Fantastic place to stay in London. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was outstanding every single morning. They also had excellent coffee machines, and being able to fill a to-go cup before heading out for the day was such a nice touch. The location was perfect for sightseeing. I could walk to many of the places I wanted to visit, yet the hotel felt pleasantly removed from the busiest parts of the city. It was quiet and relaxing to return to after a full day exploring. The surrounding neighborhood was also remarkably clean and comfortable. I honestly could not have picked a better place to stay during my London trip. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

The location of the hotel is excellent, with bus stops just around the corner and two Tube stations within walking distance. The breakfast was very good, and the breakfast area was always clean and never felt too crowded or hectic. The beds were also very comfortable. One aspect that could be improved was the lighting concept in the room. The bathroom light could only be switched on together with the main room light, which meant my travel companion was woken up when I got ready in the morning. The room was also quite dark overall, and there were not enough places to hang towels and wet jackets at the same time. Despite these minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this hotel again.
I wish it were a 5-star review, but while we undeniably enjoyed our stay there, there were some issues that made me wonder whether we're really at a 4-star hotel. One thing that is worth highlighting straight away is the hotel's 5-star staff. Anyone we encountered during our stay was remarkably kind and helpful, always trying to stay ahead of our needs. Every single member of the staff, be it housekeeping, front desk or breakfast buffet staff, was amazing. Special thanks are due to Vanjay (I hope I spelled his name right!!) for making us feel welcome every single time we arrived at the hotel. On a positive note, the beds are exceptionally comfortable and the hotel is well soundproofed, offering a good nights sleep. It is located within walking distance to the Pimlico station, the Parliament and Big Ben, making it a perfect place to stay when you want to be close to the landmarks but in a quieter place. There are a few stores (Sainsbury's, Tesco) nearby to shop for the essentials. The view extending from the gym and the elevator hall is nothing but stunning. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of typical European breakfast items; gluten-free options are available in a separate space (there's even a separate toaster available). Warm options include scrambled eggs, a variety of bacon/sausages, potatoes/hash browns, oatmeal and pancakes/waffles. Now, moving on to less amazing stuff. The double room layout is... interesting to say the least. While the living room/bedroom arrangement is okay and accommodates two people quite comfortably, the bathroom situation is where it gets really complicated. I was aware that there was no separate bathroom, but the shower, sink, and toilet being all in separate places made it unnecessary complicated. If you value privacy, be aware that the toilet door is made of glass and does not shut completely, leaving a significant gap between the door and the wall (you can easily see what's going on inside, not to mention hearing everything). The entire layout makes it difficult to bathe without having to close the bedroom door entirely. There are no complimentary bottled cosmetics (everything comes in squeeze bottles), bathrobes, slippers, not even bottled water available for hotel guests. Umbrellas are available... for rent. All in all, the stay was a good experience, but not really something I would expect from a 4-star hotel.
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It’s in a great location, just a short walk from Pimlico station and very close to Tate Britain, making it an excellent base for exploring the area. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel bar felt more like a café, which worked well for us during the day. In the evenings, it would have been nice to have a cosier lounge or bar area to enjoy a nightcap, but it certainly didn’t detract from our stay. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast. This seems to be a recurring issue at the Riu hotels we’ve stayed in—they try to cater to so many different tastes that the overall quality and selection don’t quite hit the mark. Everyone we encountered during our three-night stay were friendly, cheerful, and genuinely helpful, which made us feel very welcome. Overall, we’d definitely stay here again.
No major complaints. It is a city centre hotel, so rooms are not massive, but the layout gives you a sleeping zone and bathroom/dressing zone. Room was quiet, it had a large window to see the sky and if its raining or dry. Mattress/bed could be better. Its not bad, but could have been a higher quality. Breakfast lounge was enormous, we didn't realise how busy the hotel was, as corridors and lifts generally quiet. The breakfast was also to a high level and the buffet was fresh. Location suited us, and taxis were always outside, or a few minutes wait during the day. May be less late at night. Short walk to see Big Ben and join river cruises. Staff pleasant and very helpful. What is lacking is a bar to sit at and have a drink in the evening, or after returning from a West End show.
