Malkeet and all his Uber colleagues are amazing
Norman was very helpful during our stop at Greenwich
We found this the best way to get further afield both during the day and at night. We had always used the tube on previous visits to London but found the boat gave us a better ways to get to a lot of area's, also with the darker nights it gives a different view with the lights on the buildings. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had.
Good for getting to locations along the river but not for any sightseeing. Boat is enclosed and unable to see any landmarks when sitting inside. There is a small area at the outside rear of the boat but not great views !
Great service. Staff work super hard. Pre-booked our tickets in advance. They can then be used from your phone’s wallet. Staff were all friendly and helpful - they defo work VERY hard! Boats were busy and it’s advisable to plan your ‘sailings’ to miss some of the busier times. We had good views of all that we wanted to see, even got to experience the ‘sports mode!’ Food and drinks were averagely priced (for London). My only two gripes; signage/timetable could be better and our last trip back from Greenwich was quite rough. I don’t think this was due to tide/current but more due to rushing. Would absolutely use the service again in the future.
Norman was a star! Give him a salary rise😂
Tried the Uber Boat for the first time today and honestly… such a hidden gem. The station is literally right outside my place in Royal Wharf, and I took it all the way to Tower Bridge, the whole experience just felt effortless. It’s such a peaceful alternative to the usual London commute. No crowded tubes, just sitting back, enjoying the views along the Thames. It actually made the journey feel like part of the day, not just something to get through. Super convenient, clean, and on time. Definitely doing this more often, especially when I want a commute that doesn’t drain me.
I recently bought the 2 Day London Hop On Hop Off River Thames Sightseeing Pass by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, and it ended up being one of the most enjoyable ways I found to get around the city. The biggest highlight is easily the perspective you get from the river. Seeing landmarks like Tower Bridge and London Eye from the water feels completely different compared to walking or taking the Tube. The views are genuinely beautiful throughout the journey, especially if you manage to grab a spot on the outdoor deck. The flexibility is another strong point. Having unlimited rides for 48 hours makes it really convenient to explore at your own pace. You can hop on and off at different piers without stressing too much about timing, which worked perfectly for visiting places like Greenwich and moving between central spots without dealing with crowded underground trains. The boats themselves are modern, clean, and comfortable. There is a good mix of indoor seating, which is useful when the weather is not great, and outdoor space if you want to enjoy the views. There is also a small café onboard, which is a nice touch for grabbing a coffee during the ride. That said, there are a few downsides. At peak times, the boats can get quite busy, and finding a good seat, especially outside, is not always easy. I also noticed that the schedule is not always perfectly reliable, so it is not the best option if you are in a rush or trying to stick to a very tight itinerary. Another thing to keep in mind is that this is more of a transport experience than a guided tour. There is no commentary, so if you are expecting explanations about the landmarks, you might feel like something is missing. In terms of value, it makes sense if you use it several times over the two days. If you only take a couple of rides, it can feel a bit expensive compared to other transport options in London. Overall, I would definitely recommend it for the experience and the views. It is a relaxed and scenic way to see the city, even with a few minor inconveniences.
It was very good , we experienced something crazy as London on boat hots totally different. Loved it and you should add this in your list
Our server David Notarius was an excellent host, very knowledgeable, the tour was amazing as well
David Notarius is the best ever. Give him a raise!
Parminder from Uber Boats was such a great host! She helped me find the right pier and made sure I got on the right boat. I also noticed how helpful she was with other customers-making sure everyone knew where to go and got on the right ride. Really appreciated her kindness and professionalism.
Parminder has been a great support at the canary wharf station. Enjoyed the ride and service ! Great views and great service
Great assistance, Parminder helped us navigate our way! Helpful and cheerful , helped us on our way and told us which boat we needed.
Very good afternoon very friendly man named Norman helped us. Big man nice man good Text Text Text Text Text Text Text Text
We got the family ticket for the 5 of us for the 2 days....brilliant way to get in and out of the city and way better than the tube!
Completely unreliable. Never runs to timetable. We bought a 2 day hop on hop off pass, and it was a huge waste of money for the couple of trips we managed to do. There is often no space on the boats and then when you do get a boat with space, the crew are told to put it out of service for 30 minutes and you are all told to get off. They clearly prioritise profit, over service and reliability!!
We used it primarily for transport to and from East London. First thing in the morning, they were running 25 minutes late. Our midday trip to Greenwhich was fine. But our return trip we waited in line over an hour and a half for a boat. Will take a taxi/bus/rail if I ever go back
Boats were never on time according to App Missed our stop Queensland going east and going west We checked with staff about stopping and they went by our stop
Promote Norman. Give him more money!!! Without Norman it would be boring!! Norman makes it exciting. Pleeeeeeaaaaasssseeee
This was me and my wife's 1st things we did in London. Absolutely one of the most amazing day trips I've ever had. I'd also like to share my appreciation for Allan and Dave on the Uber Boats dock by the HMS Belfast. I lost my wallet at some point on one of the boats. Allan and Dave went above and beyond to help me get it back. I cannot thank those 2 enough. Dave, if I meet Bruce Dickenson, I'll let him know Dave from the book store said hello. Everyone we met that day working for Uber Boats was amazing. These 2 gentlemen will always stand out to me for helping a freaked out foreigner calm down and find his wallet.
Don't bother booking other boat trips this the best value. As far as we know it goes further (both ways) on the river & is cheaper as well. We also believe it to be the only boat that goes through the Thames Barrier but can not be 100% sure about that. On top of the great value the staff are friendly. helpful & hard working. The boats are comfortable & easily accessible. The views of many of the sights along the banks of the Thames are stunning & in our opinion can not be bettered from a land viewing point. Another advantage is on some journeys the boats get you there quicker than the bus or tube especially at busy times of the day. So overall very good value for money & a very enjoyable 2 days on the river we would not hesitate to do it again the next time we are in London.
Great way to get around London without having to deal with the traffic. The crew was amazing with the efficiency of disembarking and embarking passengers. All information and instructions was clearly given.
Norman was very helpful, a pleasant boat experience as always. Good vibes and a smooth boat ride to Greenland. The weather was perfect and complimented the journey well.
Amazing stuff really helpful and made sure to get some more information. Great help very good a making sure we had update
We need more Norman’s in this world. I’m not even on the boat yet and I’m giving 5 stars because Norman’s customer service deserves nothing less
