The ship had mechanical problems, so did not stop at Lombok. Now going slowly under reduced speed to Singapore.

. Unique thing about Sukarara village has is tradition that requires the women of Sukarara Village to be skilled in weaving, if they have not mastered how to weave then they are not allowed to marry. for them songket is considered a symbol of the longevity of a relationship.
The Waterfalls's name Benang Kelambu means a bundle of thread. This Natural waterfall consists of two levels and each high as 20 meters. The water comes from a river upstream on Mount Rinjani.
Mayura (Mayura Water Palace) is a historic park and former royal garden located in Cakranegara, Mataram City, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Built in 1744 by King A.A. Ngurah Karangasem of the Karangasem Kingdom (which had influence over Lombok), it served as both a pleasure garden and a justice pavilion for the royal court. Its main highlight is a large, artificial central pond with a floating pavilion called "Bale Kambang." This pavilion was used by the king to hold meetings and settle legal disputes. The pond is filled with water lilies and surrounded by shady trees. The architecture is a unique blend of Balinese Hindu and Islamic influences, reflecting Lombok's cultural history. While parts of the original palace complex are gone, the park remains a popular public recreation spot and an important historical site, showcasing the island's royal past.
Visiting Banyumulek Pottery Village, visitors can also see firsthand how the clay is processed into pottery with unique designs with beautiful colors. to produce artistic art objects are an interesting sight when visiting this village. visitors can also try making pottery

Our guide was amazing his name i think was iwane he said to call him one. My husband can't walk far and walks with a stick. Iwane assisted him throughout the day he was fantastic. Our guide talked to us throughout the trip. Explained what we were seeing whilst driving and on the tour.
Great day out. Highly knockledgable and very efficient as a guide and driver. Would highly recommend
This was an exceptional experience from the very beginning to the very end! When the ship docked there was absolute chaos at the port with hundreds of passengers disembarking only to be met by hundreds of drivers, taxis, vendors, and all sorts of other people. Our guide was ready and waiting and had a sign with our name on it and found us immediately. We set off in a very comfortable SUV with our guide Bohari and our driver Ilan they both spoke excellent English and we’re very informative as we traveled around Lombok learning of the Indonesian and Islamic culture there and visiting some of the wonderful highlights of this beautiful island. The waterfalls were unbelievably magnificent, and I would highly suggest paying to ride on the back of the scooter to the Falls! We also visited a very beautiful Hindu water temple spent ample time walking around and enjoying each of these attractions. The tour was perfectly paste very comfortable comfortable in the vehicle that we had had and both our guide and driver were knowledgeable, friendly and lots of fun. There were ships tours available, but I think having the more personal touch and interactivity of this excursion is the only way I would ever go in the future! Without any hesitation I highly recommend this tour if you get the opportunity to visit this beautiful island!
Check that the driver speaks English prior to booking. Would avoid the carving as it was a large pottery shop. Also check which temple you're going to...we did not go to one advertised Viator have given partial refund
A lot of steps to the waterfalls but worth every one. Dayat, our driver was great, very engaging and gave us a really good insight into life in Lombok. We even stopped to try local fresh fruit on route, beautiful island and wonderful people. Thank you again Dayat.
We had a terrific time in Lombok. Our guide was Tamat and he was professional and fun. This tour included an interesting temple with a well informed guide. The waterfall visit was not great because of the weather. That was a 90 minute drive each way. I would suggest dropping that during rainy season. The highlight was the visit to the weaving village. The women there were so welcoming and engaging as well as talented. We ended up buying some beautiful things. The pottery village was not nearly as fun but still interesting.
We had a wonderful time on this excursion. Picked up promptly at the pier and off to a weaving community in Sukarara VIllage to watch a very informative demonstration. The shop had many nice hand made items for sale. Next stop was the Benang Kelambu waterfall. This where the excursion got very interesting. For the small sum of $5 USD, you could take a 7 minute ride on the back of a scooter instead of walking uphill for 35 minutes. Great value, except for unsteady feeling for the entire ride. Well we survived getting to the waterfall and then had to endure another 200+ steps. You'll need to take a few breaks with the heat and humidity working against you as well. Beautiful waterfall frequented by mostly locals, tour buses can't navigate here. Next stop was Lingsar temple. We "bathed" in the holy water here with hopes of a rewarding new year. Last stop was the Banyumulek pottery village and a hands on demo of making pottery. My wife made a small bowl, with assistance, on the potters wheel and had a great time. Our guide was very nice and kept offering for us to stop for lunch but we were tired after the waterfall adventure and declined the extra stop. The driver did stop and purchase some local fruits to sample which was very interesting. Would highly recommend over a ship's tour bus. We were able to drive down roads that I can't imagine a tour bus could negotiate. The scenery of rice fields and terraced gardens throughout the day was great!
A good excursion showing us different aspects of life in Lombok Quite a bit of driving though so it was a pleasant relief when we got to the waterfall and was able to stretch our legs and have a pleasant leisurely lunch
We booked a small group tour and ended up in a car with just the two of us. Our driver Mr Augus was wonderful. We didn’t want to go to a heavily populated tourist area so we were taken to the big waterfalls. We had to get on a scooter for the last part( make sure this is included in your insurance and if so demand a helmet as this is not a touristy area and your insurance may be void if you don’t wear a helmet) bloody best day ever!!! We swam with the locals and then saw some furniture and Bali hut making.
Had a fabulous driver who dodged the crazy scooters well. He took us to a wonderful little village where the women weave this fine cotton that they also grow & spin. Lovely fun ladies. Then to a waterfall which was very pretty but an awful long way from the port.
Fantastic shore excursion .. got to all attractions that we wanted to see and back to ship in good time 5 stars
The waterfall is beautiful. Lingsar temple is just ok with a local guide at the temple asking for offerings and tips before he showed us the temple. All along he was smoking! But overall, a nice trip
We were told by our guide that it rains up at the waterfalls every day and torentially. We did not expect this as we had to navigate dangerously gushing water. In saying that the waterfall was beautiful but we did not get to the second one because of the rain. We were given ponchos but we did get extremely wet. This made it rather uncomfortable for the rest of the day. Our guide Risky, was a great driver and extremely helpful all day.
We experienced several highlights of Lombok/Lembar. We were fortunate that it was a Sunday and the roads were less congested. Our driver navigated the roads with ease. We had a local guide at each stop with differing proficiency in English. Our last stop at the Lingsar Temple was frustrating because no one in our group could understand the guide.
Our driver Sabri (on behalf of Lombok Tripavacanza) was great! He told us a lot about the Island and showed us even more than we expected. The waterfalls where amazing! Thank you Sabri.
Private driver and guide. Learned a lot about the area. No hesitation in recommending this tour. Good value for price paid.
Went to the hand weavers on this tour and we were quoted prices in AUD - when we next had internet, we were charged at USD exchange rate making our purchases very expensive indeed in AUD - don’t buy anything in the villiage
We had a great day going to the waterfalls and the handicrafts and temples plus lunch and our guide was wonderful and explained everything
This is a 10-star tour!!! All the waterfall - AMAZING!!! Make sure you’re on your swimsuits and be ready to do some hiking. But, I promise you, it will be worthwhile! Also we ready to go on a motorbike as you need it to get to the “trailhead” of the falls! Our tour guide Herman was awesome - so helpful and so patient with us. Thank you!! I booked this tour at the last minute and I’m so glad I did! You should book it too!! You won’t be sorry!!!
Tour guide Tomar was very friendly and did a great job taking us around Jakarta. He was accommodating of my schedule and interest
We arrived in Lombok and our guide was waiting. A great tour, we enjoyed everything! The waterfalls were magnificent! Our guide was fantastic and full of knowledge about Lombok.
The Lombok tour guide was waiting for us when we disembarked the cruise ship with a card with our name on it. The car was comfortable and air conduit bottled water provided. The guide took us to a weaving village (where over a 1000 women pass down their skills through the generations), beautiful waterfalls with monkeys and many fruit trees and a multi faith temple with a Sacred Eel we were lucky enough to see. Throughout the driver told us about lidded in Lombok and pointed out interesting sights and stopped for photographs - great tour 😎😎
Very nice tour with driver guide very efficient and very careful. Attention to everything that may interest the traveler
Very informative, varied but strenuous excursion. Especially the waterfalls were great. Unfortunately, longer distances had to be covered, but the individual destinations compensated for this.
