Ujin, our tour guide was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, informative, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He took such great care of everyone and made sure we were safe and comfortable throughout the journey. Despite the rainy weather, he went the extra mile to look after us, especially during the slippery parts of our walk to the falls. He also adjusted the itinerary to make the most of the weather, and what a wonderful surprise it turned out to be! We were treated to a magical combination of snow-covered mountains and stunning autumn foliage 🍁❄️ — two seasons in one breathtaking view! It was truly special and something we will remember for a long time. Highly recommended this tour!!!!!!

We had a wonderful experience, the trip was amazing and I would definitely recommend it. Our guide Vanessa (Nicha) was a brilliant guide, very informative, friendly and so helpful.
Great day out! Soca Valley is breathtaking. Just a fantastic day
Great experience! Guide Maja was very well informed, made it a lot of fun. And was also very helpful.
Fantastic day! Amazing scenery! Wonderful guide! ... While this is a long day, it is well worth it. From start to finish, the day was well organized and so much fun. We lucked out with some fantastic weather - not too hot and no rain. The scenery in this part of Slovenia is just amazing. Our guide was so knowledgeable about Slovenia and was more than happy to share it with us. Very glad that I booked this tour.
We had a really nice day seeing the beauty of Slovenia with a very knowledgeable and personable guide.
Absolutely stunning views but excessive driving makes you think if it was worth it. Guide needs to polish her English even though she was knowledgeable and fun.
Excellent day out, with nice walk to a waterfall, some swimming opportunities in the valley (if can handle the cold water) and great views almost everywhere you go. Jiga (not sure on spelling) was an excellent guide with plenty of information at every stop, very safe driving and clear instructions.
It was a long but good day. We saw a lot of nature, waterfalls, rivers, lakes and got a glimpse of the beautiful landscape of Slovenia. Our tour guide was personable and it was a very pleasant experience.
Beautiful scenery. Excellent guides. Wear good walking or hiking shoes. It's a long day but worth it.
Great tour, safe driver, lots of history, beautiful views, tasty trout for lunch. Strongly recommended!
Beautiful scenery, relaxed pace, great guide. We enjoyed several stops which included hiking to a beautiful waterfall.
So glad I booked this tour & was able to experience the beauty of Slovenia! Our guide was fantastic, she was very knowledgeable & friendly. She was clearly very passionate about the places we went to. Every place we stopped at was just incredible. We even got to stop at an extra location as we had some time left. I would definitely recommend this tour & would certainly look into the other tours that this company has to offer. Only posting one photo as I don't want to spoil it for other travellers considering the tour!
This was an amazing experience! It is impossible to capture the beauty of the sights, even in photos. I want to give special recognition to our guide Ožbe, for his patience and for helping me on some of the more difficult areas of the trail. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Our Guide, Lan, conducted a very interesting tour of the Soca valley with information on geography, a world war and demographics. We explored a tributary and waterfall. Traversing a narrow mountain pass was also exciting.
Great experience with the tour. Although it was a long day, we covered many places. The Soca Valley is beautiful.
This is a long trip, with multiple sites included. However, our tour guide Kolja made it all very engaging and fun, with his passionate expositions on Slovenian history and folklore! Even though it rained for the latter half of the day, the places we visited like Soca Valley and Kranjska Gora were stunning. Slovenia has a wild unspoilt beauty, without trimmings, which make it really uplifting to experience. Kolja was young, fun, and at the same time, paid a lot of attention to individual needs and adapted the itinerary to the weather. I highly recommend this tour. We carried energy bars and trail mix to cover for the long rides.
Nature is beautiful and tour guides are great. I enjoyed my time there. Recommend it to all travelers
This is a whole day tour of the Soča Valley and Kranjska Gora Valley. The tour involves a lot of travelling by bus, which can be quite long - nearly 2 hours to arrive in Soča. There is a short 1 hour hike (there and back) to view the beautiful waterfall in Soča, and this was honestly the best part of the tour. After this, the guide drove us to poins of interest, including places where the film Narnia was filmed, popular swimming points, and a couple of lakes. There was a 2-hour lunch break which was needed to refresh and take a break. The guide asked if we wanted suggestions for a restaurant, however to be honest I did not like the food and the wait for the food took long at the restaurant he suggested. The views at the locations we went were beautiful. The tour is a good way to see many of the places as going there by bus would waste more time.
Great trip along the Soca river. Our guide George did a great job breaking the ice between the passengers too, and also kept us well involved during the long drives by tellings us about Slovenian history, the history of the locations we passed by and so on.
Amazing views. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. Well worth the money. It's a long time in a minibus but definitely worth it - I still managed 19000 steps! There are rest spots - photo opportunities as well
I would highly recommend the Soca Valley Tour and Kranjska Gora Valley tour. Our guide, Tillian, was fantastic and provided us with interesting information about Slovenia and the various mountains in this beautiful country! We visited stunning waterfalls, rivers and lakes, and they took us to the top of the mountain which was spectacular! The driver was also fantastic navigating the winding roads as well as the cyclists!
The guide was really friendly, clear communication, gave great facts about Slovenia, clear pick up points and always on time. Soča was fantastic, the driving was good, a bit sketchy on the pass, I think they should use automatic vehicles as it was a hard part to drive in a half bus, but the driver was lovely and friendly given the circumstances. I would highly recommend this tour. It’s defo an all day tour so be prepared for a fab long day! 8am-6:30pm but we were totally fine with this as we knew it was a full day tour experiencing beautiful places in Slovenia.
We picked the Soča Valley tour and Kranjska Gora Valley tour which is a 10 hour day covering stunning areas of Slovenia. We are a family party of four adults and then four other people made up the group of eight. We had the most wonderful trip this week with our driver, Jožef from ‘To Do in Slovenia’. He was very friendly and a good driver, we felt very safe in his capable hands. He had great knowledge of the areas we visited and kept us entertained with stories and information about Slovenian history, industry, traditions, culture, legends, war history and much more, all with a great sense of humour. He was happy to answer all our questions. It was a very hot day but the transport was air conditioned and the tour was paced well with comfort, refreshment and lunch stops spread between visiting all the stops on the tour. Jožef offered us extra water when needed and nothing was too much trouble. The places we visited were some of the most beautiful we have seen, I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. Alongside visiting the stunning river valleys you visit the Kozjac waterfall. You need good soles on your trainers or hiking shoes. I myself have dodgy knees, but I was able to do all the walking and it is easily accessible with a hiking pole if you need it. There is the opportunity of swimming in the river of the Soča valley alongside the Slovenians who have a wonderful time on hot days relaxing in the cool waters. So bring your ‘cozzie’. For us it was a lovely way to cool down, some of my family had a swim, I dipped my feet in and it was refreshing and good fun. The tour includes the treat of travelling the Vrśič Pass with its 50 hairpin bends. Thanks to our great driver no one was ill, but do bear in mind to take your travel sickness tablets or travel bands if you are a little uneasy about that. Even in this, the tour gives you a break or two just in case you need it, stopping at views of majestic mountains with a legend attached and the beautiful yet thought provoking sight of the Russian church. Before heading back to Ljubljana, you get to visit the beautiful lake Jasna. I cannot praise this tour enough, there’s lots to see so be prepared to hop out the minivan regularly, spend a bit of time to take in the views and pop back in the transport ready for the next delight. This is a must do trip if you want to get to see the beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers that Slovenia has to share.
What a great tour guide. He was a young man, only 21 years old but very welcoming, informative and a wonderful driver. This trip involves a lot of travelling and some very rural roads up the mountain pass. Loved getting out of the city and definitely worth seeing
It’s beautiful but high paced. We went to a lot of places, it was amazing to see. But i personally would prefer more time to really take it all in.
Amazing stops and the guide was amazing and knew lots! The sights were stunning and I learnt a lot I wanted to ask about.
Very enjoyable tour even though it was 10hrs it passed really quick. All stops were the correct time.
Very nice day! Beautiful sights, that looked just like the pictures. Many stops, but still a perfect mix of driving and stopping for views etc. Mario was an excellent guide – very friendly and considerate! Knowledgeable and patient with questions throughout the day. The first (short) stop was after about 1,5 hours. Stunning views and an option to buy coffee or icecream. There was an hour break for lunch in a small town. Plenty of options for lunch and getting things at the super market etc. The initial part of the ride can be challenging for the carsick. Bring a sick bag and take some anti car sickness pills to be on the safe side. Ride in the front! Option to swim/dip your feet in a cold, but beautiful stream and a lake. Change into swimwear then or wear underneath your clothing.
What a great tour, incredible views and locations, very knowledgeable guide and overall great atmosphere. Vasco was a great guide, really caring, talkative and fun. Also he has great vocals! Really enjoyed this tour and I could not recommend it more! Greeting from Lithuania!
Beautiful views, great story telling along the way. Refreshing water for a paddle. 'Hike' is a loose term. More of a walk with vigor. Sun protection recommended. Bring lunch if you're fussy, but time given to purchase and heat. Water needed. 13 people on the bus but crowds at the attractions. We had poor weather over the mountain pass but it added a different vibe. Would recommend.
An excellent tour , right from pick up to drop off. Would highly recommend the tour to Soca Valley. The pick up was prompt and very timely: it’s a very well organised set up. Our guide, Anya, was friendly, passionate and very knowledgable about the area. It’s a tour that takes the entire day. Chances to swim in the valley, which was refreshing given that it was a warm day.
We had a wonderful day trip to the Soca valley with a wonderful guide. Though the duration was long, the trip was so well planned we didn’t feel tired at the end of the day. The stops and the walks were at the right places. Wonderful trip
Amazing tour with well chosen stops. Igor was a great and friendly guide too!
Most memorable partnof the experience where the breath taking views. Stress free rides to and from the different locations, even when it started raining we still deftly rode down the mountain slopes. What was most enjoyable was the amicable guide Tilen and his vast knowledge he was willing to share with us. But what we enjoyed the most was the nature all around, clean and serene.
We had an absolutely amazing tour guide, Klara. I believe this was her first tour too! The extreme heat was so unbearable, but Klara’s energy really helped push us through. She also gave excellent recommendations on the best photo spots at each site so we didn’t have to waste energy finding them in the heat. She was also pointed out random beautiful views along the way and spot if we had asked, which unfortunately led to getting back later than expected but the pictures were will worth it! Highly recommend doing this tour and if you get Klara, you’ll be in great hands!
Great whole day trip despite the heat. Our guide Jurek was very knowleadgable and spoke very good English. The tour was well planned with enough breaks. The Kozjac waterfall stop was the only hike and mostly flat but good trekking shoes are recommended. Soca river was very beautiful, water cold but also refreshing. Mountain pass serpenine road amazing. I would not recommend to people who get travel sicness since the route has a lot of sharp turns and going up&down
The tour ran from 8 am until around 6:30pm when we were dropped off at the hotel. Pickup is offered at your choice of 3 hotels, so it’s very convenient. The tour guide we had, Borat (not sure I spelled it right) was a skilled narrator about all the places we visited , plus Slovenian history. And he shared a lot about both current and past times, inviting us to ask any questions we had. There were 8 guests total in our van, from many parts of the world. We were lucky with the sunny day we had. The scenery was stunning! We really got to see a lot. We even had a chance to dip our feet into the freezing cold river, so refreshing on this rare hot day. And we loved that we got to do a bit of hiking- easy for us, but don’t wear flip flops!
This was a great day out made even more enjoyable by our brilliant guide, Veronica. Her energy, enthusiasm and knowledge of the area made for a fantastic experience. Yes, there is quite a lot of driving involved but the opportunity to see beautiful rivers and lakes, spectacular views and waterfalls and be out in the stunning Slovenian countryside more than made up for it, A day out not to be missed.
We saw beautiful countryside and our guide was very pleasant and informative. There was quite a bit of uphill walking to the waterfall which might be difficult for some people.
Magnificent mountains, beautiful lakes, spectacular waterfalls. Luka is an excellent driver and a very good guide. He maintained the desired balance between talking and giving the participants time to rest. I highly recommend this tour.
The singing tour guide made the experience a 10/10. He was very knowledgeable about all things Slovenia and history, and was so fun. He definitely made sure we had a great time and the beautiful rivers and alps.
George was an excellent guide for our trip to the Julian Alps and back. It was a long day, but absolutely worth it. I really appreciated the small group. Every stop offered beautiful lakes, rivers, gorges, and waterfalls. The historic sites were fascinating, and the alpine scenery was stunning. It was a magical day, and I would gladly do it again.
Beautiful drive into the countryside and up into the mountains. Green, green, green. A good hike, although not that challenging if you are a hiker. You get a taste of the possibilities. Beautiful mountain peaks jutting up. Very good guide. However, the last stop at some small lake was a half hour waste of time n
Great day out Maja was a fabulous guide and a beautiful person. Fabulous scenery. Snow on the mountains spectacular and Soca Valley is a must see
The Soca Valley is incredibly beautiful. The water is so clear. While it rained most of the day, our tour guide was amazing and made the most of it.
Despite the weather being absolutely miserable and it was raining until 1pm and it snowed in high elevations what stopped us from seeing the waterfall, we really enjoyed this tour. I don’t remember our tour guide’s name but he was determined to make the best of the horrible rainy day. He told us so much about Slovenia, the culture, history, politics, infrastructure, geography, cuisine etc. It was very interesting. We went to the WWI museum. We really liked it. It was in a little village. We had a few minutes free time there so we walked around in the rain and cold. The mountains were covered in clouds but here and there you could see some and I must say we took some pretty good snaps there. Then we drove over the high elevations pass across to Italy and back. It was slightly clearing by then but there was rather a lot of snow on roads which was fun 🤭 we stopped for lunch in another village with pretty views. Then we went to Kranjska Gora. What a beautiful place and lake. We loved it. We have beautiful pictures from there. On the way back to Ljubljana, the skies cleared and we had outstanding views of the Alps. Overall, despite the cold, rain and snow we had a wonderful time on this trip. Thank you.
Lovely guide today. Kolja was so informative and polite! I felt very safe with his excellent driving. It was a great day, despite the rain. Slovenia is beautiful and I hope to come back and enjoy all the beautiful nature again!
Absolutely loved our guide, very kind and knowledgeable! We got to drive to so many landmarks, it was nice to fit so much into one day without ever feeling rushed. I also enjoyed the small group size (8 people), we all got to know each other and had so much fun. Highly recommend!
