Dingy is best way to describe it: walk up, dirty carpet, stained bed spread, stained walls, stains and dirt throughout, shower trickle, clogged sink, bugs. Had to eat cost of non-refundable room and booked elsewhere, because so gross wouldn’t want to stay another night.
Really enjoyed our stay at the Bull and the Hide. Great location with easy access to transit and walkable to many local markets, restaurants, and sights. Friendly staff and nice, clean room with a comfortable bed and plenty of amenities. We were worried about noise being above the bar and staying for a weekend but it was really not too bad! Great place to come back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.
The pub is fantastic itself, really nice place serving good beers and wines, amd the food looked good, though we didnt eat here
For a one week business trip it could not have been better. Had a room with a nice bathroom, comfy bed and the basic amenities I needed. Nothing extra or redundant. It's not a 4 star hotel let's get that clear! For a room by Liverpool Street, its great! There's loads of food and shopping options in the area, walking distance to everything, and if not you got the station right there.
Don't know of the hotel but went Bull pub for a drink in here, easy to talk, beers on tap and decent bev variety. Bathroom was fresh and clean. Staff were friendly enough. Location a stone throw away from LST trains and loads close.
