Our tour guide, Lee, provided a wonderful tour of the shops in Mayfair that Churchill frequented. I especially loved viewing the seamstresses in the basement level of the custom clothing shops. We visited a variety of shops, clothing, hat, cheese, cigars, etc. and learned quite a bit about Winston Churchill prior to arriving at the Churchill War Rooms exhibit. Lee was a great storyteller and made our experience stellar. He helped us get checked in and helped us get our audio guides at the exhibit before his departure. The War Rooms were extremely crowded on the day we toured but we still enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this tour.

Lee was an excellent guide. Extremely knowledgeable about all of the sights and landmarks. Even gave us recommendations for after the tour for lunch and additional sights.
We wanted a good introduction to London on the day of our arrival and this tour did not disappoint. We weren’t even particularly interested in Churchill, but we ended up loving the history. Matt was an excellent guide who seemed genuinely passionate about the topic. And the war rooms were a surprisingly interesting bonus. We only had six people on the tour, which made it very easy to get around and talk to our guide. Highly recommend.
This tour was excellent. Matt, our guide was very knowledgeable. He provided us with detailed background of all the tour sites and especially Churchill and the war rooms.
Our guide Lee was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about London history as well as Churchill. It was a very informative and pleasant experience.
Jeremy was a mine of information with a great sense of humour. He was very engaging. The Churchill War Rooms are extremely interesting and well-presented. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.
Lee was the best. So kind and knowledgeable. He added so many little details about Churchill's life that were so Interesting.
Matt was great. He was very knowledgeable about the walking part of the tour.. It ended at the Churchill in World War II Westminster war rooms. That is a self guided tour so he left us at the end of the walking tour, which was explained when we booked it. He was right on time. It was truly a spectacular tour and very educational. Singer I’m saving them for you. The crowd size was small. There were only five so you were able to hear everything he was saying.
Lee gave a very thorough and entertaining tour of the Westminster/Parliament area of London. His knowledge and friendliness made the tour worthwhile in terms of time and money. Highly recommended.
Lee was delightful. Knowledgeable and affable, Lee shared so many interesting details about Londoners’ history and experiences during WWII. Lee also shared wonderful stories about Churchill. He tailored the tour perfectly to the needs and interests of our group of 3 (two adults and one HS aged teenager). We loved it!
Moderate walk. Stops along the way. Starts at the British War Memorial which is fascinating. Continues toward Big Ben and Parliament and on to the Churchill War Rooms. Our guide Marnie was wonderful!
This tour was packed with Churchill/WWII history and our family of four loved it! I was a little nervous to see if my 11 and 8 year olds would like it, but it was a hit for the whole family! Our guide, Pepe, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable, personable, and gladly answered all of my 8 year old’s questions! :) This tour was just our family and the tour guide which was a nice, intimate experience. The war rooms were cool but we actually enjoyed the walking tour leading up to the war rooms even more.
We had Lee as our guide and he tailored the tour perfectly around our interests, questions and events of the day. It was a real joy to learn about the history and have a change of the mounted guards in the mix. Would strongly recommend!
Alex was a tremendous tour guide! He painted us a really great image of the World War II era in London! He showed us in detail really cool monuments in the city then gave us some excellent tips for the Churchill War Rooms! Highly recommend!!!
Fantastic tour!!!! Lee was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions. Lee is a pleasure to talk too thank you very much.
We all know Churchhill as a wartime hero, but to visit fav cigar, hat & shoemaker’s shops is to learn about his more private side & about a bit of London history too. Alex was excellent at drawing us into his daily life & habits, paralleled with the history of the neighborhood not to mention wartime London. Highly recommend this tour as an appetizer to the more serious War Rooms.
Our guide, Judd, was very knowledgeable and informative. We enjoyed our tour and would highly recommend it.
The tour was fantastic and really interesting. Becs was an excellent tour guide. So knowledgeable. My grandson enjoyed it too. He's into history and politics.
Enjoyed our tour with Beth. A nice small group of us had a wander round a very busy Westminster but we managed to find quiter spots to have an interesting talk and learnt some interesting stories about Winston Churchill. Not too much walking and well worth doing!
Great tour to learn more about Winston Churchill, World War II & London history. Our guide, Beth was brilliant. She kept my 11 & 13 year old engaged the whole time.
Excellent tour . Really enjoyed the way the guide asked before we started how many of us were fans of Churchill , and shaped the tour accordingly . The quote “ No more champagne “ should be more widely used .
The explanations of the plaques was so interesting! The guide had great stories to connect. Would highly recommend this tour!
Pleasant guide (accompanied by her assumed partner), the tour was more general in nature than was expected. Not a great deal of captivating facts, and was a bit disappointed by the lack of focus on the man himself (Churchill). If you have high expectations (as I did) then they need to be tempered.
The tour was very informative, and we are very glad we booked it! We learned a lot. Also, if you are interesting in going to the War Rooms, I would recommend booking it about a week in advance. If not, you would have to wait about an hour to see if you could go in.
A VERY ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE! ROSIE OUR GUIDE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND INTERESTING AT THE SAME TIME. WE ALL LEARNT FROM THE TRIP. SAW SOME GREAT SIGHTS AND GOT SOME GOOD PHOTOS. THE WALK ITSELF WASNT TOO FAR, ROUND SOME VERY BUSY POINTS, BUT VERY MANAGEABLE.
Rosie led the tour and was fantastic, very knowledgeable with the right level of humour. She's an absolute gem! I didn't know what to expect the tour but it was very informative and gave a great insight. I could have wandered around London with Rosie giving me historical details all day. I highly recommend this tour.
Great tour, very knowledgeable informative tour guide, neat historical photos and stories, highly recommended
We were a small group which made it fun and easy to enjoy our walking tour. Our tour guide was Rosie and she was “Lovely”. Very knowledgeable, easy to understand and witty.
Good value for money. Tour guide Rozie was lovely. Friendly and knowledgeable about the subject. Even as someone who grew up and went to school in this country I learned facts I didn’t know. I’ve looked up other walking tours offered for my next trip to London.
Our tour guide Pepe (Daniel) of Fun London Tours was awesome. His knowledge of the history of London, England and Churchill was very impressive! He encouraged questions and actually exceeded the 1.5-hour tour as his enthusiasm to impart his knowledge was not dampened by time constraints.
Great guide. He gave lots of details and was very engaging. Loved it! We walk by many landmarks, all of which he explained in detail.
Excellent tour! Not only did I learn about WWII but also how the British are still learning today about the involvement of woman’s roles during the war. Our tour guide was fun and answered many questions happily!
We had three days in London and wanted to see the War Rooms. I went on line and saw a tour by Fun London Tours on the morning of June 6th, and booked a 2:00 pm tour for 40 GB for that day since we were leaving the next morning. I tried to save the confirmation to my Apple wallet, but it wouldn't save. We arrived at the Westminster Underground Station Exit 2 at the top of the stairs at the Victoria Embankment as directed when we booked the tour. We arrived at 1:40 (ahead of the 1:50 time in our instructions), but no tour guide showed up. We called the company, but got an answering machine that said they were closed. We left at 2:20 since the guide did not show up. A terribly disappointing experience. I would not trust this company for any such guide service in the future.
Amber gave us lots of great insights to Churchill and the area around Westminster. Plus she can sing and dance too.
We had Marni all to ourselves, and how lucky we were! She was highly knowledgeable, totally fun, and clearly focused on our getting the most out of the tour, which we definitely did. Thank you, Marni!!!
We had a wonderful and intimate tour with Marnie as our personal guide—just me and my son with her for several hours. Highly informative and tailored to what we wanted to see. Wonderful way to learn about British government and Churchills passionate leadership so late in life! I travel to England often for business and never have a chance to explore or be a real tourist, so it was really fun. She clowned me with a story about Churchills statue—I had to Google it to find out it was a joke ;)
Marni was great. Very interesting talk and she was a lot of fun to hang out with. Would certainly be happy to do another tour with her.
Guide was great, very informative and gave a lot of information that isn't all in the history books. My son got a lot out of it and did a school paper on the experience it was so good. A great introduction.
Tour guide, Amber, brought the history alive. Already had knowledge of events but Amber made it interesting and fun. I am so glad I made the trip. Would recommend, her singing was great.
Excellent guide with lots of stories and songs! Even with rain pouring down she kept our attention. She was animated, charming and engaging.
We really liked this tour in central London as something different. We are interested in WWII history and this was a unique way to get information. Amber was an excellent tour guide and very engaging!
Very interesting visit with Amber who guided us through the Westminster area switching from WWII to British history in a pleasant tempo
The tour guide was great! He was so knowlegeable and eloquent. He also adapted to our interests and needs. He was punctual and very professional!
Lovely way to start our first trip to London. The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. He asked what we were interested in the most and geared the tour to focus on those aspects. I really liked having a native tell me what I was looking at! Pictures are great, but having the stories behind the famous landmarks made it more meaningful I think! Thank you, we had a great time!!
This was an excellent tour. Rozie was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. There was not a huge amount of walking but covered what was necessary to hear about Churchill. Would definitely recommend.
