Millions of viewers have watched Jeremy Clarkson wrestle with weather, bureaucracy and a stubborn patch of Oxfordshire soil. On this private full-day excursion, you'll see where it all happens, and discover the wider Cotswolds along the way. Your local driver-guide collects you from your London hotel and takes you out of the city and into some of the loveliest countryside in England, the honey-stoned corner of the Cotswolds where Jeremy put down roots.
Your first stop is Diddly Squat Farm, the working farm at the heart of the series. You'll take in the view across the fields and, if you wish, browse the farm shop, though its fame means queues can be long. From there you continue to the village of Chadlington, where the show's success brought crowds, traffic and some strong feelings. Your guide will tell the story of what happens when a television farm shop meets a small English village, and you'll see the sports club where Jeremy sat down with residents who were less than delighted by the attention.
The route then winds on through the quaint village of Churchill to Kingham for a leisurely lunch at a country pub (at your own expense), a chance to sample proper British pub food. Afterwards you'll stop at Daylesford Farm Shop, often said to have inspired Jeremy's own venture.
Next comes Hawkstone, the microbrewery Jeremy established with the Cotswold Brew Co, where you can learn about the lager made from local barley. The journey continues through some of the region's most celebrated villages, including Bourton-on-the-Water and Burford, before arriving at The Farmer's Dog, Jeremy's pub. You'll have around an hour to explore, so you can pull up a seat for a pint, wander the on-site shops, or simply enjoy the views.
By the time you return to London, you’ll have been well and truly immersed in the world of Clarkson’s Farm and invigorated by charming Cotswolds countryside.
Please note that the Farmer’s Dog pub itself can be extremely busy, so entry cannot be guaranteed, but your guide will adapt as needed and can point you to the other corners of the complex, including The Farmer's Puppy, The Farmer's Dough, The Farmer's Grill, and the Grand Tour Tent, home to the Hops & Chops butchers and bottle shop and a larger merchandise shop with a better selection than the one at the farm.
