Hotel Anne D'anjou,the Originals Collection

We loved this hotel nestled conveniently below the chateau within walking distance. Staff were courteous and very helpful. Views of the river were also lovely, and I savored morning walks along the river and in town. Our room was quite large, and the king size bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

Hôtel Anne d’Anjou is in a beautiful setting right on the Loire, below Château de Saumur. The location was convenient for exploring both the château and the old town on foot, and the historic building added to the charm of our stay. The elevator was broken during our visit, but the staff carried our luggage for us, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was nice and made a pleasant start to the day. A well-located hotel for exploring Saumur, with helpful staff who made the inconvenience of the broken elevator easier to manage.

This is our second visit to this fabulous 👌 hotel. On our first visit we stayed in a lovely attic room so lovely, we stayed a second night and treated ourselves to a suite overlooking the Chateau amazing. This visit we stayed in a family room as that was all that was left, again amazing. The hotel is spotless and the staff are amazing nothing is to much trouble. There is a tranquil terrace with a lovely rose 🌹 garden with loungers over looking the Chateau. Fabulous 👌

Clean compact room with views over Loire. Friendly and informative reception, good breakfast and well-priced drinks. Pleasant and quiet garden space. Didn't have time make use of pool and spa facilities. Very good location, close to chateau and town centre with numerous places to eat and drink. Good value hotel
