Hyatt Place London City East

Stela and Daniela paunescu cleaned my room. They are very welcoming and attentive. Also beddings are good. sometimes I feel this is a budget hotel. Slippery needs to be requested. Tissue needs to be requested through front desk only. They don’t have microwave. And they have a large bag of beddings in the closet which makes me unable to hang long clothes. I also feel the room needs a deep cleaning sometimes as I saw fungal near the AC outlet so I am almost not using AC during my entire stay.

We had a very pleasant stay here, it’s a very peaceful tranquil hotel. Very family friendly, excellent customer service all round. We only had breakfast in the morning, which had ample choice of foods , all fresh & warm. We were too busy enjoying London out and about to sample lunch or dinner. It is situated right next to Aldgate East tube, so extremely convenient. You must visit Spitalfields market down the road, lovely vibrant place. Our rooms were cleaned daily, beds made, fresh towels. Anna the daily housekeeper did a grand job, I kept meaning to tell her not to make the beds every day. We really are not that fussy, but I forgot as we were too busy jam packed tours etc, seeing the sights on London. It was always lovely to come back to a very clean and tidy room. Thank you for that Anna x I noticed the quietness of the hotel, especially on an evening, sleeping so peacefully. It’s sound proofed I was informed , it was extremely quiet & peaceful. Excellent air conditioning, so needed in the middle of an extreme heatwave. I only had one fault, there are no drawers in the rooms, just a wardrobe. As we were there for 5 days, I would have like to have somewhere to put small items. There was a wardrobe , just for hanging. We managed, left everything in our suitcases. Tbh it was easier to pack for home, as everything was still in the case 😁 as I used packing cubes. So it worked in the end. But… there was room in the wardrobe to put a set of drawers for smalls, just a thought 🤔 Hyatt? It had a great little gym for gym bunny’s like me, so very much served its purpose. Going for a hearty protein packed breakfast after my work outs, I was sorted for the week. The area outside is questionable, but I stayed with my 13 yr old daughter, it was very safe. Sometimes coming back late , after evening events. Absolutely no worries. The hotel is not the biggest, it’s compact , clean, safe & very friendly. The staff in the breakfast room were lovely , Ifat ( think I spent his name correctly ) was lovely , very accommodating and helpful to all guests. There was a huge tv in the room , which we never switched on. Fridge, coffee machine & iron and ironing board. They have everything you need here, me & my 13 yr old daughter thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had the best holiday in all that London had to offer, we would definitely stay again. We stayed for two nights to escape the heatwave. Air conditioning was nice and cool and would definitely recommend the balcony rooms for the great views. Good globalist recognition too. The breakfast at the 9F was a very nice touch and much appreciated.

I had an excellent experience! I accidentally left my phone in a taxi, and the girl at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. She immediately contacted the driver and helped me get my phone back. She also arranged for a security staff member to accompany me to the ATM so I could withdraw cash safely. The service was exceptional, and everyone went above and beyond to help. I highly recommend this place for their outstanding hospitality and professionalism!
