Ekas Surf & Kitesurfing Resort

I had the best week at Ekas surf resort! The place has a lovely community/ family feel to it and I feel lucky to have been apart of it. Andy is a great surf instructor, very knowledgeable and flexible to all different needs. Make sure to get Jalal as your surf guide! He is the best. He was super kind and supportive to me and also others in the water. Even helping my friends and other surfers when I was paddling back out. There is a great community feeling to this place, I already miss it!

I traveled from Kuta, about an hour and fifteen minutes away, hoping to kite with them. I came in without big expectations, knowing conditions in kitesurfing can be unpredictable. We arrived, had lunch with my friend, and then I headed to the beach for the session. The instructor, Ramy, advised against going out, explaining the conditions that day would've been risky for my level. I really appreciated that honesty, putting safety first isn't a given everywhere. Even though I couldn't kite, the staff was super kind and seemed to genuinely acknowledge the effort of coming all that way, even though it wasn't their fault the wind didn't cooperate. Ramy in particular came across as very knowledgeable and attentive, even though I never got to actually ride with him, he kept messaging me in the following days with updates on his availability and the wind forecast, trying to find a good window. Unfortunately it never lined up during my stay, but the professionalism and care shown deserve a good review.

I did a kitesurf course at Ekas Serf Resort. I had a great and wonderful experience. Ramy, the instructor, was professional and gave me the safest and best feeling possible. Many thanks also to Melissa and Dave who helped me with everything I needed and answered all my questions before the course. Of course, everything was done there with a smile and a willingness to help. I definitely recommend anyone who wants to learn how to kitesurf to go to Ekas Serf Resort.

My wife and I stayed here for about a week and we can't recommend this place enough... It really exceeded our expectations from the very first second. The place is owned by Melisa and Dave that are two big hearts. They are lovely people that built up an accommodation with surf and kitesurf school, great facilities, great management, great staff, great team, great comfort and unbeatable guest service. They can assit you prior arrival and help with transfers if needed, you can even rent here a motorcycle and go around Ekas to explore the peninsula at your own pace. The best was the BBQ!!!. Thanks thanks thanks, bbq is the perfect moment to meet people, really nice. Thanks Dave dude 🫶🏼. Don't forget to try the sauces!!! Breakfast is great also. Delicious, the menu has a bit of everything to make happy everybody, and there are also some other places and warungs located nearby. Beeeeeeeeeeer. 🍻 🍻 🍻 Plenty of beer, gasoline is always available if you need a cold beer and the swimming pool is the perfect!!! All is cool here. Even if you're not stsying in-house you're also welcome to the restaurant. 5* is actually very short for this place. Thanks again to everybody. Big hands up for the lovely staff of this place. We hope to be back anytime in the future. Big regards also to the multidisciplinary international team of kitesurf and surf instructors, they add so much to the experience. More things, I almost forget to mention. The kitespot is great, I found out the low tide gives less chopi conditions and going to the East Side of the break you will find flat water with an amazing period. One thousand stars for the spot. And Dave is a guy who makes a fish BBQ in the beach ⛱️ and then you go kitesurfing again dude!!! Can you believe it? Insane. Thanks again Cheers! 🍻
