Lombok Driver Customizable Tour Private

I had an amazing tour with Mizar Hasyim! He helped me plan a great day on the island. Not only did he share a lot of great recommendations and historic facts, he also knows everyone on the island! I can’t recommend enough.

My husband and I were very happy with our driver, and guide Mizer. He met us at the cruise port, and drove us the two hours each way to the Lombok Wildlife Park. Mizer is an excellent driver who speaks English. He was a very funny man, and had lots of stories. He added to our wonderful experience. We highly recommend him.

Dananjaya our driver was great, taking us to a couple of villages where we talked to the locals and witnessed their weaving and rice production. We also visited the Unesco World Heritage listed waterfalls, well worth the short trek through the forest. An enjoyable and informative day.

What a fantastic day!!! Our driver - Taufik was very friendly, a skilled driver and very accomodating with the places we wanted to see. The local guide that we picked up for some of the locations - Rizal, was amazing. From inviting us into his home to meet his family, to taking us on an adventure walking on the different tiers of rice paddy fields out his 'back yard', to leading us on an incredible jungle hike to waterfalls where we got to swim under the falling water. One of the waterfalls was almost 'other worldly' it was so incredibly beautiful. We could have sat there all day just amazed by the beauty. Rizal was fun, full of stories and very easy to talk with plus he took some brilliant photos for us as well. We finished the day watching the sunset on a gorgeous and pretty much deserted beach. I think we pretty much used every minute of our allocated time and by the end of the day we were tired but it was the best day of our entire trip! Thanks Taufik and Rizal.

This was a great tour and Abi was spectacular! Such fun, SO helpful with my husband climbing the stairs. Our extra helper on our trek to the falls, Ali, was also incredible! This was a super fun day because of these two guides!! We hated to say goodbye.

We had a superb tour with Sam our guide. Not only was he a fantastic guide he was a great driver too and showed us as much of Lombok as we could in one day! Thank you so much for all the great recommendations! Would highly recommend Sam and this tour!

We were provided with a guide that spoke no English at all. He tried very hard but it wasn’t his fault - Viator didn’t provide what was promised.

We had a pleasant trip because we could decide where and when to travel. Since we only had about 8 hours for the shore excursion, customised trips are very useful and safe.

My driver Ewan was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a really great time, and he took us to Kuta and back!

Excellent day in Lombok. I worked out what we should go and communicated this to the team. Out driver then followed the plan perfectly.

Our guide Ecka was excellent and very passionate about Lombok and making sure we got the most out of our time there. He arranged everything so well and answered all our questions. The waterfall trip was brilliant, bring local currency for the motorbike ride there unless you choose to walk to the second waterfall which is more beautiful than the first one and worth the extra effort to go there.

Had the trip on 12/29/2025, quite surprised that even booked through TripAdvisor once I was in US, still got a driver that slow in movement and barely speak English. I had pre-set my own itinerary, the driver literally dropped us off at each spot, no instructions no attention, in his own mind land guess. We had some questions with local ppl for Pura Meru admission (which should be free, looks like a tourist scam), whoever there tried to charge more cause we pay in dollars, instead of local currency; while our guider there doing nothing like it’s none of his business; the same time I saw another couple with their guider that tried to help out… Communication is bit stressful, after we had online transactions app, open AI; hard to believe language still would be the obstacle… After all, trip been finished. Won’t recommend this to others.

The company are experienced eith Port cruise pickups and timetables. Lana, our wonderful driver, was ready for us, asked us our ideas and then created a lovely itinary. He was conscious of our needs too. His English was amazing! He politely listened as we sked lots of questions! We wanted a less touristy beach, to see animals in a natural environment, we saw monkeys, bisonsq, variety of birds and plant life. Rice paddies, waterfalls and sea qnd sand

Our driver was very good and professional, he was very customer friendly, took us to places that gave us a great experience in Lombok. The waterfall, the bike ride through the jungle to the waterfall, the weaving village, and the beach at the Sheraton to see sunset, a great day for us!!

January was excellent. He provided wonderful local advice. We wanted to visit some locations not on tour and he accommodated. Found us a wonderful lunch location on the beach and answered all our questions about local culture and traditions.

A great experience from the initial booking to being dropped off at the Gili Mas cruise terminal by Rifai, our driver/guide at the end of the day. Communication during the booking process from Dananjaya was outstanding. WhatsApp messages were answered quickly and changes made without any problem. We were first time visitors to Lembok and Dananjaya was able to give us a very diverse range of options for our tour. Our driver, Rifai was brilliant. Excellent English speaking which really helped in getting the most out of the trip. We went to the Gili Islands and did some snorkelling and sightseeing (boat transfer also arranged by Dananjaya) and Rifai came with us and ensured we got the best out of the day. Overall, outstanding service from start to finish 👏👏

I had such a great time with Mizar! We spent the day doing everything that I wanted. Even an emergency stop at the local luggage store because my luggage broke! He was super entertaining and a great host. I highly recommend booking this service. Ask for Mizar!

The driver did not seem to have a good knowledge of the attractions we were interested in but his driving was very safe. We were not satisfied with his restaurant choice for lunch so wanted to go somewhere else. He was reluctant to go to either Sengiggi or Kuta and said it was 1 hour to drive, despite having enough time to do so

Our driver and guide, January, was an excellent host. He was very patient, listened carefully to our preferences, and tailored the tour perfectly to our interests. If we ever return to Lombok, we would definitely request him again.

Our driver and guide Rifai was punctual and very friendly and accommodating throughout our tour. We were able to customise our tour to suit our preferences. Communication was easy in English and our visit was a pleasant experience.

Good hotel was clean but not so much activity . Nightlife at Novotel Lombok boring . The hotel does not create or have any events to attract tourists or visitors. Pub / bar closed at 10:30 pm. Driver pick up and drop off efficient . Tour driver good service.

We bought some local fruit on the way, saw the beautiful countryside with the rice fields and hiked to the four central waterfalls (Benang Stokel & Benang Kelambu), it was pouring rain but it just made the hike and waterfalls even more incredible. We went to the Sukarara Village and met the local sarong weavers. The women are so talented, friendly and hilarious and we bought many traditional authentic sarongs. We went to lunch at a local Indonesian restaurant and ate delicious food that Lalu helped us order. And we went to the Islamic Center Mosque on the way back to our hotel, which was majestic and our guide was informative and welcoming. Can not recommend Lalu enough as a driver, guide and new Lombok friend.

A great day trip covering a good range of Lombok highlights: traditional village, waterfalls, beautiful beaches. Eka was a friendly and informative guide, enjoyable to spend the day with.

January was a very lovely guide: he was kind and knowledgable, spoke great english, and drove us all day with so much care and attention. We saw some wonderful cultural areas including a tapestry weaving village, temples, and rice paddies. He was perfect!

We spent our one day in Lombok with Asier as our outstanding guide.  It was one of the more memorable days of our entire 40 days of travel in Australasia.  We came away having had great exposure to the daily lives of regular citizens, merchants, farmers, and worshipers, almost entirely without any other tourists in sight.  Watching and/or participating in weaving, rice thatching, and daily worship were all special moments.  Asier’s English, kindness, patience, knowledge of the island and it cultures, and choice of itinerary were all exceptional.  A particularly memorable experience was Asier buying fruits for us at a local market, after which we headed to his home to enjoy the food and meet his wonderful family.  Get to experience the real Lombok with Asier!

Pak Rudi is a great driver and guide for our private full day trip of North Lombok. He was there early at the hotel before the trip. He is a very knowledgeable guide & understood our interests & preferences quickly. We visited amazing sites, including Bukit Selong for a breathtaking view of the majestic Mount Rinjani, the enchanting Sendang Gile & Tiu Kelep waterfalls, and a rice plantation where Pak Rudi showed us the different types of rice plants. The restaurant where Pak Rudi brought us for lunch was also excellent.

We had a great day seeing sights and Julian was great. He was incredibly helpful and kind in helping us resolve an issue where our bank card was stuck in an ATM. He went out of his way to help, even into the evening. We were lucky to have him. We would not hesitate to book again next time we are in Lombok!

We loved our day out with our guide Augus. He helped us decide where we should go and what to see. We ended up seeing two temples, two waterfalls, topped off by an oasis of a white sand beach. Highly recommend this tour for a fun, flexible day out.

We did a Northern Lombok tour, visiting Selong Hill, traditional village, Senaru and both Sendang Gile and Tiu Kelep waterfalls. The car was easily the best car we’ve had in Lombok and our driver Agus was awesome, very knowledgeable, friendly with good English. We would recommend this tour provider if you want good value for money and flexibility.

This was a nice tour. The guide was knowledgeable and it was perfect for us with small kids. It was customizable and the guide was willing to let us go with the flow so to speak.

Had a great day with Asier as our guide! He was very flexible and able to devise an itinerary that was doable and met our needs with the limited time we had on shore. Visited all the places we had in mind and added on a few more such visiting the largest mosque on Lombok. We went to a very small weaving village without the crowds of other tourists which was just what we wanted. It was extra special as we walked out on a rice field to enjoy local fruit he had bought at a roadside fruit stand. Wish we had more time to enjoy the culture of Lombok with Asier as our guide.

Our guide Eka was amazing. Great English and knowledgeable. The waterfalls were amazing. The whole tour was great. We had to cut it short due to needing to get back to the ship earlier as we had reservations for dinner on our last night.thank you.

This tour allows you to customize your day in Lombok. Highlights for us included the Weaving Village, and the wonderful waterfalls of Lombok’s UNESCO ranked national park. Our guide, Omi, knew the area well, and was able to adapt to challenges such as a torrential rainstorm midway through our trip. He was a wonderful ambassador for his region, and enriched our experience with knowledge and stories share. We recommend this experience highly.

Tour operator was very responsive and helpful in planning the tour. He made very practical suggestions and has deep knowledge of locall islands. The private snorkeling tour was exceptional.

Excellent guide who took care of everything we needed as a visiting family. We happily followed his suggested itinerary. Visited a hindu temple, possibly wouldn't recommend this as you pay to get in, pay the temple guide, driver pays for parking, but most of the temple was closed off to is, pretty though. Then visited waterfalls, amazing!!!. Paid for motorbikes to take us to the Falls which was also an amazing experience. Managed to see monkeys playing in the trees. Rice fields and enjoyed local fruit. Final stop was cultural weaving village. Guide was happy to keep going but we were exhausted. Had us safely back at cruise ship with plenty of time to spare. Comfortable. Clean, and cool car. We didn't take Indonesian money but our guide covered us if we wanted anything and we paid him back in aud upon return. His English was excellent and we would happily recommend him to others. We felt we got to see the real lombok, and understand how they live as a people.

We booked directly with Dananjaya for a private snorkelling tour of the Gili islands. Communication over WhatsApp was great and our driver, Abdul picked us up from our hotel on time at 7am. He came on the boat with us along with the captain and another guy who got in the water and took photos / videos of us which he transferred to us at the end of the tour. We went to 4 snorkelling spots around Gili Meno and Gili Air, including the underwater statue, turtle area and blue coral area. We had some free time on Gili T and had lunch and a swim on Gili Air before heading back. The tour ended up being half a day as opposed to the 10 hours but we had seen everything we wanted to. We had a great time and would recommend to others for their sightseeing itinerary.

The lombok vacations that was the tour operator did not coordinate the timing well to the driver. Our pte tour for 10 hours starts from 8.30 am as comfirmed in wats app message to me but the driver came late, 9 am, which was the time given to him in his handphone wats app message. I called the contact number but no reply. As I aspected it was a business number and they did not take calls till later. I had prior to the holiday requested for the driver's name and contact but was not given.My other tours with viator more than often would provide driver's name and contact and the driver would contact me ahead of the tour. For this tour,the driver/guide ,Agus was good as he tailored the tour to suit us. He brought us for a very good lunch at hill top.

Our private customised trip included the monkey jungle, beautiful waterfalls and traditional Lombok villages. Our driver, Santana, was prompt, friendly, spoke English very well, and generous (even lending us cash so we could see the waterfalls which we didn't realise had fees) Overall, we had a great day exploring Lombok and really enjoyed our experience. Highly recommend

We booked directly with Dananjaya at Explores Bali & Lombok (+62 821-1586-3957), he was really helpful and gave us a great price at $110 which included a full day trip of 10+ hours, all tickets, guides, donation to the Sasak village and lunch are included. We visited the ‘Rice Terrace’ viewing point, Sendang Gile & Tiu Kelep waterfalls and a traditional Sasak village. This price worked out much cheaper than alternatives we were quoted. Our driver and guide (and photographer) Julian was very informative and helpful. When we expressed interest in having some local food and coffee (not included in the tour), he went out of his way to accommodate (I highly recommend you do this and try the Fish satay - Ilan Sate and the Tahu Issy - fried tofu with rice noodles). He even stopped so we could watch a traditional ceremony. While the tour may be more than what is quoted by taxi drivers when you arrive in Lombok, Julian’s fantastic English, photography skills and local insights are worth the money. All in all, we had a great day out exploring North Lombok - if you are thinking of doing this route yourself, the roads are very steep and treacherous around Mt. Rinjani and having a driver is a must (for people like us who are not confident on scooters).

Lalu was a fantastic guide. He was very knowledgeable and had answers to all our questions. We learnt a lot about Lombok on our trip.

Sami was our driver and from the minute I got off the ship and saw him holding up a sign with my name on it, I knew we were in for a great day. Sami has a great smile and a wonderful attitude. We didn’t have much time in port as but he took us to some temples and a mosque along with beautiful stop to watch the sunset. I felt as though we saw a lot considering the short time we had. He gave us history and facts about the Lombok area and answered all our questions. This was a great tour and I would definitely recommend for anyone coming to Lombok on a cruise ship.
