Hotel and staff are very nice and only sad part was no food suitable for kids however mcdonalds was only up the road. Also, check out the singing frogs in the lake behind which was rather special and go ape tree adventure is only minutes by walking.

Air conditioning was broken, but the breakfast was decent. My stay here was a bit disappointing. The air conditioning in the room was completely broken and didn't work at all, which made for a rather uncomfortable night's sleep. While the AC issue was a major letdown, the breakfast the next morning was decent—the variety and taste met basic expectations. I hope the hotel will actively inspect and repair their AC units, as a comfortable sleeping environment is the most essential part of a hotel stay.
On Google, it shows a beautiful castle like hotel but when you arrive, it’s NOTHING like the photos!!! The hotel needs a lot of renovation. We booked a Luxe Room and there was no bathing soap when we arrived, the toilet was stinking, there was no AC. It was super hot in the night and we had to open the windows but it’s noisy outside. The breakfast wasn’t super good but not bad either. They lack a bit of staff in the morning because there were so many people in the breakfast room but only one person helping everyone. Overall it’s a hotel you’d go to if you really don’t have any other option
Hotel was easy to find, very quiet, green location. Extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful reception. Room is simple but well equipped and spotless. We dined in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Service, food, cheeses and wines were so good. We will definitely return.
The hotel is in a beautiful tranquil location especially if you like walking or are bringjng your dogs. It is well located too close to Aldi and a cheap petrol station. It has a pool, sauna and jacuzzi which are generally good. Sometimes understandably there are local aerobic classes in half of the pool so you might have to ask about that. The breakfasts were good and generally the staff were friendly. The air conditioning system as other reviews have alluded to was inconsistent. The vents on the ducted system in my room were broken and so the airflow was poor. I suspect previous clients had tried correctly to adjust the vents to face upwards in the summer not knowing the vents are fixed. Also and incredibly annoyingly when you booked for more than one night and indeed late check out the computer ( or so the computer says no staff said) doesn't recognise this and so at midday every day if you do not check out your room key is cancelled meaning you have to walk to reception in your swimming pool robe dripping wet to ask for your card to be reactivated. Could you believe this from a 4 star hotel ?
