⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent stay at voco London! The hotel is lovely, very well maintained, and spotlessly clean. The service was impeccable from beginning to end. I would especially like to thank the housekeeping team for their outstanding work, attention to detail, and for keeping the rooms so clean. A special thank you also goes to Aaron from the restaurant team for his professionalism, kindness, and excellent service. It is thanks to wonderful staff members like them that a stay becomes even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again on my next visit to London! 😊

The location is brilliant, walking distance from the British Museum with access to all transportation modes. The area is very nice for walk abouts with close proximity to a few gardens 😊 The staff are really nice. Shaan from reception, Tia from housekeeping and Haroun from breakfast; thank you so much for making our stay easier and more enjoyable!
Amazing hotel experience. Breakfast buffet is very thoughtful, great selection of ready and cook to order items. Clean and room service is top notch. It was so nice to find fresh spring water in glass bottle and cookies when I returned my room each day from workshops.
The location is good, and the rooms are clean and recently renovated (though cheaply done). That’s where the positives end. This hotel is mid rebrand. It’s an IHG property under the Voco brand, and the positioning is misleading. There’s a similarly named luxury hotel nearby that people may confuse this with; they are not related, not even close. This is a cheap, rundown hotel with a cheap fix up, full stop. It’s also one block from the Kimpton (same IHG group), so don’t expect anything close to that level either. The hotel sits right off the street, and even with a quiet room facing another building, I could hear everything from the corridor: talking, walking, doors, as if there was no soundproofing at all. I booked by accident and tried to cancel. Customer service, from the general manager down to operations, was gross, matching everything else here. If you go in knowing it’s a basic property and get a genuinely low rate (under £200), it’s tolerable. If you’re expecting more, you’ll be badly let down. One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time.
I booked well advance because I knew London would be busy on the night of our stay. I hold top-level status with IHG and was even phoned a month before I stay to ask what welcome amenity I would like, I asked for breakfast. On arrival I was told the restaurant was closed, the bar was running a limited service and no breakfast was available. I was also told that an email had been sent to inform me about the restaurant situation, it most certainly hadn't and the other 3 people checking in at the same time were also told they had been informed when they hadn't. It took several requests for the duty manager to leave their office and speak to me, I was greeted with a sorry and a shrug. I was told I could cancel if I wished, there would be zero chance of me finding a replacement hotel on the day for a similar price so I was stuck. On top of this, there is little evidence of refurbishment having happened, the rooms are small and the lift tiny. I won't be back.
