Exclusive Day Trip To Gili Trawangan, Meno & Air: Depart Lombok

We had a great time with Yansen and April, from the Bale Laut Team! They were very kind and attentive with us. We went on private tour, so we had the boat to ourselves which was awesome. The captain and the diver were also really nice. We rent a gopro and it was tottaly worth it (I recomend to rent one if you don't have any) and it was 300k IDR. The diver took amazing pictures and videos and guide us to the fish, turtles and the underwater statue. The restaurant where we had lunch was also very nice, on the beach, and they were carefull about the food as we have some restrictions/allergies. The experience was tottaly worth it and I recommend doing it! It was 10 ⭐!!

We had a lovely day snorkelling around the Gili Islands. We really appreciated the transfer from Lombok as was the only tour we could find that offered this, and was a reasonable price. The guides took amazing pictures of the turtles and sea life, and the team was kind and helpful.

Fantastic experience. We snorkelled at all three Gillis. Saw lots of turtles, which was lucky; however, the guides and boat crew tried as hard as possible to find as many turtles for us. The guide Junaidi went above and beyond! On top of our amazing snorkelling experience, we had enough time to explore all of Gilli T! Highly recommend

We had such an amazing time on our snorkeling tour in Gili! The entire experience was wonderful from beginning to end. Our tour guides were so friendly, helpful, and attentive, and the captain of the boat was great as well. Everyone made us feel comfortable and made sure we were having the best time throughout the tour. One of the highlights was getting to swim with and see the sea turtles up close — such an unforgettable experience! 🐢🌊 Our guides also went above and beyond by taking videos of us with my GoPro while we were snorkeling, so we were actually able to enjoy the moment instead of worrying about getting footage ourselves. They also took so many beautiful pictures for us that we’ll be able to keep forever. The whole crew truly made the experience special. They were fun, professional, and genuinely wanted us to have a great time. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and I would 100% recommend this snorkeling tour to anyone visiting Gili! ❤️

This was a great tour. It was private, so we were able to tweak the tour on the day to do more of the things we wanted and less of the things we didn't want. There were 4 staff: a driver and guide who picked us up, a boat driver, and a guide for all the snorkeling. You want to leave the last stop by 3pm or it get's pretty rough on the way back. We great day and would 100% recommend this tour!

I booked a day trip tour to the three Gilis for a company outing, and I am so very happy with their service. Our tour guide truly went above and beyond to ensure that all of my colleagues’ needs were accommodated. The Bale Laut crew was also incredibly friendly and helpful, patiently assisting us with our endless questions. This is one of the best trips I have ever done globally. The team (led by Junaidi) were knowledgeable, interactive and very friendly. They couldn’t do enough for us and made a day at a beautiful location even better. I cannot recommend this enough!!! Definitely worth the money and I will be back next year to do it all again!

Junaidi and the team were very professional and fun to spend time with. We went to several spots and Alex recorded video. We had a fantastic lunch on Gili T that was included in the trip and planned ahead of time. If you want to snorkel around the Gili’s, I highly recommend this team.

There was no rush at all; we could explore beautiful places at a relaxed pace and fully enjoy every moment. A big plus was the convenient organization – we were picked up directly from our hotel, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. During the day, we were also treated to a delicious local lunch, which was a great opportunity to try regional flavors. There was also some free time, allowing us to relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings at our own pace. A great day out with Junaidi and the team. We were driven by Samsul to a small harbour and then boarded the boat for the Gilis. Great snorkelling, lots of beautiful fish and we hired a GoPro so got some fabulous pics and videos. Saw 2 turtles. The underwater statues are worth seeing, but be prepared it’s very busy!We had a lovely lunch at Nateys and went round Gili T on a horse and cart. Really enjoyed our day - thank you!

Our trip to Gili T on Thursday (9/10) was exceptional! Our guides, Yana and Dwi, were incredibly informative, outgoing, and always willing to help wherever possible. Zen/Zan, who captured our photos on the GoPro, has given us memories to treasure for a lifetime. The lunch on the island was superb — I honestly didn’t expect such high-quality food as part of an already 10/10 snorkelling trip. At the end, the girls gave us a beautiful keepsake that went far beyond any expectations for tour guides. We both found the gesture incredibly touching. Well done, and thank you for giving us such an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend booking this trip, it was worth every penny!

The tour was well organized and our guides YANA and DWI were excellent! The snorkeling, sites and activities were memorable and breathtaking!

We had an unforgettable time on our Gili Islands trip! Not only did we get to see all the islands, but we also had our photos taken up close with the fish and turtles! This was an extra charge of 200,000 rupiah (around £10) but worth every penny as the photo quality is amazing and you are guaranteed to get good photos with the sealife. Thank you to our guides (Junaidi and Samsul) who also took us to a traditional weaving village and market for no extra cost. They were very kind and informative ☺️

We had an amazing snorkeling trip around the islands near Lombok! It was a truly beautiful day, full of great experiences. We had three snorkeling sessions, and it felt like we saw all the turtles in the world – such a magical experience! The tour ended with a delicious lunch on one of the islands, followed by some free time to walk around and enjoy its stunning beauty. Our guide, Amira, was absolutely wonderful – very kind, attentive, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable sharing her love and respect to the nature and culture. We really loved this trip and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lombok

We had an amazing day out exploring the Gillis with our guide Nova! She picked all the best spots and we snorkelled for hours before stopping to wander through the markets and get some lunch (which was also delicious). We then opted to jump in for some more snorkelling before returning back to Lombok. Was definitely a trip that you could make your own with lots of flexibility to do more or less of activities as you like! And extra points for Nova and Ninningh being the sweetest people ever! Thanks to Nova and the team ✨🐠🐡

We had a wonderful time on a private jet motored wooden boat, very typical of the area. The guide (Junaidi), driver (Azwar) and agency was helpful to pick us up straight from the airport and head to snorkel. Their English was great too! Our young kids were in super attentive hands with the guide and captain watching over us to ensure we saw everything! We saw a turtle sooo close.

The day went very smoothly. Everything from the hotel pickup to the selection of snorkelling sites was excellent. They did not rush us which meant we could enjoy each site and relax on the island for lunch. Also we were the only ones on the boat so was a private tour

A fab day snorkelling around the Gili’s. Our lovely young tour guide was brilliant, as were the two boatmen. The man snorkelling with us was incredible and took so many photos for us. A great day swimming with the fish, turtles and amongst the corals.

We were lucky enough to have a private tour and thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip. Snorkeling was the highlight of course, and all the guides were very friendly and informative, taking great care to make sure we were comfortable and had the best possible tour. Definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for some fantastic snorkeling around the Gilis Islands with a transfer from directly from your hotel on Lombok.

Our guide Nofa and her driver turned up on time and were diligent re telling us what would happen during the day. On turning up at the dive centre we were pressurised into hiring a Go Pro but it’s best to bring your own so we didn’t bother. The journey to the snorkelling sites by boat is quite short - about 20 minutes and the first snorkel stop was excellent as the water was crystal clear we saw turtles and loads of fish. After about 15 minutes it was time to go and visit the next snorkel stop. This area was very crowded as it’s where the underwater statues are. Take great care as there are loads of boats and whilst I am sure the “captains” know what they are doing we felt as if we could be run over so this does take the shine off things as you are watching what the boats are doing rather than looking down at the fish! Anyway after 10 minutes or so it was off to the 3rd and final snorkel stop at Gili Trawangan. Here the snorkelling is the best of the three sites with loads of exotic fish and turtles- but again this only lasted 15 mins. So we were done snorkelling by 10.30 after being picked up from the hotel at 8am - much shorter than we expected really. We then spent maybe 2 hours on the island which is brilliant - very lively with loads of shops and bars. The trip came with lunch but we would give this a miss and buy your own- it’s really cheap on the island and the lunch provided - well let’s say we have had much better! After lunch it was back on the boat for 20 minutes then in the car back to the hotel where we arrived about 1.30. I think the trip is advertised as being 4-8 hours so including transport it’s at the shorter end of the scale. We have done loads of snorkelling trips over the years and this was by far the shortest and least value for money. Positives - our guide was lovely and very polite and helpful plus you do see loads of fish and turtles - Gili Trawangan is also great. Negatives - not the best value for money, snorkel stops are too short and lunch provided is poor. Hence the average rating.

We were picked up exactly on time and driven to the port in a very nice vehicle. A private speed boat than took us round the islands and gently drifted along side as we were snorkling. At the very first stop we managed to find a turtle that we followed for about 20 minutes. After this, we had quite a few other snorkelling stops, including the famous statues, and then over a wreck. After we had had enough of snorkelling we headed to the islands and had time to shop, followed by lunch. Our guide and the boat let us alter the itinerary to suit ourselves. It was a fantastic day and I would recommend it to anyone. Lunch was an absolute feast, so definitely starve yourself at breakfast.

Our tour guide was amazing and certainly contributed to what was a fantastic day! Easy to find right at the port, very, very friendly and good communication! Took us to his great air conditioned care - can seat 8 - with a driver. Somewhat long ride but the experience of scooters, driving and sites made it a fabulous part of the trip! Amazing snorkelling - best I have done! Meno was crystal clear and shallow - stay there as long as your day allows! Lunch at Gili beach T was incredible! Experience with the guide, helper, captain - #1 tour! Highly recommend!

We were lucky to be blessed with such great weather and clear waters! Our driver, Anas was very nice and accommodating. He snorkeled with us and made sure to bring us to the best spots, was even looking out for sea turtles for us and we got to see and touch so many! Overall, a really memorable experience for us both - highly recommend!

Our trip was brilliant 👏 we really enjoyed ourselves, did some fab snorkelling, all 3 boats men were so kind, our snorkelling guide took some excellent footage on our own go pro , but if you don't have one you can pay extra for theirs (well worth doing) our driver Oban was lovely and great fun 😀 highly recommended

Personal touch - had tour to ourselves. Picked up from cruise ship. Our guide was waiting for us as arranged. Very friendly and helpful. Lots of freedom to choose what we wanted to do on the trip. Plenty of information about the island

Great day trip touring through 3 islands and snorkelling! We got to see an array of fish and our snorkelling guide was so adamant we see turtles and we got to swim and capture photos with two! The team for the day were amazing! From our guide Nova, our driver, our snorkelling guide and boat driver. The itinerary didn’t exactly match what was advertised on the trip advisor but that’s what makes it perfect, because it was a private tour you can shorten it exactly how you’d like, we shortened the snorkelling in some areas thus we weren’t able to include sunset viewing but it was a such a highlight for our Lombok trip

Wonderful excursion! Even in the rain the trip over to the Gillis was exciting. The snorkeling was fun and the crew made us feel safe and still enjoyed the dive.

We had a great time during the whole day Gili Snorkeling tour. We were picked up at 8.30 by bapak Nathan. He was part of the crew along with bapak Mawan and mas Adi. All were really great and helpful! Bapak Nathan contacted us the day before our trip and ensured everything was ready. We were also able to ask to make a couple of stops before arriving on the jetty check point. Morever, we were able to have our snorkelling teip recorded with a GoPro recorded by mas Adi! Expert swimmer/diver/videographer! We had a great lunch and Natys, Gili Trawangan! Fresh tuna and the sambal Dabu2, one of our favourite. Then we biked around Gili Trawangan for 2 hours and had a fantastic time. Thank you Bale Laut and all crews for making our first time in Lombok really great!!

We booked our tour a few days in advance. They responded very quick and gave us a list of options to choose from and extra information. We choose the tour to the 3 gili’s. Our guide Nasri came to pick us up at the hotel. On the way, he told us a lot about Lombok and the Gili’s. He also learned dutch, so we could speak in our own language to him, which we thought was very cool. We took the boat to the gili’s with a captain and a local guide. Our local guide showed us so many beautiful spots and fishes. He searched for turtles and took such nice video’s with the GoPro. At Gili Meno, Nasri told us about how the locals help the baby turtles and showed us around. After that we went to Gili T. We had great lunch and strolled around. We had such a great experience! Thank you Nasri, we loved every minute!

Decent trip. Did not see any turtles which was a shame and could have had a bit more help/advise on snorkeling as not done before. That said great day.
