We had excellent experience with the staff especially Bushra. Location is very convenient to Borough station, Borough Market, and London bridge. There is a Tesco Express right next to the entrance. Neighborhood feels very safe.

The Marlin Apartments offer a sleek, modern stay with a minimalist design that feels both functional and comfortable. The living area is bright and spacious, featuring warm wooden floors, soft lighting, and a neutral palette that creates a calm atmosphere. The kitchen space is compact but well-equipped, ideal for short or extended stays. The bathroom stands out for its clean lines, glossy tiles, and modern fixtures — a perfect blend of practicality and style.
Honestly, I would rather sleep in a tent with a homeless person than ever stay at this hotel again. Room 126 left a very bad impression and was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. During check-in, the receptionist was talking on the phone, which was very unprofessional and made us feel ignored. A copy of my passport was requested, but the staff member was unable to explain why it was needed. When I asked whether this was a company policy requirement, I still did not receive a clear answer. The whole experience was confusing, unpleasant, and created a very poor first impression. The room itself was also a major disappointment. There was no air conditioning, and only one fan was shared between two rooms, making a comfortable night’s sleep almost impossible. The room was extremely hot and uncomfortable, and on top of that, the bathroom heater had been left switched on during such hot weather, making the conditions even worse. This was absolutely not what I expected from a hotel. The hotel also required a deposit. To be fair, it was returned around two hours after check-out, so credit should be given for that. I would also like to mention that on the day of departure, the staff were much more professional and friendly. This was a positive difference compared with the poor first impression at check-in. Unfortunately, there was very little else to praise. The overall standard was poor, the stay was uncomfortable, and the experience was definitely not worth the price. I do not recommend this place and I will certainly never stay here again.
⭐️ 1/5 – Would rather sleep in my car Where do I even begin. This place somehow managed to lower my expectations after I arrived. The room smelled like a mix of damp towels and regret. The carpet looked like it had survived several crimes and a minor flood. The bed was so uncomfortable I’m convinced it was stuffed with broken dreams and springs from the 1980s. Every time I moved, it squeaked like it was crying for help. I slept maybe 2 hours, mostly out of exhaustion. The bathroom? A horror show. Mould in places mould shouldn’t be, a shower that alternated between Arctic blast and lava, and towels that felt like they were made from recycled sandpaper. Staff were either nowhere to be seen or visibly annoyed that guests existed at all. When I mentioned an issue, I was met with a shrug that basically said “not our problem”. To top it off, the walls are paper thin. I didn’t just hear my neighbours — I felt like I was part of their family by the end of the night. Save your money. Save your sanity. Stay literally anywhere else.
We stayed at Marlin Apartments in London, UK for a week, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing overall. Traveling with four kids, we expected at least basic upkeep, but there was no cleaning service provided during our entire stay, which quickly became inconvenient. On the second day, one of the main elevators stopped working and, surprisingly, it was still out of service by the time we left. That left everyone relying on just one elevator, which was a struggle—especially since our stroller could barely fit inside. It made getting in and out of the building frustrating and time-consuming. The only real positive was the location. Being about a 10-minute walk from the center was definitely convenient and made it easier to get around the city. Overall, while the location was great, the lack of maintenance and service made this stay far less comfortable than we had hoped
