Strand Palace Hotel

Beautifully appointed luxury hotel in a great location. Staff are first class - always helpful, professional, and knowlegeable and immaculately dressed. All areas very clean. Drinks range comprehensive, and food choices excellent and top quality. Smooth speedy checkin and exit. All charges clearly notified before purchase. A real quality experience, we will return.

Great location in the heart of central London. The rooms are ok but you quickly realize that it’s budget quality that wants to look fancy. But it’s functional and there weren’t any big drawbacks. Breakfast is excellent, nothing to complain. The gin bar is a big plus. Excellent cocktails and cozy atmosphere. Excellent gym! It’s rare to see so much equipment in a hotel gym.

Great location, very central and lively in the evenings. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and my room was clean. I really liked the filtered water stations on every floor. The room also had a coffee machine and some complimentary chocolates. Breakfast was very good, with lots of options. I also liked that they had takeaway cups for coffee. Overall, a very comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Great doorman and guest service desk man. Awesome location. Cool historic hotel. We got an Superior King with a city view (which was just a view of the street). We had problems with the front desk staff. Our room was not ready, they did not come get us from the lobby when it was ready and then proceeded to start the check-in process over from the beginning. We reported a problem with our coffee maker which was never handled. The restaurant was expensive and not worth the money. The Gin Palace drinks were great, but at $21 a drink they should be. Overall very nice hotel but could use some tweaks for the rate one pays.
