Our driver waited for us for over an hour at Heathrow because it took a very long time for my mother, who used a wheelchair, to get through customs.

The driver was a half hour late picking us up with no explanation or apology. We were driven from our hotel in London to Southampton He tried to drop us off at the wrong hotel and we had to give him directions to the correct one. He was not a good highway driver, erratic speeds from fast to slow, swerving from side to side almost side swiping other vehicles. His city driving was ok. We would recommend a motorway test drive with this driver before assigning him to another highway transport.

The driver did the best he could with the situation he was given. We requested a vehicle for 8 travelers and luggage . They sent him with a minivan. It was way too small. He was great informing me it was not my fault. He was kind and considerate of our situation.

Much easier than trying to navigate the trains with luggage on a rainy day. The price is a bit high for the service, though.

Need to be very clear when making the reservations the number of suitcases you’ll have. We had five people and five suitcases but when the driver arrived, 39 minutes late, he told us he only had room for three suitcases.

Our driver picked us up at our hotel and was about 10 minutes late due to traffic, but it wasn't an issue. We still got to the cruise port in the time we expected. The ride was very comfortable and all of our luggage fit in the trunk. Overall, the experience was non-eventful and timely, everything you want for a transfer from central London to a cruise port!

Our driver was excellent! He was on time and although he couldn't pick us up in front of our hotel due to bus lanes, he parked around the corner and came to get us and helped with our luggage. The vehicle was definitely comfortable for 4 and the 4 pieces of luggage. He dropped us off at the cruise port on time. We would definitely use them again!

Our driver Mr Harris arrived at our hotel on time, was very friendly and professional. He loaded all our luggage carefully, and assured our comfort. He pointed out points of interest, and shared some of the culture when I asked questions. He navigated the roads expertly and arrived at the port with plenty of time to spare. Booked many weeks before arrival and driver never showed and when I called was the first I learned that they didn’t have a driver and it would Be 40 minutes late. No one bothered to tell me and I had to call to inquire. And their WhatsApp didn’t work so it was an international call. They were in no way apologetic but they did refund me.

I wanted to share we had a GREAT experience with the Viator Southampton terminal transfer from London (booked from any London address). I booked a xl van for the 4 of us and luggage, and we got a limo-bus. The driver was great, and it took about 90 mins from Heathrow airport’s Holiday Inn hotel. I booked for 8:30 pickup - they called to confirm arrival time and were prompt. We arrived at the terminal a little after 10. Smooth - and easy! We didn’t have the hustle and bustle rush/squeeze with cruise line transfers and would 100% use it again! Feel free to share with other clients. Grand total for 4 people was $377.

There is a lot of traffic getting out of London as well as the remainder of the trip to Southampton. Allow plenty of extra time to arrive on time

Ordered an 8 person vehicle and received a 6 person vehicle. The subcontractor Viator selected did not even have 8 persons vehicles in their fleet.

We travel several times a year and transportation to and from cruise ships is always a need. Finding transportation from central London to the cruise port in Southampton was not the easiest due to the relatively high number of choices available. We were looking for affordable private transportation for two adults and a lot of luggage but didn't want to pay an outrageous amount. The burden of shopping around was tiring. I eventually got ahold of this company and was so glad I did. I started with some emailed questions that they answered quickly. They didn't try to upsell me to a bigger more comfortable vehicle considering all the luggage, which impressed me, so I upgraded on my own. Our driver was right on time picking us up. I mean within 60 seconds of the scheduled pick up time, and this time was moved by us to 30 minutes earlier with their permission just the day before. The vehicle was like new and the driver helped us load and unload our luggage. He shared a few thoughts with us along the way and was very polite and respectful while still being funny nd enjoyable. We used the same company after our cruise to our Heathrow hotel, although a different driver but same exceptional service. We highly recommend them.

Great transfer. Our driver, Viloletta, was excellent, on time and drove safely. She gets 5 stars! The 4 star rating is for Viator’s explanation, or lack thereof, when it comes to the actual size of bags that can fit in any given vehicle. We chose an “executive saloon” vehicle which stated it could take three passengers with three pieces of luggage. There were only two of us and we had one large check in bag, one medium check in bag, one overhead piece of soft sided luggage without wheels and one bag that easily fit under an airline seat. Had we actually been 3 passengers, this vehicle would have been too small. When I tried to check with Viator on the size of the bags via their online chat I was simply told that if I thought my bags may not fit, I should order the next size up vehicle. If we had been using two of the large check in bags, rather than a large and a medium, the vehicle would have been too small. I’m not really sure how that vehicle could have qualified for 3 passengers with three bags unless all three bags were carry ons. Viator needs to do better. They use so many different contractors it’s hard to keep them all straight.

Excellent. Disembarked at Southampton early. Admin lady was able to help us with a car earlier than the original booking. Driver was helpful and courteous. Very professional. Would recommend service to family and friends.
