Zozo and Joanne took great care of us on our Cotswold tour today. We enjoyed the charming towns as well as the pleasant ride through the country. If only we had more time to spend in the area. The coach was comfortable, and Zozo was so knowledgeable. He made the history come alive with facts and stories we wouldn’t have learned on our own. I researched a lot of Cotswold tours on Viator and TripAdvisor before choosing this one. Our whole group was pleased with the choice, and I’ve been elected to choose our tours moving forward, lol. This was so much better than another day in the busy city!! 2 tips for potential travelers: We were able to book last-minute the night before (most tours didn’t allow that). And the lunch add-on was definitely worth it — tasty food, beautiful venue, and it was nice getting to know the others we traveled with for the day. 1 item of feedback for the tour planner: Would really love to see some of the thatched roof homes during the drive (or perhaps the coach was too large for those roads?) Such a delightful day!

Itinerary
Our full-day tour begins in the charming town of Burford, often called the ‘gateway to the Cotswolds’. Its beautiful high street is lined with buildings made from every shade of Cotswold stone. You'll have time to explore the local tea rooms, browse unique shops, and soak up the historic atmosphere.
Next, we visit Bibury – often called the 'Prettiest village in the Cotswolds', a title given by designer William Morris. Set along the clear waters of the River Coln, Bibury is full of postcard-perfect charm. We’ll enjoy a short walking tour through the village before arriving at the Swan Hotel, a lovely place to relax and take in the view.
Arlington Row is Bibury’s most famous and beloved spot, with its charming honey-colored cottages dating back to the 14th century. Once home to weavers, this iconic row is one of the most photographed places in the whole of Cotswolds.
We’ll enjoy a traditional lunch at the charming Swan Hotel, a historic Cotswold coaching inn once used to rest travelers and horses. Enjoy a delicious two-course meal, with a selection of local ales and fine wines available. (Lunch included if option selected.)
Our last stop is Stow-on-the-Wold, a historic market town perched high on a hill at 800 feet, where ancient trade routes once crossed. Today, its picturesque streets are lined with antique shops, independent boutiques, and cosy cafés. You’ll have free time to explore, do a bit of shopping, or relax with a cup of traditional English tea before we head back to London.

Zozo was a fantastic guide, trip was very nice, picturesque, lunch quality was poor.
I had a really amazing time. Joanne drove the coach and a very good driver and really nice and friendly. Zozo our tour guide was phenomenal. I was blown away by the wealth of history knowledge he has and from the start of the trip to the end he was very engaging, interactive and really funny and it made the trip really exciting. I was so inspired that im going to start reading more of British history. Meetup, pickup and drop-off was easy a d prompt. We had enough time to enjoy tge guided tour round the different villages in cotswold, take pictures and wander round. Thank you Zozo and Joanne.
Enjoyed our day trip to the Cotswolds. Guide Zozo was knowledgeable and witty. The towns were charming. Lunch was tasty. Driver Joanne navigated the small roads well. Wear comfortable shoes.
Our tour guide, Zozo was trally great and knowledgeable. He gave us so much information on the history of the area. And he was funny. The lunch was very good. This tour was definitly worth the time and money. Definitly recommend!
The most memorable part are beatiful villages, churches and the fine lunch in a elegant hotel.
An amazing tour to some very beautiful villages in the Cotswold’s. Our tour guide Zozo was truly amazing, providing a wealth of knowledge from the time we left Victoria Coach Station, all through the Cotswold & back to Victoria Station. Our bus driver Joanne was also very helpful. Highly recommend this tour for the day.
I went on Sunday Oct 25. James was our tour guide and was exceptional. Gave us so much history and information. He was so funny too! Sylvis was our driver and did an excellent job. Well worth the money.
Excellent experience with James and Silvius. Would highly recommend. Everything ran smoothly. James was very knowledgeable and ensured everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you both.
They have to be sure that they are gonna visit what the itinerary includes… Please do not eat Please do not believe anything about ale beer or wine…
The scenery was beautiful. The visit to three towns was interesting. To my group, The time spent in the villages seemed too long (we are not shoppers) and we would have liked to see more countryside.
Disappointed. It’s impossible to get a resolution to any booking issues with this tour provider. When you try to call, no one picks up the phone. All communication is online.
James was fantastic! The itinerary was absolutely fault and the food really bad, but James (the guide) was really good 😊
Great tour with plenty of free time to explore at our own pace! The Cotswolds has a wonderful atmosphere and beautiful towns filled with cute shops. Plus, our tour guide was very informative and gave excellent advice.
Good tour. James was a great tour guide and Sylvius was a good driver. The tour i feel is a bit on the expensive side even without the food option. But overall good. James is very knowledgable and his humor hits the right notes.
Organised and experienced guide. Ride was also smooth throughout the journey.
Silvius and James were great. James was entertaining and remarkably patient with some difficult fellow travellers. Tour gave me all I wanted with plenty of time at all stops.
It was so much fun walking around the towns , James our guide was so much fun and our driver Sylvias our driver was always punctual
James our guide has been lovely the entire tour and funny as well!! It has been a delight and was not boring at all. Our driver Silvius is also really prompt with the pickups👍🏻 Highly recommend!
James, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Our bus driver, Silvious was punctual, safe, and gave us a smooth ride.
James provide great guide. Greatly appreciated!
I thought the tour was just ok. We could have done this tour on our own as there wasn’t really anything special. The pictures on the website do not look like the homes in real life. I was disappointed.
Jane and Christian were great!
We had a wonderful day exploring the Cotswolds, and a huge part of that was thanks to our guide James and our driver Christian.
Despite the gloomy weather, it was a good and fun tour with James and Christian.
Good guidance and coaching, fair price
Our tour guide James was excellent! Very knowledgeable guide and shared much relevant information with us. Thank you James. Sorry, I don't remember the name of our driver. Safe impressive driving!
Guide was informative but the included lunch was just OK. Would recommend skipping the lunch. The country side is beautiful!
We had a fantastic time with Rowan and Carlos as they took us all over the Cotswolds. Rowan was an incredibly helpful and kind host, would take the tour with them again 100%!
Rowan was a wonderful guide. It was fun learning a little history without being boring. The tour was spaced out between villages just right. We had more than enough time to walk around and shop. The food was okay, although I would have preferred something more British. Carlos was also a very good driver and we felt safe in his hands. I would highly recommend this tour.
What a great day trip! Everything was well organized, the three villages we visited were charming and memorable. Our guide Rowan was excellent - she offered history and anecdotes along the way and at each stop suggested places to see. Highly recommended as a unique day out.
Rowan & Carlos were the best!!! Seriously so fun to go on the tour with them. Loved Rowan’s story telling ability. Easy to get around, great recommendations, and good with timing.
I definitely recommend this tour! It was straightforward and the highlight of our England trip. I wish we had gotten to spend more time in Bibury though. Our tour guide (Peter) and bus driver (Christian) were wonderful and took very good care of our entire group.

James, our tour guide, was absolutely fantastic and attentive throughout the entire trip. His explanations were clear, informative, and delivered with a personal touch of humour that I absolutely loved. I would definitely book another tour with him without hesitation. Florian, our bus driver, made us feel completely safe and relaxed throughout the journey. They both deserve top marks for their outstanding work. A perfect 10 out of 10!
James and Florian were great! Very kind and informative guide and wonderful driver. Considerate of those who were behind schedule and made sure everyone was taken care of
James and the driver Florian were superb! James was very knowledgeable and funny. Florian was a great driver. Lunch was delicious!
James and Floran were amazing!
The Cotswolds are a magical throwback to an idealized Western village where everyone knows everyone else. The tight-knit community preserves the treasures of the past, the homes, the shops, the pubs. Like an immersive Disney-engineered experience, but this one was real. We visited Three different villages with easy, centralized drop-offs. Our Guide Eva with supreme dexterity prepared us, provided perspective and background for each unique village, and if that was not enough, she held the camera that recorded our joyful moments. Robert was such a deft driver that it was easy to forget we were underway. As we met new friends, Robert rapidly minimized a traffic jam delay and conserved the time for our enjoyment. The oldest pub in England. The green glory of the English countryside. The intimate tiny cities with their unique characters. The sheep! And all of it confidently and hilariously handled by Eva. Are you still reading? For goodness’ sake, just go and do it!
Fabulous day with Eva and Robert! Lunch was excellent! Ask for Eva!
Great way to see the Cotswolds! Well paced, our guide, Eva was excellent, very informative and entertaining! Carlos R our driver got us into some tight spots safely! Our lunch at the Swan was excellent! A full day, but worth every penny!
My partner and I joined the Cotswolds day tour with lunch included last week, and our guide, Eva, along with our driver, Carlos, made it a truly wonderful day out. Eva used to be a teacher, and it really showed in the best way possible. She shared fascinating background stories and folklore about the places we visited, giving us such an engaging perspective on our surroundings. She wore a striking red trench coat on the day and looked just like Superwoman—spotting her in the crowd was instantly reassuring! Lunch was held at a lovely, upscale restaurant. My partner opted for the fish and chips, which came with a remarkably generous, fresh, and flavourful fillet. I had the ravioli, and it was equally delicious. Throughout the day, Eva was exceptionally warm, making an effort to chat with everyone and kindly offering to take photos for us outside the church. We absolutely loved her and genuinely hope to join another of her tours in the future.
We had an amazing tour guide and a very experienced driver. The Cotswolds were lovely with charming little towns. We ate a delicious lunch, visited churches and markets. All in all, it was a delightful day.
Guided by James and Floren. Just the places are not as beautiful as expected but the lunch is nice.
It was a wonderful trip with James and Florian to Cotswald. It has been a Smooth ride, punctual and James cracked some good funny jokes through the way :D
