Such a picturesque view from our room here. It is extremely beautiful and the room is comfortable and well equipped. The ensuite is fabulous too - which I find to be the most important in a hotel room. The staff are all wonderful. Ditto for the food. And a special shout out to the lovely Justine, who was so very helpful - she even carried a big bag up the stairs without being asked to. Thanks heaps, Justine - you’re an absolute legend.

Good location and friendly professional staff. If you want a base to explore Loch Lomond and surrounding are this is a good choice. Walking can be from the doorstep although for the well known peaks you will have to drive - no bad thing when the scenery is as spectacular as this! Relaxing bar and restaurant which are reasonable.
Absolutely stunning location with gorgeous views and I loved being able to easily walk down to the loch 😍 The food was mostly brilliant. I had the split pea soup which was scrumptious — perfectly seasoned and actually served at the perfect temperature. Also had the beetroot, feta and tomato salad and the Korean chicken, both really good. The sirloin steak was cooked perfectly, but unfortunately about three quarters of it was just too chewy to eat. They handled it really well though and gave me a cocktail as an apology 🍹 Breakfast was delicious with loads of great options, and the service throughout was polite, friendly and really warm. A lovely stay in a beautiful spot ❤️
Great value, had an epic view of Loch Lomond while eating my full Scottish breakfast which was included with our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Loved staying in such a historical building while enjoying modern conveniences. We had a great stay.
This place is a tourist trap - Junior Suite in a "four star" hotel with no blackout provision in the bedroom, and the hotel considers this acceptable. Sunrise at this location on 14 June is approximately 4:28am BST. The room was flooded with full daylight. I could not sleep in the bedroom and moved to the sofa in the lounge section of the suite. The lounge has full blackout curtains the bedroom has paper blinds. That is genuinely difficult to explain. Loch Lomond in June experiences only 3 to 4 hours of complete darkness. The sky begins to lighten well before 4am and does not fully darken until after 10:30pm. Blackout should be an absolute necessity especially for a "four star" hotel lol, absolute joke. The towels also had an unpleasant odour, almost as if it had been previously used. I raised this separately in the complaint and although noted it was not accepted by the hotel. Due to not being able to sleep and dirty towels I would not recommend this hotel at all. Keep driving Loch Lomond has much more to offer.
