We spent a couple of nights here and found the accommodation perfectly adequate. The location of the hotel is not exactly central London, but we had business both in Centre London and in Rotherhithe, so this location was ok. Bus connection will take you anywhere you like in London, although this hotel is a little way from the nearest bus stop, and much further to the nearest underground station. The breakfast was standard buffet which was enough to get started on the day, but not especially inviting. Our room was spacious and clean with a good en suit bathroom, but the view from our window was a yard and some boring buildings, although we could see the top of The Shard tower in the not too far distance. In fact we visited The Shard which was easy walking distance from the hotel.

Had a pleasant stay at Bermondsey Square Hotel. The room was comfortable, and the bed was particularly comfortable, giving us a really good night’s sleep. Breakfast had a fair amount of choice, with a good selection to start the day. The only thing I wished the room had was a bathtub to relax in after a long day. That would have made the stay even better. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with friendly service and a good breakfast. I’d happily stay again.
We had an awesome 5-night stay here in London! The location is IDEAL - there are so many restaurants and bars and bakeries all within a few minutes walk. The staff is so accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They exceeded our expectations every day. And they come clean/restock your room everyday (if you want them to), so that was a nice touch. The last place we stayed in Paris only provided cleaning if you stayed 8 days or longer. The shower is AWESOME and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely stay here again when we return to London. Oh and one more thing...we had no idea (until we were about to check out) that we had a refrigerator in our room. We had needed one multiple times but didn't know it was there...in the second drawer under the TV stand.
Had a great stay here, paid £20 extra for a club room, ours was on the 5th floor. The best thing about it was the quiet, couldn't hear the street (which is pretty quiet anyway) or the neighbouring rooms, water pipes, etc. just lovely peace! Some other points about the room: fridge with complementary water and chilled glasses (nice touch), blackout curtains, great aircon, really nice and very modern bathroom with large rainfall shower. The mattress was so good i took a photo of the label. You could say some parts of the room were a bit tired (e.g. varnish on the desk, some scraped off paint on a wall edge but the quality of the furniture and fittings made up for it. Bathroom looked brand new though. We went out for breakfast so can't comment on that. Sainsbury's local on the square, nice little park right opposite. I liked the area between the hotel and london bridge (station is 25 min walk). We will definitely stay again, i think for london it's great value, possibly distance to the tube keeps the price a bit lower? Highly recommend.
Positives, Lovely hotel, lovely staff, clean well appointed room, comfy bed and great value for money, lovely breakfast! Negatives, shower worked only on one setting, shower lights all but one didnt work, generally tired room, marks on walls, a little tatty. Could do with more teas and coffees in room, and the TV had to keep getting reset on the wall. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there, and would absolutely stay again!
