The place has a nice location by Notting Hill and the park. It delivers a 3 star property level of experience perfectly. Unfortunately that is not what one expects or pays for. Even bigger rooms are very small, the bed comfort, shower or amenities basic. After having no tables for breakfast and waiting, one can order one item (as eg a dry toast with two eggs) and a tea or coffee. Many 3 star properties are kinder.

Stayed here September 4-6, 2026 (my second time at this hotel). I love the location of this hotel as it is about an 8-9 minute walk to Paddington Station. Further, it is far superior than the other caliber of hotels around. The cafe has good food and a decent bar. And the hotel staff is always accommodating. For example, on my most recent stay, when my initial room was not to my liking, Zaheda and Rahana kindly accommodated me and found me another room. If you're a Bonvoy member, it's a no-brainer to stay here.
We have had an awful stay here. On our first night we had to move rooms at 2am because of an alarm going off in our room and they didn’t even help with our bags. The new room we have moved to had a terrible smell coming from the bathroom, which I had reported twice but wasn’t resolved. The rooms are absolutely tiny, and don’t even have proper storage for unpacking your clothes, and also no place to open your bag in the room, so you have to block the whole doorway with you bag and move it every time. Even small things were not done properly, calling for an iron (which they don’t have in the rooms) took multiple calls to remind them to send it. They don’t keep the body wash topped up. One day our room wasn’t even cleaned all day. They also charge five pound to deliver room service, what a joke. One staff offered a change of room for the smell, but after already changing once, and the room having a worse view we did want to go through the effort of moving again, we asked what else they can do for us, they said nothing. The Staff were not helpful or hospitable. Don’t stay here.
I recently stayed in Inhabit as I was traveling to London for a friend's wedding. I was traveling by myself and while I am a Marriot member, I don't have a top tier status with tons of points so I was really looking for an affordable stay through a trusted hotel chain. I noticed this boutique hotel with very affordable prices and I'm happy to report that my stay did not disappoint going in with what I knew. Many reviews spoke about how small the rooms can be so I 'splurged' on a queen bed room and I'm glad I did b/c it gave me the room I needed for a comfortable stay. Yes, the bathroom was small and I don't think two checked luggage would've fit in this room but again knowing this and planning ahead helped a lot, and I would recommend booking the larger room if you can. Also, booking the larger room here was still much cheaper than most of the options nearby. As others noted, location was prime - so close to Hyde park and the Paddington station. As for service, reception was very welcoming to me. Yes it is a large table with 2 employees but this isn't a 5 star resort so I wasn't bothered, plus they have someone there 24/7 so you're covered. A/C in the room was marvelous and yes while they don't change your sheets unless requested, house keeping does come to tidy the room, empty trash, refill the free water, and provide new towels every day. I've stayed in many different hotels and several follow this model for sustainability reasons so again I was not bothered b/c you can just request it if you want it. Overall, as a solo traveler that didn't want a hostel and doesn't have all the fancy Marriot perks, this was a very lovely stay and highly recommend for anyone in the same position.
My first hotel choice after many visits to London. Best “for the money” hotels in London. Staff could not be more helpful, specifically Robin, Ishan, Kamali. Restaurant is small, but very helpful and sincere. Location is very close to the most major of excess points for things. Rooms are nice of the size, especially for London. Great energy with the staff, the hotel, the entire experience. Would definitely repeat and make my number one choice for London again.
