An excellent hotel for the solo traveller. Conviently located for the Excell. The rooms are spacious (for London), modern and confortable. The staff are incredibly friendly, with a really warm welcome at check-in and help in getting a quiet room. The breakfast is excellent and staff were really helpful in organising me a gluten free breakfast. Martin at checkout was super friendly and helped me with a coffee to go (needed after a long conference). Amazing staff and great hotel!
I had a really enjoyable stay at the Courtyard by Marriott and wanted to give a special mention to Kay, Martin, Jasmine and Nik for making the experience even better. They were all incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional throughout my stay. The customer service was excellent, and they always made sure I felt comfortable and well looked after. It’s the small things — a warm welcome, being approachable and genuinely wanting to help — that make such a difference when staying at a hotel. A big thank you to Kay, Martin, Jasmine and Nik for the great hospitality. You’re a credit to the team and definitely made my stay more memorable. I’d happily stay again!
Overall an excellent experience. Very close to London City Airport and you can enter the city proper by taking the train from there. Rooms come with the expected creature comforts and the AC is especially welcome during this sweltering time of year. Adriana was our breakfast host and she was lovely. She was quick to respond to our requests and was personable.
Good hotel, great location. It's near to London city airport and the train station there for DLR line. We were here for 5 nights for the conference that was couple of minutes away by cab or 10 to 15 minutes by walk. Rooms were a bit on the smaller side. Liked the comfort of the bed. Bathroom & showers were great. The bar downstairs is nice & well stocked. Breakfast daily was well replenished with abundant choices. We also tried their restaurant for lunch one day, the taste, portions, warmth were appropriate. Lisa you see there during the breakfast is very wonderful & friendly. We thank her for taking our orders daily for custom omelettes. Besides her, Jaya & Jashmine were also helpful to us during our stay at the property. If in the area in the future, would definitely like to stay again.
The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the city airport. Reception staff Jhasmine and Lamin were simply amazing. They made the check in process easy and enjoyable. They were very helpful and carries genuinely warm smiles. I’ll recommend the hotel and will surely return again.
