise guide was informative and hilarious at the same time.
Very insightful tour at a comfortable pace, our guide Sheila was very knowledgeable and kept up an intriguing commentary throughout the journey.
Deborah (our tour guide) made the tour an unforgettable experience. She was significantly informed, deadly humorous, greatly energetic and very kind. We recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have a great London experience in a single day. Thank you Debbie!!
Our guide, Leslie, was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. St.Paul’s and the Tower are definitely highlights.
We loved this tour!!! It was fun and so informative. We were told so many interesting things just on our way to each exciting location. I could have just sat on the bus and listened all day. We were able to see the changing of the guards in the perfect area. Godfrey was amazing!!! He always knew just the right spots and loads of info on each stop. If you go on this tour ask for Godfrey! You will love it!
Overbooked tour, no seats for everyone people standing in the stairwell. The tour guide allowed people to save seats before boarding so that when general boarding happened there were hardly any seats available. The bus was not turned on and there was no air and it was clear that this was gonna be a completely disorganized trip. I got off of the bus because I wasn’t willing to be stuck in chaos all day.
