This was a great small group tour, only 4 people, our tour guide Patrick knew just the right place to wait to see the changing of the guard up close. He was also very knowledgeable about the area and the sights to see as well as well versed on where things were to see after our tour.
Moderate walking to the British is not the same to Americans. It was a lot of walking. Too much if you are over 60. But our guide was wonderful about it. The tower was good but again after I did all that walking I was too tired. We then walked uphill to get the tube and that station was closed. Roberto was gabulous
The tour was great and tour guide Oatrick was fantastic but we did not see the changing of the guard which is the main reason we booked this tour. The changing of guard was cancelled for the day we went and would not have been a great viewing anyway due to our location when we arrived in the area. Should have done the changing of the guard on our own. Otherwise the tour guide was attentive and very informative and especially nice since there were only four of us.
Our tour guide Patrick was absolutely fabulous. He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and funny. He was able to answer any question we threw at him, kept the tour at a steady pace, and was able to give us tips and recommendations for the remainder of our trip. I do wish the tour would have been a bit cheaper, especially given that we had to take the tube to get to the Tower of London (aka: an extra cost on top of the tour.)
We had the pleasure of spending 4 hours with our tour guide Nicholas who showed us around the area. Nicholas is very knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions and made many suggestions of things to do and offered transportation suggestions.

Got there in time but no guides knew who we were supposed to be going with. We walked around and spoke to every single guide and not one had us on their list nor knew who we were meant to be with. Feels like a scam. Waste of time and money.

Unfortunately due to the heat the activities at Buckingham palace were canceled. We should have had the opportunity to cancel. Tour guide Pamela was excellent though and made the best of it.

Even on a typical rain...clear....rain...clear...etc. day Philip led a remarkable tour. We got to see the Changing of the King's guard up close! He guided us through the London Tube perfectly even during a Tube strike to the London Tower(s!!)
There is a lot of walking in this tour but not is it worth it! What a great view of changing of the guard and our guide Mike perfectly set us up with the stories of the monarchy we needed to view the crown jewels. Highly recommend, Mike was the BEST.

Buckingham Palace is only open to the public certain times of the year It would have been useful to know that!
Tour packed several stops into a relatively short time. MIke, our tour guide, provided a lot of information and could answer every question, no matter how random or relevant, with ease. Also provided interesting tidbits and was quite personable. The best tour guide I’ve had!
It was absolutely horrible. You totally lied about the tickets when I booked it. It said it was a Buckingham Palace tour the guard and London Tower when I got there was Buckingham Palace was closed. It doesn’t even open until July and it was a walking for a complete walking tour it never said that in the description it never said Buckingham Palace was closed. It said we would go into Buckingham Palace. It showed pictures of the inside of Buckingham Palace so you’d totally ripped me off. I’m calling my bank to dispute the charges. I spent $179 each on the tickets and I’m going to dispute the charge and if you don’t give me my money back, I will file it with my attorney fault advertisement, and you lie. I went back to my voucher nowhere does it say Buckingham Palace is closed nowhere so I expect my money back but I will be calling my bank to tell them what happened You totally fully misrepresented the package

It was not clear from my booking that we would not see the changing of the guards(we went on a Thursday.) Additionally the meeting place was unclear and there was much confusion on where to meet our guide. This is not the first time TripAdvisor’s meeting point was unclear. It was an enjoyable tour, guide was informative, but not worth what we paid.
Mike was a fabulous guide. It’s a very long tour with lots and lots of walking. So if you can’t go for four hours walking, this is not the tour for you.

Phillip was fantastic. He positioned the group to see the Sunday Flag ceremony with ease of video/photo opportunities. His knowledge was incredible and he helped the navigate the tube with ease. Highly recommend!
I was sent two separate locations to meet the guide. We called Viator to tell them no one was there. We tried to get with the guide prior to them arriving at BP but that didn’t happen. This was the booking most important to us. We were not offered a refund. We were told we were late which was untrue.

This was one of the worst tours I have ever been on in my life. I have travelled a good amount and been on many tours, but this was truly abysmal. First the itinerary that was included stated we had access to Westminster Abbey included in the price, we didn’t so much as even get an explanation as to what it was and didn’t even see it from the outside let alone the inside as was promised. Additionally, the first 2 hours were just walking from 1 end of Green park to the other, and back again to see the Sunday Parade start and finish. Again this was not what was included in the itinerary. The tour guide had no clue what she was talking about or doing nearly the entire 4 hours she was with the group. I would give this tour negative stars if I could it was that bad. I feel like I was lied to, cheated, and scammed, something you may expect in the streets of London, but definitely not on Viator. We stood around waiting for something to happen for nearly 2 hours while watching the horses and parade, and the tour guide said she wasn’t even sure anything was going to happen in the first place. Moreover, the other 2 hours were spent solely walking from one side of the park to that other back and forth 2 times, and then the tube ride to the Tower of London, where the tour guide could not find the group’s tickets for 15 minutes until she handed me her phone and I was easily able to access them. I’m not entirely sure what I paid for with this tour as I could have done this for FREE except Tower of London admission which would have been nominal compared to the exorbitant price I paid for this horrible tour.
Mike was the best guide! Patient, informative and friendly. You can tell how much he loves his job and interacting with people. This tour is a great way to get a lot in over a short period of time. Long enough but not so long you’ll get bored. My teen tolerated it well and had fun.
Great way to see a glimpse of London’s top sights! Bring your walking shoes! Mike was a fantastic tour guide.
What a great day we had visiting Buckingham Palace, saw the parade and then went to the Tower of London. Our tour guide was Mike and we could have spent all day with him. So welcoming and knowledgeable. We lucked out and had a small group; only 4 people. We have 3 more tours booked with Viator and hope they are as good as Mike.
Our guide, Mike, was great. He walked us to all the tourist spots and gave our group excellent information. My “complaint” is the price. This tour is listed price starting in the $120.00’, once you book, goes into the $170.00’s. Quite overpriced for a walking tour that didn’t even include the price of tickets for the underground.

Anna was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was disappointed that we did not see any event at Buckingham Palace as listed on the itinerary. We only got as close as across the street from the Buckingham gates. The tower or London tour is self guided and at your own pace. It’s an expensive tour to not include the changing of the guards experience.
