Doubletree By Hilton London Greenwich

The hotel is really run down and dated. It was not what I’d expect from a Hilton hotel. It felt dirty. Restaurant and bar area looks like it’s in deep need of renovation. So dated, dirty furniture. Lobby looks horrible. Hotel is really dingy and dark. Initial 3 rooms stunk of sewage - immediately requested to be moved. We were moved promptly but made us late to a wedding! The rooms are tiny. Sliding doors to bathroom. Chair at dressing table was stained. Really not worth the money - better off staying at a cheaper hotel as not worth the price point. Would never stay here again. _______ Added. Thanks for your response. Please can you clarify what good will gesture you’ve offered? Surely moving rooms is the bare minimum- you can’t expect guests to stay in rooms which smell like sewage?

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. There were a few issues with the room.However, Gareth was quick to help and work his magic.Before I even knew it, he had fixed everything.Thank you so much Gareth. He was such a great help. The staff were lovely, and I’m looking forward to another wonderful stay at the hotel.

Nice staff. Attentive. Water on arrival. Air conditioned room before I arrived on a hot day which was really appreciated. They also checked if I needed anything by text. Bar nice and communal areas. Room was a bit of a disappointment. Dated and in need of some TLC.

We had a great 4-day stay here. Greenwich is an extremely nice area and there's lot of great restaurants and places nearby within a reasonable walk (10-15 minutes). Two rail stations nearby to get to Central London. We had a very spacious and clean room and staff was always friendly and helpful. It was generally quiet and pleasant as well. Great price to boot!
