Hotel is lovely and in an ideal location for driving to London. Would like to give a special mention to Aaron for his great customer service, very polite and friendly. The room is quite dated and there were a few issues: mattress was quite hard (personal preference I know), not much water pressure in the shower and the shower head was attached to the wall which made rinsing very difficult. The wardrobe could do with being replaced as the doors were stiff and made loud creaking noises when opening and closing the doors (not good when trying to go out for a little wander and let hubby have a lie in).

Wow, well, I cannot thank Coulsdon enough for everything they did to make me feel special on my wedding day. I need more than 5 stars! We got married on 25th July and they were fantastic! Their brilliant service started 10 months before when I first met Sophie who showed us around. I instantly got a vision for our day and booked it that evening. From then on, we had meetings, emails and so much support. Nothing was too big or too small and everything was done to ensure we got the day perfect. The food was incredible (my guests have been complimenting it ever since), the service was the best I’ve ever known and timings were adjusted to ensure everything was ready for the guests when we wanted it. All done behind the scenes without us making a single decision on the day. A huge huge huge shout out goes to Sophie who is an incredible woman and organiser - you made our day exactly what we wanted and I cannot thank you enough. The bar staff, Paula at the front desk, the servers throughout the day, kitchen staff, cleaners … everyone. Everyone went above and beyond and helped. If you’re looking for a venue - book it! 5 stars is not enough to show how fantastic they are! THANK YOU!

We stayed for two nights for our daughters wedding, from start to finish the hotel staff were excellent and went above and beyond to help us. Sophie our wedding coordinator was brilliant . The food was perfect and of a high Quality. The venue for a wedding was first class even the golfers enjoyed themselves, I would highly recommend this venue Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making Jade and James's wedding day so perfect.

Lovely old English stately home, large rooms and friendly atmosphere. Suitable for large groups or small intimate meetings. It has been modernized in some areas, and the back entrance is rather grand with acess to modern toilets, including a really nice clean disabled toilet. A ramp was put on the three steps up to the garden room we were seated in for the cream tea experience! So all of us could reach the area easily. It was made accessable. I would advise booking first if you too are a wheelchair person. It was huge fun! The scones were available in gluten free and were placed near the right people - and all of us tucked in. Nothing got thrown. It all tasted very good! This outing was supplied by East Surrey Dial-A-Ride for any of their disabled or ill passengers.
