Le Manoir Saint Thomas

3 star hotel not 4 good location wooden structure w lots of floor noise at night noisy rooms if you’re a light sleeper

I stayed at this magnificent hotel with my wife and it was a fabulous experience! The place is magic, full of history, charme and fascination. The rooms are big and comfy and the garden is very pretty. They also offer a charging station for electric cars. But the difference was made by Bertrand who took care of us from beginning to the end: he is charming, attentive, lovely and always in a good mood ! I wish all the hotels had a Bertrand because he is one reason for me to consider to visit Amboise and the Loire valley area and definitely stay at the Saint Thomas Manor. Thank you very much Bertrand !

Wonderful stay in Amboise! The hospitality is absolutely delightful and we were treated very well by the staff! The room was a great size and we appreciated the A/C which kept the room cool during the heat wave. You are in walking distance of everything in Amboise and there is a place to park your bikes. We also very much enjoyed the pool!

Excellent customer service, comfortable beds, and great location to all the local sites. This is a boutique hotel, with beautifully furnished rooms, and the kind of attention to detail that is increasingly rare these days and makes you feel cared for. They arranged a driver to pick us up from the train station, brought food to my son when he was ill, and even filled our water bottles when they were empty. There’s a small bar onsite and a gourmet food truck outside under a gazebo. Though our French was limited, we were never made to feel anything but honored guests at this establishment. I hope I can come back one day!
