The Savoy

Our stay at The Savoy fully lived up to its premier luxury status. As a family traveling with 2 adults and 4 kids, safety is paramount for us, and the hotel provided a completely secure and comfortable environment throughout our visit. We booked connecting rooms that accommodated three people each, which was an excellent option and gave us the perfect amount of space. Despite being a historic property, the hotel is impeccably maintained and doesn't show its age at all. The service was outstanding across the board, and the breakfast was truly spectacular. The location is also highly convenient, situated just a 10 to 15-minute walk from most major areas. We were fortunate to secure a significantly discounted rate, making this exceptional experience a fantastic value. Highly recommend for families looking for a safe, spacious, and luxurious stay. A note on price. I was able to find a great deal on Expedia that was almost 50% less than the price of a direct booking with the hotel site. The only issue was I needed to ensure a connecting room and was able to do that with the hotel after booking on Expedia.

Once again, we received a warm, efficient welcome on arrival. After lunch, we were delighted that our room was ready early, allowing us to check in ahead of time. Our Art Deco Luxury King Room was absolutely stunning. It looked as though it had only just been refurbished, and every detail was exceptional. The room was beautifully appointed, with every design feature thoughtfully considered and perfectly executed. As always, we enjoyed drinks in the American Bar, followed by dinner one evening at the Savoy Grill, both of which were outstanding. The staff throughout the hotel are simply exceptional—professional, attentive and effortlessly gracious in everything they do. We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The Savoy really is a little oasis in the heart of London. The moment you walk back through its doors, you instantly feel calm, welcomed and genuinely cared for. After staying at The Savoy for the first time in around 25 years, I can honestly say it exceeded my memories. From the moment we arrived, the reception team and every member of staff we encountered were welcoming, professional and genuinely attentive. The level of service was exceptional without ever feeling forced. Our King Deluxe room was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Every detail reflected the quality and heritage you expect from one of London's most iconic hotels. The food and room service were equally impressive, delivered promptly and to an exceptionally high standard. We were also delighted to receive a complimentary bottle of champagne and a Wimbledon-themed cake, which was a thoughtful touch and made our stay feel even more special. The Savoy isn't simply a luxury hotel – it's an experience. Outstanding service, beautiful surroundings and an atmosphere that makes you feel genuinely valued as a guest. A truly memorable stay, and we won't be waiting another 25 years before returning.

We celebrated my 60th birthday with afternoon tea at The Savoy, and it was a truly memorable experience. The elegant surroundings created the perfect setting for such a special occasion. The food was absolutely amazing—beautifully presented, delicious, and incredibly generous. There was so much to enjoy, and every detail was thoughtfully prepared.
