Service by the staff at the restaurant and front door was great. Rooms are really small even with what is considered a quiet. View notes Hyde park but that is a stretch for 5th floor suite. We picked this hotel because of the indoor pool but it was not heated well. Sauna/steam room was good. Overall a very average Marriott- would not pick this location again.

We spent 6 nights at the Marriott Park lane. Two interconnected rooms for a family of 2 adults and 1 child. What stood out: Service: from the front desk, to the restaurant staff - the service mindset was outstanding. Vivian who is a server in the main restaurant one step ahead to provide recommendations and have our needs anticipated for breakfast daily Location: everything is walking distance. Hyde park, shopping streets, cafes, and restaurants, car rental places, and most of the key attractions. It’s totally unmatched Rooms: Are small but if a family is looking for convenience the interconnected rooms are a great solution. They are clean and relatively modern What can be improved The usual service offering to Marriott platinum members. Small request for a event room for 2 hours for a business call attracted 300 pounds which is typically complimentary for platinum users The hotel has only one restaurant. It serves good food but for long stays having only one options can be limiting. For a short 6-10 day stay it is fine given the various options around the hotel Spa: Hotel advertises a spa but it doesn’t have any spa service. It has a functional pool and steam room but no spa offering
Incredibly welcoming, responsive, friendly staff. Well- appointed rooms including incredibly tasteful choices of lotion, soaps. Breakfast in the executive lounge had a Middle Eastern flair in addition to the usual extensive spread. Well done. Quite enjoyed it. The pool on level B is the bonus. Phenomenal stay. As a Titanium Elite, will certainly return.
The standout features of this property are its aesthetic appeal, comfortable room interiors, and the exceptional service provided by the majority of the front-of-house team. The bell staff and doormen were consistently helpful, friendly, and willing to go out of their way to assist guests. Areas for Improvement Front Desk Consistency: While most of the check-in staff were incredible, the experience was unfortunately inconsistent. One team member on duty, Sumit, appeared disengaged and focused on the end of his shift rather than assisting guests, which detracted from an otherwise welcoming arrival. Room Privacy: The layout of certain rooms results in windows directly facing neighboring rooms. This significantly limits privacy, making it difficult to keep the curtains open to let in natural light. Executive Lounge: The lounge area would benefit from an update. The atmosphere felt dark and uninviting, and the level of service in this area did not meet the high standards observed elsewhere in the hotel. Breakfast options were minimal especially for vegetarian and afternoon tea was nothing to shout about.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a very friendly doorman, and the reception staff were also warm and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the in-room amenities were great. I especially appreciated the quality Babyliss hairdryer, which was a nice touch. The shower also had excellent water pressure. The only downside was that a couple of the doormen were not particularly friendly, although the one we interacted with most often was outstanding and made a great impression. The location was another major highlight — being so close to the Marble Arch tube station made getting around incredibly convenient. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.
