Guide Urban was full of knowledge and stories about the city. He walked us around Ljubijana so that we were almost always in predestion areas. Great passion for the architecture and also full of jokes.

Great tour of Ljubliana! We started in the main square and moved in a large circle through the downtown area learning the history of this great European capital datng back to the time of the Roman empire through the Austro-Hungarian Empire, through its status as one of the republics of Yugoslavia, to its independent status today! We visited castles, churches, and even sampled classic Slovenian cuisine! Great way to spend the morning.
Highlights- Alternative commune, Roman wall, History of Slavenia, Church doors, architectural history. Cafe in City Hall.
Overall a very poor experience. Guide was very knowledgeable but could not effectively communicate the wonderful culture and history of this area. Significantly overcharged for this tour given the many tours we have taken
Urbano was PUNCTUAL, knowledgable and very nice and easy to be with. The walking is easy and so very interesting.
We had a wonderful time and learn a lot about Ljubljana and Slovenia’s history, fun facts and secrets of the city. Perfect for families with teenagers and young adults, we walked around 6/7 km in total.
Tina is an amazing tour guide - very hard working, educational and fun! Ljubjlana wasn't even on our list 6 months ago, but we are so glad we went. Our only regret is that we only had 4 hours instead of 3 or 4 days. My wife and I hope to get back to Slovenia next year to see even more of this beautiful country. Rest assured, we hope that Tina will be available to lead us. She is easily our favorite all time guide and we highly recommend gotoslovenia.com
Our guide was very flexible, well informed, educated and friendly. We are very satisfied with the city tour.
Primoz was a great guide. This was our first private guide experience ever, and it was a great way to kick off our trip to Slovenia. He showed us so many key sites in Ljubljana, answered countless questions, and took into account the varied ages and interests of our group. We learned so much! Primoz was the perfect ambassador to welcome us to Slovenia, set the tone for our visit, and inspire an affection and respect for the Slovenian people and nation.
Matt provided great insite to Ljubljana in many ways as well as insight into the local people, food and culture. He communicated well and was a joy to spend time with.
We had the best time with Mojca! She was accommodating when we had a border delay, accommodating when we needed an extra layer or two, and amazingly kind and giving throughout the day. She took us to see many, many great sites, helped us find the perfect strawberries in the market, and even joined us for glass of wine at the end of our trip. We felt spoiled, but we're most thankful we felt like friends!
The roman wall was fascinating and the church we saw was beautiful. Overall our guide was very informative and answered all our questions. Lovely experience
Perfect tailor made visit of the town , with so many historic notions always told in a very interesting way !!!
Really nice and knowledgeable guide. Gave lots of information and was patient with our kids of various ages. And Ljubljana is a beautiful city!
It was an amazing tour, I was taken around the whole city and all the different neighborhoods, pictures of how the biggest squares looked in the past were shown. Definitely a must in this beautiful city, it gets all the sightseeing done in no time. I was also shown nice places to visit and hiking trails.
Primož is such a lovely guy and extremely knowledgeable and engaging and the cycle tour around Ljunljana opened my eyes to the parts of the city that would have passed me by. Hvala
Although it was due to weather condition, it was a bit hard to walk 3 hours without a pause. The tour itself was enjoyable with a very friendly guide.
Really comprehensive tour of the city. Even if you have to walk the all time Ljubljana is small so you do not fell it so much. Tina, our guide, was amazing and we add a great afternoon and laughs all together. For sure recommended if you want s more comprehensive and relaxing time without crowds
Ljubljana Fantastic city and Diana exceptional guide! Half day tour with walk in the historic center
