The location was perfect. Right outside Victoria Station with tons of bars and restaurants. A straight 10 min walk to Buckingham Palace and another 5-10 min through the park to Parliament Square. Rooms were very nice but on the small side. If you are 2 or more get a bigger room. Staff is amazing! Specifically Sydney and Florina. I had the breakfast Buffett and it was very good. Eggs, Beans, ham, sausage, breads and deli meats. Highly recommend staying,
We stayed at The Clermont Victoria twice, and overall it has become one of our favorite places to stay in London. The location is simply outstanding. The hotel is directly connected to Victoria Station—you can actually enter the hotel from inside the station—which makes it incredibly convenient whether you’re taking the Underground, catching a train to the airport, or exploring destinations outside London. There are plenty of shops, cafés, restaurants, and takeaway options right at the station, and Buckingham Palace is only a short walk away. The hotel itself is beautiful and grand, with a classic elegance that makes your stay feel special. Our two stays were quite different. The first time we were given a room on the 7th floor. It was very small, and reaching it involved several corridors and changes of lift, making it a little inconvenient. On our second visit, however, we stayed on the 4th floor and had a lovely, spacious room overlooking Victoria Station. We really enjoyed watching the city below, and the room felt warm, comfortable, and welcoming. Breakfast deserves a special mention. There was an excellent selection of food, including delicious smoked salmon, fresh guacamole, and a full English breakfast. The coffee was excellent, and the service throughout breakfast was attentive and friendly. We would also like to thank the receptionist who checked us in. She was welcoming, efficient, and made the whole check-in process quick and easy, giving us a wonderful first impression. Despite the small room on our first visit, our overall experience has been excellent. Thanks to the unbeatable location, beautiful hotel, comfortable accommodation on our second stay, and outstanding breakfast and service, we will definitely be returning.
Faris greeted us with phenomenal graciousness and patience. He ensured that all our requests were met. He was the consummate professional and certainly represented the Clermont with compassion, class and dignity. He left an outstanding first impression. Our room was spotless, well appointed, and quiet. The breakfasts were lovely, lots of options with well trained and attentive staff. In short, highly recommend!
I had a wonderful stay at The Clermont Hotel in Victoria. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, and full of character, and the location is very convenient for visiting London. My room was lovely and comfortable, and I really enjoyed both The Soak restaurant and the breakfast buffet, which were great quality. The service throughout my stay was excellent, but I especially want to thank Lavinia. She was incredibly kind, warm, and professional, and made my stay feel very special. During my first visit, she gave me great recommendations for places to visit in London, and we had a lovely conversation about travel. When I returned for a second stay, she remembered me and even sent champagne to my room, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I would happily stay at The Clermont Victoria again and recommend it to anyone visiting London.
We just took our first trip to London and could not have picked a better hotel to spend our first 10 nights in Europe. The hotel literally has an internal entrance from the Victoria Train Station, which is super convenient for daily travel on the Underground and train access. You are within walking distance to Buckingham Palace and other attractions. There are a ton of great pubs and restaurants near the hotel, including a Food Hall across the street, and the hotel also has a great restaurant (The Soak) and another bar inside, which has great service and is never crowded. The rooms are plenty spacious, and has cold AC and high speed WIFI! From the moment that we arrived, the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. We were there to celebrate my 50th birthday and the hotel left us cupcakes and a bottle of Prosecco in our room. The rooms come with a complimentary stocked mini bar, which is huge. I also recommend purchasing the breakfast with your room as well, which is fantastic. We are in Paris now for a few days, but head back to London for one day before returning to the US. We chose to go back to Clermont for our last night in London. They were also so kind and watched a few of our bags until we return from our trip to London. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to London. Trust me, you'll love this beautiful hotel.
