Some pros, many cons. 2.5 stars is fair I believe Pros: - Large rooms (these are apartments after all) - Good location, close to several train stations - Decent gym, open 24h Cons: - Rooms are very dated, and it shows. In need of a renovation - AC in the bedroom has a loud fan noise that maintenance could not fix (of course this needed multiple calls).. Guest Relations offered biscuits and tea as compensation - TV signal drops every once in a while and requires that you unplug/plug (again no fix) - Sauna is always turned off and it’s always a hassle getting someone to turn it on - We were checked in late (check in time was 3pm and the room was not ready), we were told that this was the case because check-out time is 2pm (this turned out to be not true, as checkout is noon) - It takes forever to get any sort of request done (e.g. we called to request some laundry bags and only received them after ~2 hours) - Cleaning is only done every 3 days (we called to have it done earlier and the receptionist said he’d put in a request (he did not apparently) Overall, decent hotel, employees need serious training on how to deal with guests, they are not genuine and do not care about guest experience apparently. What a shame..

Aaron was great. He provided great information regarding sites of interest. His history of London was good. He offered visitation times and fees. He provided practical knowledge about Marriott and its services. I will definitely chose Marriott for my next stay, due to his great customer service.
The rooms are dated and not well maintained. Various styles of furniture in varying condition. Limited outlets and no usb port access. No real end tables so you end up cluttering items all over the room. Two showers in the room. One with a high tub and one with magnetic plastic doors. The service is low. Most of the front desk staff nit helpful. Visible bias in how diverse guests are treated. Adjacent to the elizabeth line and uber boat. So far from the rest of london, uber rides are so expensive. The elevators are a tad weird. The elevators are close to you. You press the button they live in the opposite direction. Always a wait. Not a very accessible hotel. Loys of stairs and oddly placed ramps. Temperature variation throughout the facility. Lounge was decent.
Really impressed. Check‑in was quick, the team were friendly, and the facilities were top‑class. Will definitely return.
Firstly, a positive — the staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating when there’s an issue. They really do their best to help. That said, I’d strongly recommend staying elsewhere, especially if you’re travelling for business — there’s plenty of competition in the area. Cleanliness is a real concern, with used tissues left lying around in public spaces, personal medications and creams from previous guests still in rooms, and bins that haven’t been emptied. The hotel itself feels quite tired, with heavy limescale on taps and a noticeable damp smell in some rooms. I ended up switching between three different rooms in one night, just to be sure. The electrics can also be unreliable — the air conditioning, phones, and fridges don’t always work as they should. Finally, if your room is on the side furthest from the river, be prepared for the trains. The vibrations are so strong you’ll genuinely wonder how they’re not running right through the building. In short, while the staff are fantastic and go above and beyond, the hotel itself really needs investment. They’re working far too hard to make up for the building’s shortcomings.
