Peter knows London, Roman history, music back stories, famous and non-famous individuals that made a historical mark. I will definitely book Peter again on my next visit to London.

Peter is the BEST! This was the second visit to London that we have toured with him. He is prompt, knowledgeable and flexible, depending on your interests. We can't wait to go back to London to tour with him again. My daughter is in a wheelchair and the ability to just roll into Peter's cab is a blessing.

What a lucky find for us. Peter was such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide, bringing us to all sorts of great sites, both the famous and the offbeat. He customized the itinerary to us on the fly as he learned more about us through the day. This tour was the difference between a Good London trip and a Great London trip. London can be tough for the mobility impaired, but Peter made it so that my mother's wheelchair wasn't even an issue.

While it reflects we chose Classic London Tour, every single tour with Peter is bespoke. He can’t help it. He loves history & personally connecting it for people so much that the second he learns any detail about you or your interests, he will weave that into your route. I wish we could clone him to be all our kids’ history & social studies teachers! But unless they let daily field trips for all classes, we’d lose half the effect. His knowledge of everything in every building & around every corner or alleyway - and which short-cut or reroute to take - is of no use standing still all day in a classroom. It was truly an amazing experience to go through centuries of history in under a square half-mile: from standing in a Roman amphitheater to viewing the to-scale vision for London in 2050 - & even catching the fictional Harry Potter version of London in between. That’s not to say we only toured a square half-mile. We covered so much London! We looked at British history, music, banking, wars, art, and then those ties to so many other continents & cultures thousands of years in both directions… It was a whirlwind of a tour, so we were grateful to be provided links to deeper dives into all the places we stopped. Which we immediately began enjoying on the long flight home. We plan to bring our daughter back the second she complains about any boring history class…because with Peter there is no such thing - it is all connected & we are all connected. ❤️ Do yourself the favor & schedule it. This cab driver was incredible. He met us, found out our innterests and custom tailored magnificent tour based on our specific requests. He educated and entertained with perfect balance. He explored and exposed sites and history that were fascinating, engaging and entertaining. Truly the best!

Peter did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable. The only issue I had was the website said that entry into places would be included but our guide said we had to pay to go into the attractions

Peter who was our guide made our day spent together a welcoming experience as if we were all family and worked to engage us and connect with each of us, including Peter making a TIkTok with my daughters. Peter is passionate and so knowledgeable about the information provided as well as took photos of us along the way and sent all to us for the memories of this tour with him. Peter then followed up with sending all the different articles about the information discussed along the tour.

We are so happy we booked with Peter! He was so knowledgeable and kind. He showed us so many unique and unusual areas that not just the normal tour guide would show you! He even got us a reservation at the Mayflower which was such an amazing experience with delicious food! If you want to fit an action packed day in and see as much of London as you can in one day, Peter is the tour guide for you!

Peter is a knowledgeable, energetic, passionate guide and driver. He is a wealth of knowledge of London and world history with quite a sense of humor. He is a boxer and fitness trainer so he will go as hard as want to go on the tour. He tailors the tour to your interests and ability to move about. We drove and also walked a lot to see many beyond the usual London sights. He has provided us with photos and links to so many articles and books about what we saw that will keep us studying all winter!

Our tour with Peter was exceptional! We spent six hours with him seeing so many unique and extraordinary sites! His witty sense of humor and narration throughout the tour kept us thoroughly engaged! Peter is fantastic. His historical knowledge is incomparable. Peter goes above and beyond to make the tour personalized, then he follows up with interesting facts for you afterwards. While in London prepare to be flexible with your tour for uncontrollable events. Construction, street closures, protest, union strikes can affect tours so be prepared to park the cab and walk or take the tube. We had a rail strike which made traffic unbearable. While Peter did everything to make his way around it, in the end it just wasn’t efficient, so we set off on foot.

What a tour!!! Peter is an AMAZING tour guide who brought so much fun to learning the history of London! He was extremely personable and loved relating different aspects of London, to our personal interest (celebrities, professions, etc). I would HIGHLY recommend my man Peter!!!

AMAZING AND ONE OF A KIND TOUR! My family and I had a wonderful tour with our guide Peter. Peter was filled with immense knowledge on the history of London, the best coffee in town, and the best picture spots. We expressed interests and careers in the cab with Peter such as Adele and speech therapy. He then proceeded to drive us to Adele’s recording studio and the former King’s speech therapist’s office. Peter has extensive knowledge of the city and enjoys relating this knowledge to your interests. Book with him! You will not be disappointed!

Peter is simply THE BEST! The London rock and roll history was amazing, Mayflower Restaurant was a wonderful experience and the churches and other historical sites very moving. Peter’s passion for history is contagious Would give him 150 stars!

Wow! How often, if ever, do you come away from a tour where you anxiously want to send family and friends on a tour with the same guide? Peter is a gem. There are “scripted” tours and then there are “Peter’s tours.” Peter is so great at assessing what it is that really interests you and then prepares a tour that just opens your eyes to London’s history and how it impacts your own history. Also, Peter’s tours are a living event, he’s constantly checking on your reactions and suggesting changes to the itinerary to meet your changing interests during the day. I swear, within a couple of hours into the tour Peter seems to be an integral part of your own party. You just feel he’s embraced you. He cares about everyone in the party. Peter is so good that after our first day with Peter we called him up and booked a second day leaving the itinerary up to him. Peter knows London History beyond any guide book. His own life story is fascinating. At the end of the tour he provides tens of photographs he took during the tour and later sends you historical links so you can read more fascinating detail. No need to to take selfies on Peter’s tours. Peter is a great London Cabbie…a great driver delivering a smooth ride in an impeccable Black London Cab. So comfortable and roomy. It easily can carry 6 adults

Peter Mulcahy was an excellent guide. we did the classic tour adjusted to our interests Abby Road was really good. lots of pictures. we also did a tour of Soho for musical history. that was really interesting. Peter keeps you moving so its not a slow walk. highly recommend Black Taxi and Peter

Peter is an extraordinary guide. He is so personable. You quickly realize he is all about making this an experience you will treasure and is a unique signature item that is all his and never to be duplicated. His enthusiasm for London, it’s history and its people is infectious. On a personal level Peter embraced all four of us and took us seriously that this was a day for our 19 year old granddaughter. He focused on her and taking us places that would be memorable for her…she requires a wheelchair and Peter pushed her everywhere we went, clearly he has knowledge of someone bound to a wheelchair and amazed us how he could move her so smoothly and safely through a bustling city environment. We loved the experience so much we’ve booked another tour with Peter.

I had an amazing day me with my family discovering classic bits of London and learning the interesting history behind it. It is really a cool and different way of learning about the city, seeing new places and be engaged throughout the tour. Given my italian background, I was also amazed to learn some of the really interesting linkages between London and famous historical figures like Mazzini and Garibaldi. The person leading it is very knowledgeable and you can see he has a passion for it. Highly recommended. Fun and interesting.

Peter was amazing. His knowledge and enthusiasm was incredible. This was such an interesting tour - we got to see all the main attractions, but with interesting features not picked up by the main tours being highlighted. We even received lots of follow up information about each of the attractions. We can’t recommend this tour highly enough!

We had a day to spend while traveling to other countries and decided to do the driving tour of London. Unfortunately there was a 100km bike ride and most of the streets were shut down. Our guide Peter Mulcahy was great. He had to adjust the tour to more of a walking tour which worked out great. Highly recommend Peter.

You cannot go wrong having him whizz you around London, his knowledge of the city and its history is second to none. I can not say enough about how much my mother and I loved the Black Cab Classic London Tour with Peter Mulcahy. Peter is so knowledgeable and passionate about London’s history and people. He was so thoughtful to include a personal visit to the studio of violin maker Gareth Ballard, a special touch that meant the world to us as music lovers. Peter has a great sense of humor, he made us laugh to tears during our whirlwind four hour tour of hundreds upon hundreds of years of history. My wife, 2 small children and I had the best time touring London with Peter, he is an amazing human with an incredible knowledge of London and world history and how it relates to London, I highly recommend taking a tour with him and amazing for kids, they will learn (adults too) more history in 1 day than in 5 years of school.
