The worst house keeping team/management ever experienced! The only saving grace for this Hotel is the Front Desk personnel, specially Mr. Mayank (duty manager), he's brilliant. The location is great too! Only if they could overhaul their house keeping team, which is the most important part of staying at a hotel, this Hotel could get better ratings.

The location was very close to the underground which was very convenient! They didn’t have parking, but the hotel was able to direct us to parking straight across the street. We received a room upgrade when we arrived, which we very much appreciated. The bartender staff was very friendly, but drinks did take some time to receive. The breakfast was also good and the staff was very attentive. Keep in mind that the elevators take some time during peak hours such as evening, check-in and morning checkout so we ended up taking the stairs on some occasions because the elevators took quite some time. Overall we would highly recommend this first day!
Had a fantastic stay at the DoubleTree Hilton. From check-in to check-out everything was smooth and the front office staff were super friendly and they were genuinely welcoming with hospitality that you not often see in busy London elsewhere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the bed was seriously one of the better hotel beds I've slept in. Got the signature warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in which I always crave for when staying at Doubletree. Overall, the front office staff are what really elevated this stay from good to great. Excellent service, attention to detail, and a genuinely friendly atmosphere throughout. I'll definitely be booking here again next time I'm in the area.
We had a comfortable stay at DoubleTree by Hilton London – Kensington. The room was a very decent size; definitely on the larger side for London, and was comfortable overall and clean. though the room view was the main street, we didn't feel the noises coming.. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. The room lacked slippers and proper bathroom toiletries, and for a hotel at this level, we would have preferred to have a coffee machine rather than basic coffee facilities. One of the highlights is the Secret Garden patio. It’s a lovely and relaxing space and a great place to spend the afternoon, especially when you just want to slow down and enjoy a drink in a peaceful setting. The location is excellent. The Underground station is literally across the street, which is a major advantage for exploring London. There’s also a Tesco nearby, along with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and places to grab a quick bite. One thing that really surprised us was the room service closing at 9:00 PM. I honestly can’t remember experiencing this before at a hotel of this standard, and we definitely didn’t expect it. The hallways also need some attention, particularly the lighting. They are extremely dim and could benefit from much brighter The elevators are another small frustration; they are quite slow. Overall, the hotel has a great location, comfortable and spacious rooms, and a lovely outdoor patio, but there are several details that could be improved to make the experience match the standard and expectations of the hotel.
The beds were extremely comfortable so I was very grateful for that. The AC was working, but of course it was super hot but overall in general, the staff provided a fan for our room and that helps cool the temperature down so I’m very grateful they went out of their way to find a fan for us. Would definitely recommend staying here. Great restaurants, nearby walking distance to everything. The underground is like one minute. Great location.
