This tour was excellent and gave a good insight into the area. Our driver, Zaw, was wondetful even though the road was blocked he remained calm and took us via a different route. Wei was informative and lovely to all of her customers. I would highly recommend this tour conducted by Zaw and Wei. Thankyou for a great day.

Driver Luan and Guide Morton were outstanding. The bus was clean and comfortable. Lunch was delicious. Informative tour of an amazing area. Five stars plus value.
Rob was a wonderful driver and guide. Got us to each place so we could maximize our time
A great day out in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed the beautiful countryside with an excellent commentary by an informed guide. The coach was top class, modern, clean and expertly driven by our experienced, friendly driver. We visited and walked through 3 Cotswolds villages, all delightful but slightly different. Those of us who purchased the luncheon option met at a typical English pub for a yummy lunch together. An excellent day out. Well done as usual Golden Tours!
The tour was enjoyable from start to finish. Well organised and kept to schedule. Mario, the driver and Oliver, the guide were very friendly. Oliver was very entertaining and knowledgeable. A great day out.
Tour guide was James and driver was Carlos. They made the trip fun and lively. Ample time to visit the locations. Main food was delicious.
The tour itself on August 19th was okay; we enjoyed the sights, but unfortunately the tour guide and another employee ruined the day for us. He was rude, unhelpful, refused to let anyone who hadn't paid extra sit anywhere near the front of the bus. When we booked the tour, there was no option to "book" a front seat, as since my wife easily gets vertigo, we would've happily done that. The When I asked the tour guide about sitting on the front seat, he said "that's my seat", although he only used it for his small backpack for the entire day and sat in the very front (by the driver) tour guide's spot. That being said, another south asian manager (don't know his name) from the company, along with his wife and young child, did sit on the front seats of the bus for the tour. Their child was constantly talking (while the tour guide was giving information) and generally being disruptive to the point that both we and several other paying guests had to ask them to try to get their child to quiet down so we could hear the information being provided. That manager didn't seem to care at all about the experience of the paying guests, as he and his wife continued to allow their young child to be disruptive. I've been on numerous bus tours in quite a few countries and unfortunately this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. There's lots of companies that do tours similar to this; I'd suggest booking with anyone but Golden Tours.
Our guide Eileen was exceptionally friendly and very well informed. We enjoyed her conversations. Our driver,Virol was also very friendly and professional. We recommend taking Cotswold tour with them.
I had the most memorable day trip to the Cotswolds with Kelvin and Mo. I came with my dad today as a late birthday present. More than the gift itself, what I really wanted was to spend quality time together, experience something new and create a memory that we could both take away from the day. Kelvin’s energy struck me straight away. From the moment I got on the bus, I just knew I was going to have a good day. Kelvin and Mo made a great team, and you would never have guessed that this was their very first group tour. Kelvin brought his energy throughout the day, and I really appreciated how open and transparent he was with us. Towards the end of our day together, I reminded Kelvin of why the job he does is so special. The beauty of the day was that it wasn’t just a tour. It was a group of different families, ages and individuals, all like minded people who share a love for exploring new places. We came from India, Australia, the UK, Canada, the USA, Mexico, all different corners of the world. Some of us may stay, while others will move on, but for that one day, we connected. We shared stories, laughter, experiences and a little piece of our lives with people we may never have met otherwise. And that is the beauty of travelling. Sometimes you arrive somewhere expecting to see a new place, but you leave having experienced something much more meaningful. Kelvin made that happen. His energy was infectious, and we all got infected. Kelvin was the conductor, and we were the orchestra. He created the rhythm, but we all played our part. That is what made the day so special. It reminded me that sometimes the best experiences in life are not about where you go, but about the people you meet along the way and the connections you create, even if they are only for a day. Some people will continue on their journey, some will stay, and some we may never see again. But for one day, we were all part of the same story. And perhaps that is when travelling becomes more than just travelling. It becomes about the memories we create, the people we meet and the moments we share. You never really know what impact one day can have, or what memory someone might carry with them long after the journey ends. Today, Kelvin and Mo gave us more than a tour of the Cotswolds. They created the space for strangers from different corners of the world to become a group, even if only for a few hours. That is the magic of travelling. And today, we were lucky enough to experience it.
Amazing, informative, and super lively guide, plenty of time to sightseeing never felt rushed. Our driver Mo and our stupendous guide Kelvin (hope I spelt correctly) were a brilliant team, their first tour to Cotswolds and was like they had done it forever! Made our day such fun and personable. Great fellow passengers too!
Our guide, Danxia, & our driver, Ashley, were welcoming as well as fun. Ashley was terrific at driving & keeping us safe. Danxia was knowledgeable with a witty engaging approach explaining the Colswolds’ history. My family & I loved the entire experience & highly recommend Golden Tours.
Excellent experience guide was brilliant and driver was very good
I went to the Cotswolds on Wednesday with Golden Tours and had a wonderful experience. We visited the beautiful villages of Burford, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Bourton-on-the-Water. The scenery was absolutely stunning — I truly felt like I was inside a fairy tale. In Bourton-on-the-Water, I had a lovely meal at The Old New Inn, which made the day even more special. The guide, the driver, and the whole group were very kind and friendly. The villages are charming, peaceful, and full of character, and the local people were lovely as well. I only wish I could have spent more time exploring the places slowly and enjoying the atmosphere even more. I highly recommend visiting the Cotswolds to everyone. It is such a beautiful and unforgettable place.
Last Friday I had the great pleasure of joining the Golden Tours guided trip around the Cotswolds, and it was an absolutely lovely experience from start to finish. When we arrived at Victoria Station, we were greeted by our wonderful tour guide Amanda and our coach driver Ashley. Check in was quick and easy, and we left Victoria right on time at 8:30am. After making our way through London traffic, about two hours later we reached our first stop: Burford — a charming, picture perfect village where we had almost an hour to explore. Our next stop was Stow on the Wold, followed by the final destination of the day: the beautiful Bourton on the Water. Here we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Old New Inn, and even had time to visit the Model Village and wander around the town. Throughout the entire journey, Amanda shared fascinating stories about the area, English history, and the Royal Family. She was attentive, joyful, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel safe and well looked after. Ashley drove smoothly and confidently, adding to the relaxed atmosphere of the day. It truly was a delightful experience. Thank you, Amanda and Ashley — you are both fantastic! Anna
James and Maj are good for the guiding service. If I came back to Cotswold again, I hope to meet them again. Thank you! - Yen Jen from Taiwan
Anna, our tour guide and Reese, our driver, who are associated with Evan Evans Tours made our day trip to London’s countryside fun, scenically, beautiful, relaxing and educational. We’ve traveled to London several times, but this was our first time to travel into the countryside and wow, it worth it. So much history and natural beauty, not to mention quaint shops and yummy eateries. Thank you Anna and Reese for a great day in the countryside!
Eileen and charles, the bus driver were outstanding, Eileen very informative and knowledgeable about our whole trip. She is a keeper, Thank you Eileen for a very wonderful day .
Found this at the last minute and booked and it was absolutely worth it, our guide Peter Rabbit and Armando were fantastic and incredibly nice and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend
Nice to see the English countryside. The lunch was quite good, large portion. Quite a few people on our tour did not seem to aware of the 15 minute walk from the bus into the village at our last stop. I knew of it before hand, but maybe it was not described so well in the tour description.
Golden Tours was the provider for this tour and I would not book a tour that used them in the future. They canceled our tour 2 days before and gave us an option to switch to another tour or get a refund. Where this was an all day tour and we had already planned for it in our schedule, we chose the replacement tour that they offered. This new tour added on Bath and still allowed us to see some of the Cotswolds. When we arrived to the bus station to get the tour, they were very disorganized. They didn’t know what bus we were taking and their staff seemed uninformed. The bus itself was not the cleanest. Trays weren’t wiped down and the trash was full before we even started our journey. The tour itself was not the best itinerary because Bath is in one direction and the Cotswolds is in another. Both the driver and tour guide said the tour should really be to one or the other location- Bath or The Cotswolds but not both in the same tour. The amount of driving really limited the time we had to spend in each place. With that being said, Michael our driver and Eileen our guide were very good. Buford, the last stop, was 40 minutes and almost all of the stores were closed or closing when we arrived. I think The Cotswolds are worth exploring for sure but not with this itinerary and not in this timeframe.
Amazing trip , highly recommended even for kids. Well organised tour, super friendly guide and great place. Bus was comfortable but no Wi-fi, Temperature adjusted easily upon request.
Very good tour of the Cotswolds and afternoon at Belheim Palace. Would like to have had more time at each stop .Our tour guide was a bit much with all her sales pitches .
We went to the beautiful Cotswolds with Golden tours and Sandra was our guide. We loved the Tour thoroughly, and Sandra was extremely nice and funny. She made each and every destination in the trip memorable.
Armando and Oliver were great! So helpful. Lots of knowledge and cultural bits. ❤️ Had so much fun! I just wish we had more time in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Kiran was a great driver and Paulie was a fabulous guide. Very engaging and entertaining. The cotswolds were mesmerising. I would say a must do.
A lovely time was had by my friend and myself on this visit to the Cotswolds. Our guide, Eva, was beyond wonderful in every way. She was so very informative, while showing all her great sense of humor at every turn along the way. Eva even took the time to go through directions back to our accommodations with every person on the bus, while on our drive back to London. The weather wasn't perfect, but even that was made comfortable with Eva. Our driver, Sonny (sp) was fantastic too, maneuvering through the towns and interacting with our large group. I would gladly take a trip with either or both of these wonderful people again!
Trip was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, per the tour director. Very disappointed in communication with tour company and Viator.
Nicholas and Carlos were great! Nicholas was very sarcastic and funny. He was SO personable and knowledgeable. He truly made it a a great experience. He went out of his way to ensure we knew what to expect and went out of his way to ensure we learned a lot and enjoyed ourselves! Nicholas ran into us the following day when we were on a different tour. He recognized us and came to say hi! It was so nice and it added to our great day! We would love to tour with Nicholas again in the future!! Carlos got us safe and sound from place to place and did a great job!
The Tour Guide, Oliver was excellent and so was the driver, who must forgive me for I forgot how to spell your name, Lbirel. Hopefully Oliver would help me out? They make a great team and made the trip a lot more enjoyable.
The trip was fun and not not hectic. The guide ( Danxia) was fun with loads of good knowledge and humor.. the driver ( ashley) was also very fine and methodolical. Truly loved the day out
We had a very enjoyable trip to the Cotswolds. It was a lovely day made even better by Regina and Viorel, who were friendly, informative and helpful. Travelling in a small group was definitely a plus as was such nice guide and driver.
We had a wonderful experience when we visited the Cotswold with our tour guide Regina and driver Viorel. Highly recommended.
Excellent Oscar and. Henry. Everything very orderly
Tour operated in English Our Guide Oliver and driver, Zoo skno took great care of us giving us the right directions to enjoy the villages visited. The time available at the different stops was sufficient in my opinion. Great experience
