Royal Lancaster London has been my go-to hotel since I began my PhD journey in 2023, so returning here immediately after passing my viva made this stay especially meaningful. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine smiles, warmth, and exceptional hospitality. A member of the Guest Relations team personally accompanied me to my room, which was on the highest floor with the most beautiful view. I was also delighted to find a celebratory cake and a thoughtful card waiting for me. Every detail made this milestone even more memorable. Royal Lancaster London never disappoints and, once again, exceeded my expectations. Thank you to the wonderful team for making this celebration so special!
Last night, my friends and I were thoroughly impressed by the hotel's lovely, color-coordinated ambiance. The dining experience at its restaurant was equally delightful, offering superb food and impeccable service. It truly was a 5-star culinary journey in a beautiful setting that left us all satisfied and impressed.
What a true unassuming gem, hidden in a quiet location. Easy to travel to. Perfect location by the tranquil Italian Gardens. Once the door was opened by the friendly, smiley doorman, we walked into a calm, quiet, luxurious hotel. The front desk staff made checking in easy, even though we were early. Each and every staff member was polite, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. This friendliness make us feel so welcome and made our stay truly special. A special thank you to the bar and restaurant staff including Monir, Tatiana, and Miriam. They were all kind, warm and professional, and this set the tone for the whole stay. Such a memorable birthday trip. Thank you.
The rooms are spacious airy and well appointed with great views. But storage spaces clothes etc for a few days stay are too limited - that’s the only negative I have. The hotel excelled with the staff and their very helpful attitude. We had only arrived on our first day of a 4 day stay in London when we had a family bereavement which required us to cancel all our plans and leave early the next day. The staff and management could not have been better at helping and facilitating us. Particularly Vitali on the front desk and the concierge on the Thursday evening- superb and so accommodating and understanding. Even the following morning at 05.50 the reception staff were superb. Room service were also very helpful and understanding as was dealing with the manager in the Italian restaurant that we cancelled - with no notice. They also had a packed breakfast and some tea ready for us as we left. Thank you. Location is excellent for Heathrow and for walking into town. Highly recommend and despite not availing of any of the facilities it was the people that made this worth returning for.
