We had the pleasure of staying at The Egerton House Hotel in September of 2026. This beautiful boutique hotel rates among the highest for comfort, hospitality, beauty, and high quality food and bar choices. Jacques greeted us upon arrival with warmth, kindness and full of helpful information. He obviously takes his job seriously, making sure his guests have a positive experience. The bar/lounge staff and lovely woman in the breakfast dining room all went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed and more. Their attention to detail is unbelievable. This exquisite hotel will definitely remain high on my list of 5 Star hotels. Few qualify, but The Egerton House Hotel promises to exceed your expectations.

Kevin, at the bar, made me the best Vesper martini I have ever had. I’ve had a fair few in my time but he and the cocktail were outstanding. I won’t describe what he did as I suggest you watch, learn and enjoy! Only suggestion to improve it would be use Kina L’Aero d’Or instead of Lillet Blanc which would add quinine. 6* if I could. Bravo.
Egerton is a quaint quintessential English hotel - the staff and the service they provide is impeccable. So friendly, attentive and helpful. The rooms are slightly tight however I’m mindful it is central London so space is limited. Toilet in our room has a bit of trouble flushing. Bathrooms feel very luxury with a towel warmer rack, neck pillow and epsom salts for a bath, robes and slippers. AC / temp was very comfortable. Turn down service was such a nice touch. Location is a bit away from the tube so prepare to take the bus if you want public transit. The breakfast is full service so plan accordingly to wait (not simply buffet / continental) however could tell it was very fresh. Guests seem to air on the older side (+50 years old). On the pricier side but nice service added value.
We stayed at Egerton House Hotel for our Elopement at the Chelsea Old Town Hall and it was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the team went above and beyond to make our stay feel truly special. The turndowns and the genuine warmth of the service - it was all world class. A special mention must go to Jacques, who was outstanding. He helped us coordinate some of the moving parts in the lead-up to our stay and even shared some fun honeymoon tips. He made the whole experience feel effortless. Egerton House reminds you what true luxury hospitality looks like. We would recommend it without hesitation to anyone looking for a special stay in London.
From now on, Egerton House will be our go-to place to stay in London. The service was very good- attentive, considerate and solution seeking. Our room was spacious and cozy. Only the houskeeping was a little inconsistent. After one turndown, our bathroom was freshend up, the other evening, it was not. I also hanged a laundry bag to be taken by the housekeeping but it never made it to the laundry service. Overall, the room was clean and neat. The breakfast was tasty but a bit slow. Spending almost 1,5h to receive 2 courses, is a bit too much. Overall if you are not in a hurry, the breakfast room is a nice space to enjoy a slow morning.
