Raffles London made it onto The World's 50 Best Hotels list in 2024 and stayed on for 2025, which is pretty impressive for such a new hotel, so I had to check it out myself. The reception team were so warm and welcoming. McNeil helped with our bags and gave us loads of useful info about the hotel, and Dean from concierge sorted our cars for us too. Wilson at Kioku was really attentive, Lubica at breakfast went out of her way for our dietary needs, and Tony, our driver in the hotel's Range Rover, felt like catching up with an old friend. Then there's Cecil, the Head Doorman. He was there from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, and he honestly just embodies what Raffles hospitality is about. The room was exactly what we asked for, breakfast had halal options, the pool is stunning, and The OWO building itself has been done up beautifully. But honestly, the people were what made the stay. Every single staff member genuinely wanted to help and made the effort to show it. The only negative is I felt a member of staff lied about something. I booked directly with the hotel, so I expected my room card to have my initials on it, like I’d seen in a YouTube review. I wasn’t given one at first, and by the pool, a member of staff gave a card with initials to someone I was having a convo with, who happen to have a membership for the facilities. When I asked the member of staff, I was told it was only for members. But when I went to the front desk about it, they said otherwise and were happy to sort one out for me. Anyway, for a hotel this young, it already feels like it's got the character and service that most places take decades to build.
Our afternoon tea at The Drawing Room at OWO Raffles London was exceptional, and a large part of that was thanks to Krina. As a Middle Eastern family, genuine hospitality and making guests feel truly welcome mean a great deal to us. Krina embodied exactly that. She treated us with such warmth, kindness, and respect from the moment we arrived, making us feel completely at ease throughout our visit. She was incredibly accommodating, attentive to every detail, and anticipated our needs without ever being intrusive. Her thoughtful approach and sincere care transformed what would have been a lovely afternoon tea into a truly memorable experience. Exceptional service is not just about efficiency, it is about making people feel seen and valued. Krina did exactly that, and she is a wonderful ambassador for OWO Raffles London. We will certainly be returning, and we hope to have the pleasure of being looked after by her again.
Our stay at the Raffles London OWO was one of the best hotel experiences we have had in international travel. It started with arrival in the courtyard and being greeted by the first of what we would come to know is an impeccably trained staff. Our room was large and furnished beautifully. The renovation and restoration of the old War Office into this luxury hotel is in itself a tourist attraction but fortunately tours of the hotel are limited to guests. I highly recommend taking the tour. All of the staff are supremely well trained (the hotel requests a photo ahead of time, and the staff call you by name - remarkable). Special recognition to the Concierge team - they are exceptional. All of the public spaces are beautiful, and the bars and restaurants are fantastic. 5 stars!
