Everything was kind of "off". The rooms are outdated. Service was slow to get our baggage to our room. Had to ask multiple requests to keep us in the same room for the separate booking we made to several people and in the end, still didn't get done. Sheets had stains. But worst of all, you move their shower controls 2 mm and it all of a sudden goes from warm water to scalding hot without any warning. I made complaints about the shower's safety issue when I checked out, only to get asked if I had complained about it before. When I said, yes, I tried to call but no one at the front desk picked up or called me back, it went unanswered. The manager standing next to the receptionist I spoke to probably overheard me but didn't seem to care and acted distracted. View was nice and the trains we faced were quieter than expected. Other than that, the hotel is in a good location because it was close to the city airport I flew out of but probably wouldn't stay again.

Exceptional Service and Outstanding Hospitality at Marriott Canary Wharf While the exterior appearance of the property is somewhat not so nice, the overall experience inside is genuinely fantastic. Hosting a meeting for over 30 people proved to be a seamless endeavor thanks to the incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming staff. Every detail of the event was handled with care, ensuring everything ran without a hitch. * Events & Dining: The catering deserves special recognition—the lunch buffet provided during the conference was exceptional, and the daily breakfast offered a fantastic spread. For additional dining options, Gopal’s Dosa and many other food stables in the nearby market hall is convenient for good food. * Accommodations & Service: Reception provided a seamless check-in experience, and the guest rooms were pristine, comfortable, and maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. * Location & Value: Being situated within easy walking distance of both the Elizabeth Line tube station and a DLR station makes getting around London remarkably easy. Compared to properties closer to the main square, it offers great value while remaining fully connected. A truly positive stay from start to finish—the phenomenal staff make this hotel a standout choice for both business events and personal travel.
Great hotel in middle of a very vibrant area of London. Literally on the ward is is close to many good restaurants and shopping and entertainment. One Tube stop away from O2 arena. But that is not the best part. The service and the people are what makes this place truly exceptional. Staff is knowledgeable helpful and always smiling. Aaron at the front desk was terrific making sure we got off to the train station for our next adventure. He walked out with us and waited till the cab got there. Shuaib also helped us taking the four pieces of luggage got downstairs safely and in to the cab. Both of them were very nice and made us feel special. They gave us more suggestions for places to go on our next trip to UK. My wofr and I travel all over the world and this was one of the best experiences we had. Highly recommend it.
I had a wonderful stay at London Marriott Hotel Canary Wharf. The hotel was comfortable, well maintained, and the service was excellent throughout my stay. A special mention goes to Shuaib, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, professional, and always willing to help. His warm attitude and genuine hospitality made us feel truly welcome and made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you, Shuaib, and the entire Marriott Canary Wharf team for the great experience. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!
The location of the hotel is perfect, you have every London Transport option right nearby and heaps of fodd options (this was probably the only positive element). The desk staff were generally okay but the only person to show true service was the manager in the (breakfast) restaurant - she was amazing! The rooms are old and need a refresh, I also question the cleanliness. The hotel just needs some general upgrading. There are only two lifts for this hotel, which is a bit ridiculous. We had to wait for ages for a lift and when it came they were always full from the above floors. We paid for high level executive room and recieved a room on a low floor overlooking air-conditioning plants (really noisy). We changed rooms straight away and the second room was fine and in a better location. It was a long day and we just wanted to rest, we could have done wihtout this extra hassle when my profile has all the details (why didn't they check it beforehand?). I also question what is the point of being Bonvoy Gold Elite. There was no room upgrade from the original booking, no other perks. It would have been nice to have something more tangible. It just left a slightly bad experience when really, it could have been great.
