Stayed at 54 queens gate and location was perfect for the Royal parks half marathon. I needed a special request to have my bagels toasted earlier then breakfast time, they was so helpful and very accommodating. All staff was so friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and had a good amount of plug sockets which I love!! Only things we experienced that I wasn't too happy with, our room was cold and the heating didnt seem to work, it was late and we had a very early start so we just went to sleep, I did feel quite cold during the night and in the morning. The mattress is very firm, so if you like a softer mattress just be warned. You do hear people walking around upstairs, im not too fussed about that, but some people who want no outside noise may want to be aware. I can't comment on the breakfast as I was eating a specific breakfast for my pre race meal I would return.

A true boutique yet super affordable hotel in the heart of posh Kensington! Location is a 10/10 — quiet residential area, 5-7 min to the tube, walking distance to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Natural History Museum, Albert Hall, V&A, and Harrods, without feeling overloaded with tourists. My room was spotless and spacious, with a great shower, safe, iron, slippers, hairdryer, and complimentary water in the fridge. Breakfast was simple but satisfying — eggs your way, sausage or bacon, yogurt, croissants, cheese, and ham. One honest note: a large suitcase can be tricky to carry between the two elevators to reach higher floors — wasn't an issue on my second stay (! I came back!) with just a carry-on.
54, Queen's Gate is a fabulous small hotel, wonderfully located in Kensington & just a 5 minute walk from The V&A & Royal Albert Hall & within moments from High Street Kensington, Holland Park & Notting Hill. It is an elegant townhouse with beautiful rooms, a pleasant reception lounge, small bar & lovely private outdoor terrace. It is spotlessly clean, smells gorgeous as soon as you enter (all the hotel toiletries are from The White Company) & you are made to feel instantly at home by the kind & attentive staff. It is superb value for money, offering a really thoughtful & comfortable base in one of the loveliest parts of London surrounded by great restaurants & we would not hesitate to stay here again. This was our second visit.
We were very impressed with our stay. Comfortable beds, excellent pillows, very clean. Everyone working there was helpful, polite, kind and positive, Arj especially. Location excellent. Will definitely stay there again.
This was my 2nd stay in this hotel (the 1st one being way back in early 2020). It was great both times. Nice rooms, nice staff, great location and relatively reasonable charges (given its location in South Kensington across the road from the Natural History Museum). It's a small boutique hotel and so don't expect room service etc that you would get from the large chain hotels. I would happily stay here again.
