Communication from Junaidi was very good, confirming our pick up. He looked after us all day very well, explaining about the culture of Lombok and ensuring we were relaxed, safe and enjoying ourselves as much as possible! The boat was great, snorkelling amazing and lunch delicious! I had such a wonderful day with my sister, we won’t ever forget it! Thank you again Junaidi and to our car and boat drivers too.

The private secret Gilis tour was an excellent choice for our family of five, staying in Kuta. Our guide, Wawan, was wonderful! He was prompt, a good driver, and communicative. He let us tailor the trip to what the family was feeling as the trip progressed. The boat ride was beautiful, although choppy at times, but the captain did his best to avoid the biggest waves. He was also fantastic in being our snorkeling guide and filming the marine life and us, during our snorkeling adventures! It was a very welcomed and unexpected surprise! Lunch was well organized and pretty filling. All the spots were scenic, although we chose to skip one as it was a little crowded and didn't think we'd see much different underwater. Instead, we ended up going to a local village where the women handcrafted fabric. We got a goddesses tour by one of the village women and learned a lot about the culture and craft. It was a fabulous trip and highly recommended adventure!

We had a wonderful day exploring the three Secret Gilis. Our guide was very friendly, reliable, and well organized throughout the whole trip. The snorkeling was beautiful, with clear water and a lovely coral reef to explore. Lunch was local, fresh, and very tasty, which made the experience even more authentic.

It was an amazing local experience! The tour guides, Yana and Afril, and the driver Mami, were super helpful, funny and we had also nice chat about indonesian culture. Experience super recommended!

A great day out at the three ‘secret’ Gilis! We got to take our time, the beaches were lovely (particularly teeny tiny Kedis where I bought the world’s biggest coconut) and our guide, driver and captain were amazing!

Fun trip to the Secret Gilis with Yana, Yensen, and Mamiq! Besides of the amazing locations with great underwater life, I especially loved their easy going and laid back attitude!

We had a wonderful day with our guide Wawan and his team. We visited a local sasak village to see the traditional way of life and the ladies showed us their incredible weaving skill of Songket fabric. We then caught a fishing boat to 5 different islands and snorkelled with a wide variety of fish and turtles. We had a delicious grilled fish lunch. Would definitely recommend this tour, the islands were not crowded and the quality of the snorkelling was great.

It was a great experience because of the great help of ning, mr ilham, yansen, and crazy captain mr yudi. However, I must say the information about the pick up point is confusing

Traveling as a family of 6 with 2 young children. This full day trip was wonderful. They took care of everything and always made sure we were comfortable and happy. We saw so many different species of fish and sea turtles! The kids loved feeding the fish! Junaidi and Umcle Sam were wonderful and full of knowledge!

A very enjoyable trip with friends to Gili Nanggu, Gili Sudak, and Gili Kedis. We all got to snorkel and see beautiful fish and views with the best team from Bale Laut. Thank you very much.

Fantastic day going to the "secret Gilli Islands" - less tourists , doing this tour privately also meant we went at our own pace which was great. The guide also took us to a local village where someone walked us around and we got to see the craftsmanship of weaving and hearing the the village story and the history of the local people . The lunch was also lovely , basic but just perfect . Our guide , driver and boat captain were all super friendly and professional . We opted to pay extra for the go pro ( do this!) and the captain also organized a cooler box and a few beers for us !

This was such a great experience. Yudhi was brilliant in guiding me with the snorkelling and getting me to the different Gillis. It was beautiful and saw many interesting fish. Super clear waters, amazing islands and good food served for lunch! Truly breathtaking and highly recommended

This was an absolutely awesome experience!! Our guides Samsul, Junaidi and Cet have all been great. They told us a lot of interesting facts about Lombok and the islands and took us to wonderful snorkeling points. The islands as well were amazing, calm and with beautiful water. I had a wonderful time with Bale Laut for my two tours of Lombok. My guide each day was Junaidi, and my driver was Ilham. Both were very professional and very personable. My first tour was enjoying the Secret Gili Islands, and the snorkeling and beach time was spectacular. My second day involved exploring waterfalls, seeing a traditional Sasak village, and relaxing on a couple beaches. All in all I would highly recommend this company and their tours.

We had the best time on our Secret Gilis tour! Our guide Wanwan and driver Sam were amazing. They took care of our every need and let us spend as long as we wanted at each spot. On our way there we stopped at the Weaving Village which was a fun highlight- and then visited the three Secret Gilis. We didn’t feel rushed and had an amazing day!

We had an amazing experience with Bale Laut Tour, made even more memorable by our fantastic guide, Yana. From start to finish, everything was well-organised and clearly explained, so we always knew what to expect and could just relax and enjoy the day. The snorkeling was definitely a highlight. We visited three different islands, each with its own unique charm. We were especially lucky to spot sea turtles, which made the experience even more magical. Yana truly made the trip special. Being local to Lombok, she shared so much insight about the area, from daily life to the unique characteristics of different villages. Her knowledge added a deeper cultural layer to the tour that we really appreciated. On top of that, she was incredibly outgoing, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable right away. Overall, this tour struck the perfect balance between adventure and cultural learning. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lombok; and if you can, ask for Yana!

Our family of 4 had an amazing time on this day trip. Junaidi, Ilham and The Captain made our day so special, nothing was too much trouble for them. They arranged for us to be picked up directly from our villa, even though we were staying quite far from the port. Junaidi was so kind to our 7 year old, even stopping on the way to buy some remedy for travel sickness when he started to feel poorly on the way. The snorkelling was some of the best we've been on, there were so much variety of marine life to see. The guides provided us with bread to feed the fish with while underwater, we were surrounded by hundreds of fish at times. We also got to explore some of the Gilis on land and have some freshly caught fish for lunch, which was really enjoyable. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend this tour.

Thank you Wawan and crew for a spectacular day! Pick up at the cruise terminal as promised and as coordinated well in advance. Waiting for us was his clean, air conditioned car and driver. In 30 minutes we were in our boat and on our adventure to the 3 separate islands. Snorkel equipment was provided along with a guide to check out all the sea life. The 3 islands were relatively quiet with few tourists but a flavor for local life as many famlies there for a fun day in the sun. All were respectful of each other and especially appreciated that we were not inundated with folks trying to sell us stuff. The highlight was the hot fish lunch with local accompaniments. No pressure and we got to dictate pace and timing as we moved from one thing to the other. Pro Tip: Bring underwater camera to capture the abundant sea life.

Very good experience with a good balance of boat, snorkeling and relax time. Pak Junaidi is a great guide and made sure the whole family enjoyed, including kid. Some snorkelling points were not crowded at all, making it more enjoyable. Definitely recommended.

Had an amazing day out to the Gillies Islands. We had a private tour and longboat and our guide couldn’t have been more helpful. We visited 3 islands and enjoyed snorkelling in the beautiful clear sea, relaxing on a tiny deserted island an bbq lunch on another island. Fantastic tour with beautiful views and a great guide

We had to cancel this tour due to inclement weather I heard that these islands were beautiful so sorry we missed it. The vendor refunded our money without any question

Really enjoyable trip. We couldn't go to the furthest of the islands due to the weather forecast, but visited 3. Private car and boat which was welcome as they didn't take the opportunity to cram people together Time of year meant that thr water was a bit cloudy but there were plenty of fish to see. The only negative is the amount of mandatory made rubbish in the sea and washed up on the beaches which is a real shame Our guide for the day was Amira and she was great, very knowledgeable and friendly and enthusiastic about her role

Yana our guide was amazing. She was friendly and so helpful. Everyone was amazing today. Great experience. Islands were beautiful. Make sure you wear beach shoes as sand is sharp shells.food was delicious

We had 2 days trip with Bale Laut Tours in Pink Beach and 5 secret Gilis. To mention here I have given this 5 rating for the 2nd day trip with Bale Laut Tours only for my tour guide, Junaidi, and best service given by him. Just to mention, I have rated this same company 3 ( Average ) rating in my earlier review of Pink beach because of their lunch hygiene issues. But they have made it up in their 2nd day trip. Here we enjoyed our lunch by the seaside shacks with good local food and was hygiene enough. As usual we were fully entertained by our jovial tour guide and we enjoyed all the spots to the fullest.

An amazing adventure to 5 tropical islands. 3 were great for snorkelling with lots of fish, coral and even a turtle. Had a great lunch, swim and relax at the other islands. We had an experience snorkel guide showing us the best spots and sights. Our tour guide Ning, was amazing and took very great care of us and gave great insights of the local life and sights. Even had some spare time at the end and did an extra cultural stop showing us some strong women making sarong 100% by hand.

Amira was our guide and she was super sweet! We had a wonderful time on the boat and snorkeling. The boat captain was very helpful when snorkeling by pointing out turtles and other fun fish. Lunch was also very yummy. This group was very hospitable and did everything to make sure we were comfortable and safe.

I'm not a fan of snorkeling but my kids are, so we decided this would be a fun activity. It was nice to see the Secret Gili Islands. I'm not sure what the regular Gili islands are like but there was so much trash in the water and on the beaches. It's sad. The kids got to see tons of fish and sea turtles and really enjoyed the snorkeling. The meal was good. After the Islands we went to a weaving village. It was interesting and the women were great with the children and showing them about their weaving, but it seemed like the guide was going to benefit if we bought anything. We had a very nice day overall.

This was an awesome snorkeling trip. We were picked up by boat at the beach in front of our hotel. Snorkelled at 3 different areas, seeing big turtles, colorful fish, starfish and beautiful colorful coral. Our guide, Yudi ensured I saw everything, guiding me to the areas to see all the best sights. He placed starfish in my hands and held my hand when he wanted me to see something special. The islands were quiet and our authentic lunch on one of the islands was amazing. A truly 5/5 trip.

Amazing day! Our guide was Amira and did an excellent job. We saw turtles, beautiful coral and even an octopus! Such a magical day!

We enjoyed 2 different types of tours and they were both fantastic. The private snorkelling tour at the Secret Gilis was beyond our expectations, for the wonderful underwater world we witnessed, which is truly unbelievable, so many fish, sea turtles, corals, and beautiful beaches. The tour of the waterfalls in the north of Lombok gave us the chance to admire the beautiful nature the island can offer. However, the real success of our holiday was the amazing staff who accompanied us. Amira was amazing, very professional and full of enthusiasm. Mr Ian, the driver, drove very smoothly and safely. Mr Yunaidi, the experience in itself! The captain of the boat, helpful every moment and the guide we had at Tiu Kelep waterfall who was so generous in lending his flip flops to my husband so he could walk up through the river, leaving the guide to lead barefoot. They all contributed to the success of our holiday!

Both of us really enjoyed the whole day. The only not so nice thing is the garbage on the beach...unfortunately what we throw in the oceans, the oceans throws back at us...

We had an unforgettable trip with Ning, Sandy and Mr. Ilham! They were incredibly kind and made our journey truly special. The snorkeling experience was amazing, we spotted starfish, turtles and even Nemo. Every island we visited was breathtakingly beautiful and we always had enough time to enjoy each stop to the fullest. The lunch was also delicious, with vegetarian options available.

We had a wonderful experience visiting the secret gilis with Samsul,Azwar,Junaidi. We managed to see turtles multiple times in different locations around the gilis. The landscape was genuinely breathtaking with different shades of blue around the ocean. The food was great especially the grilled fish. P.S: wear a tee-shirt or something to protect your back from the sun and don't go gently on the sun cream.

Today was truly unforgettable. The places we visited were absolutely stunning, but also the organization was fantastic — we felt really well taken care of. What an amazing day trip! The islands are breathtaking and you get plenty of time to snorkel and sunbathe. We felt very spoiled with our very own private car, boat and guide. We had an amazing private snorkeling trip to the Secret Gilis with our guides Yana and Mizri. Together with a very friendly driver, they picked us up directly from our stay and did a wonderful job – we immediately felt comfortable and well taken care of. Yana’s English was excellent, which not only made communication easy but also allowed us to learn so much about Indonesian culture. She answered all of our questions with great patience and detail, which made the trip even more special. The combination of beautiful beaches, colorful fish, and even a sea turtle made the snorkeling experience truly amazing. On top of that, they surprised us with a stop at a street food stand so we could try Terang Bulan. We had mentioned on the way that we had been looking for it everywhere but hadn’t found it yet – such a thoughtful gesture that made the day unforgettable. We can highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lombok.

Me and my boy-friend did today the 5 secret Gilis. Everything was perfect, the lunch was very good and the landscapes amazing. Everyone was very kind. Special mention to our fantastic guide, YANA: basically an English native speaker, fun and professional. One of the best activities in Indonesia!
