Firstly if you are looking for a quiet hotel in London this is high up there! Lovely peaceful sleep for once in London! Staff super friendly, helpful and attentive. Nice big rooms and bathrooms. Lovely rooftop bar. Down side, quite far out from the central activities you might want to do in London so a lot of tube travelling if that’s an issue for you, but not hotels fault just worth noting. My only niggle with hotel was breakfast, very tasty don’t get me wrong but over 2 days, both days, multiple times had to ask for items in the buffet to be topped up. Didn’t seem like anyone was keeping an eye on when things were getting low, lots of waiting around, not eating breakfast together. With 3 staff members running the breakfast area this seems like an easy fix getting one person to have this under watch and keeping it reg topped up.

It's a complete mystery to me how this hotel is supposed to be 4 stars. It lacks the basic amenities of a TV, phone or fridge. Probably because there's no space for them. The rooms are tiny, dark and depressing. There is one single small elevator for the whole hotel, so you end up waiting forever. It's very noisy, you hear talking in the rooms around you and the windows are not keeping any outside sound out. It's not exactly well cleaned. There's nothing charming, or practical, about the rooms. The staff is friendly but that does not help with feeling completely ripped off. For a third of the price and knowing that you only get the most basic of the basics, this would still feel outdated and grim, but at least you would know you get little because you paid little. I was offered drinks, breakfast; or a larger, equally grim room without a window as compensation, which I declined because it would not changed that this feel absolutely overpriced and depressing.
Came here for a little getaway with my wife and really glad we chose this place. It is so relaxed, so comfortable. Everything is extremely clean and of good quality. Excellent cooked breakfast, and plenty of healthy options, too. Wonderful evening meal on the rooftop terrace overlooking the water. The area around the hotel has lots to do and there's a very laid back feel. Some of the rooms are small, but we knew that in advance and in fact our room was bigger than we expected. Special thanks to Raluca, who was the night manager. She took extra care to make our stay so special. Very professional but also kind.
The staff at this hotel is exceptional, and they put so much care into how they treat each guest. Our stay was incredible, made so by the intuitive, generous, and truly sweet gestures from the people here. “Good” isn’t good enough. They will work to help you have the belief in humanity to do great. As educators, the mission and values of this hotel were important to us, and it is woven into every moment you spend there. Thank you all, and if you are reading this deciding whether to book, we obviously highly recommend this excellent hotel. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, relaxing common areas, fun activities, ice cream, books, charm, perfectly clean and safe rooms, and happy, loving, professional people there.
Had an incredible experience staying here while attending a conference at Excel! Firstly & most importantly, the staff were so warm, inviting and authentically kind. I arrived early and they did everything they could to accommodate me & even pointed me in the direction of surrounding attractions and areas of interest to venture into during my free time. This was consistent throughout my stay & observed with other guests - seems very much testament to the positive nature of the culture here (special shout out to Nanki, Ibrahim & Zara!) It was hardly a 5 minute walk to Excel, great food options both within the breakfast buffet and in-house restaurant options. I’m vegan and they happily directed me to all of the available options (even had coconut yoghurt, vegan cheese, alternative milk options, bircher museli etc.) Also really good surrounding options. So close to the train station & convenient ride-share pickup despite this being a floating hotel. Beautiful view being on the water. The upstairs entertainment area (although a bit rainy during my stay) is the best viewpoint for a sunset & downstairs has great co-working spaces. Cherry on the top is that the hotel is rooted in a great cause and your stay per night contributes towards the education of kids. Amazing stuff - lots of info online and within the hotel itself. 10/10 will be staying here if I’m ever in the area again. One of my favourites for sure :)
