Highlights Of Slovenia - Postojna & Bled (Tickets Included)

This was a super full day and we enjoyed it immensely. Pricey but worth it because it is wow. Our guide Luka was extremely knowledgable and I would give him all the stars. We had no idea what to expect but the caves were just breathtaking. No words to explain it really - go see for yourselves!! 🇨🇦

Pick up times er on time. The tour guide and the driver are friendly and nice and they give precise directions. The highlights of slovenia package time limited . You will have little time to eat and enjoy the view, but we understand that the three locations and the travel time must be compressed in a twelve hour tour. The full day is really enough if you are not going with small children. Luckily my child loves hiking and use walk long distances. I highly advise to eat a heavy breakfast before the tour and bring snacks specially when you have little ones with you. Other than that the tour is really worth it. I Highly recommended this tour with To do in Slovenia.

One of the highlights of my visit to Slovenia. From the moment the tour began, everything was exceptionally well organized, professional, and delivered with genuine passion for showcasing the beauty and culture of Slovenia. The guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a memorable experience. What impressed me most was the balance between iconic sights and local insights. Rather than simply visiting attractions, we were given a deeper appreciation for the history, stories, and natural beauty that make Slovenia such a remarkable destination.

This was a wonderful day trip. Our guide, Barbara, was professional and took care of her guests. The castle is fun to explore. Who doesn't love a castle? The cave is absolutely amazing. The train ride is 2km in and the best part is after your guided tour you get to ride the train out again. It is just incredible. There is also an underground post office/gift shop, so you can mail yourself or family/friends a postcard from there. Plenty of shops above ground too as well as food and restrooms. We then went onward to Lake Bled and the color of the water is stunning. You visit Bled Castle (so 2 castles in a day) and get to try the famous creme cake. There is an optional boat ride on the lake to the island, but we chose to walk around part of the lake and town. We did not tell Barbara, but she made our 43rd anniversary a lovely memory. Thank you.

Indeed we saw the highlights of Slovenia. Both castles, the lake and the caves were excquisite !!! With the Van we felt like private tour which made our experience even more satisfying. Our driver and guide Lucas was with great sense of humour and very well educated and provided us plenty information during the way about everything. Additionally he was excellent driver.

Got off to a rocky start as the pick up was at 8am, not 7.30am and then a bus came and was full so we waited for another. The actual activities were fabulous, the castle, lake bled, the caves, all amazing. We loved the whole day and would recommend it highly. The only things we would change is the start issue and be aware you may have to wait until there is space on the minibus. And there is an optional boat part at lake bled and because onw couple chose to do this, we all had our time cut short and waited for them which wasnt ideal or fair, so it would be good if it was built in or out of tour as the optional part can create timing issues for those not doing it. Other than that, it was wonderful!

Luka was excellent guide. He gave us amazing amount of information not only about places we visited, but also about Ljubljana and Slovenia. All places is worth visiting. And one can swim in lake Bled even if it is not summer.

A full day of activities, with a fantastic tour guide who put the group at ease by being very accommodating and relaxed. My wife and I travelled during the winter months but despite the rain and cloud, it was a fun experience. The tour guide had umbrellas to offer if needed and allowed flexibility when we arrived in Bled.

Everything was just amazing! Many thanks to our wonderful guide Klemen, who explained us in very detail and funny ways all about Slovenian culture and regions. It was a lot of fun! Definitely recommend to everyone who wants to visit Slovenia!

An absolute humdinger of a tour and tour guide! The sights were beautiful of course - one cannot visit Slovenia and not do these sites, almost like a rite of passage for any tourist visiting Slovenia. Despite the rain, it was a spectacular tour made even more fabulous by our brilliant guide, Kaja (or Kaia, i’m not sure if i spelt it correctly). She was very engaging and conscientious, taking a deep interest in making sure we were all taken care of, interactions were welcomed, conversations flowed easily and everyone fell into a comfortable camaraderie during the tour, friendships formed! She also shared a great deal of insights about the country and its people and customs and offered recommendations that were right on the money! I had a fabulous day and would do it all over again! Thank you, Kaja!

Truly enjoyed the entire day - caves were extraordinary; castles were rich with history and Lake Bled was remarkable even on a cloudy day! Our guide Luca was fun, full of energy and shared a remarkable amount of knowledge. He made Slovenia come alive!

We had a great time would recommend to everyone visiting Slovenia. The caves are truly a wonder and Bled is beautiful and the Castle tour was amazing! Our tour guide Darja and her cousin Tomasz our driver were great.

We had a great full-day tour visiting Bled in the morning and Predjama castle/the Postojna cave in the afternoon. With two kids in tow, we were a little concerned about the 11-hour timespan, but the day flew by. Our guide, Lara, kept our group comfortable and informed the entire day and somehow managed not to repeat any facts over that whole span. We learned so much in a fun and relaxing atmosphere, and had incredible family experiences we'll never forget. I highly recommend this tour company!

Great experience, everything taken care of by Emma and Vladar (?), brief but ample introduction to Slovenian history and culture. All points of the tour on time with enough breaks in between. Would recommend!

All the tours in this day long excursion were great. Here is the problem...we were picked up at 8 am and returned at 730 pm. Long day and no scheduled time for lunch....we returned to Ljubljana around 1230 to drop off some people and pick up more before taking off to lake bled. Had we known there would be no break for lunch we would have brought sandwiches earlier to eat during this time. It's was essentially 2 tours combined.

Both the caves and Lake Bled are a must visit. The tour was organised well, and would do again. Our guide Darja, was friendly and informative.

The tour to Predjama Castle, the caves, and Bled was phenomenal! Our guide, David, was amazing, he is such a very personable, informed, and kind man. The sites are amazing and this tour is worth every penny and then some!

Really good tour, the guide David was great. It is a long day though and in hindsight I would do Bled one day and the caves and castle another day. In the caves you are advised to wear a warm jacket and shoes as it gets cold. Saw a few people that didnt do that and they were really cold by the end. Its 90 mins, tbh an hour would be plenty but it worth doing.

No complaints! Everything went smoothly and there were no problems. There was plenty of time to check out the sights, not once did we feel that we would've been in a hurry. This was a great way to see other parts of Slovenia and not just Ljubljana. Our guide was very nice and spoke good English. It was a long day (especially for my 10-year-old), but well worth it. The kid really liked it too, especially the cave which is just magical.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and our guide Benjamin!! We were 6 of 8 on this tour so it was personal and so fun. Ben was a professional! He gave us the history of the areas we drove through and was so helpful and accommodating in explaining where we were and what to expect at each place. All of the sites are definitely worth seeing and taking the time to explore. Highly recommend!

We did the Lake Bled and castle and then pistojna caves and castle. Our guide was Ziga and he was fab. We were collected on time in a clean and comfortable minivan, Ziga was friendly, informative and clearly loved his country and knew everything about it. This is such a beautiful country and we felt that Ziga’s enthusiasm and clear love of his country only enhanced it. The lake is spectacular and we had time to get one of the traditional boats to the island then it was onto the castle with tickets included for an audio tour with time for a cream cake and a coffee but in. Then onto Postojna cave castle, over an hours drive but well worth it as it is spectacular - again an audio tour included and time for a drink and a bite to eat. Lastly the actual caves with a tour lasting an hour and including a train and a walking tour. Absolutely beautiful. An all day trip but well worth it!

I was really pleased I took this tour. The sights were amazing- picture postcard! Enough time to walk around the lake. Caves were spectacular. I thought the guide would take us around the sights, but they don’t. The guides were really helpful and knowledgeable

Really enjoyable day! We left Ljubljana early to get a quiet experience at Lake Bled/the castle and it was super special. Michael was knowledgable and helpful, even providing food recommendations for when we got back to Ljubljana. A great way to see a lot of Slovenia in a day!!

Fab tour, had limited time and it was a great way to see some beautiful areas of Slovenia in one day. Our guide was brilliant, so knowledgeable and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Luca was the best!!! The trip was very nice but our guide made it even better. He was fun, intelligent, funny, and truly wanted us to have a great time. He even took photos for us at every destination. We drove to Lake Bled first. It was covered in snow and absolutely stunning. Since February is not the high season we had the castle to ourselves. We enjoyed cream cake at the restaurant with a view of the lake and then went to the island. The boat was €20 and was fun. We had 40 mins to explore the island and church. We skipped the church and just walked around. It was very relaxing. Not the highlight of the trip but something worth doing for sure. After that we went back to Ljubljana to drop off guests that did not book the full day trip and pick up new people. We then went to the castle and caves. The castle was incredible and a must-do activity. The cave was very fun and glad we got to see it. Really breathtaking. All together the trip was fantastic and we had a great time with Luca. We had some car snacks with us which was a plus since there is no time to stop for lunch and it is a long day. So pack a few snacks and book this tour. 12/10 would recommend!

Was a good experience. Unlucky for us the weather was not great for Lake Bled and mist all around. However, Castle and Caves were amazing.

Great way to see many things in a short time, we would not have needed to stay longer in any of the place we visited. Timing was perfect. Slovenia is a magnificient country and our lovely guide Tibi made it even better. He is passionate and has a lot of things to explain about his country. Even being in the car going from a place to another was cool thanks to him.

This was a brilliant day trip. All 3 locations were fantastic. Loved the castle, the caves are interesting (bit chaotic getting in, but that's not the tours fault), Lake Bled is beautiful. Highly recommend doing the pletna boat ride.

This was an absolutely fantastic tour, and I can’t recommend it enough. We were picked up on time and visited the main highlights of Slovenia esp if you have less time in Slovenia. It was worth the money, esp as it was a small group not a big bus full of tourists. Our driver and guide Luka was great- we learnt so much about Slovenian culture, history, food and way of life. We went to Postojna caves, Predjama castle and lake Bled and the lake itself. Luka was great, don’t think twice …do it!!

Simone was a lovely and very knowledgeable tour guide. The whole excursion was amazing and highly recommended it for anyone visiting Slovenia 🇸🇮. It is a must see !!

The tour was great, is a really unique experience; different to everything else. Also the guide was friendly and provided us with a lot of information about Slovenia in general. My only suggestion to those who have the time would be to split the tour, do Bled one full day and Postojna another to avoid rushing.

Our guide, "johnny, cuz he likes Johnny Cash" (sorry, can't remember his real name) was informative and energetic. He was great to get the group to know one another. He spent time with everyone and was open for questions. This area is magical and absolutely beautiful. He was a great tour guide!

I had amazing experience on this tour! It was an amazing day, and our tour guide Micah was above fantastic! He gave us so many stories and facts about Slovenia and the areas we were headed to, that the day seemed to fly by. And the caves, castles and Lake Bled were stunning. I was afraid they wouldn't live up to the hype, but they surpassed it.

I had a wonderful day on the tour. Postojna cave and Prejana castle are must visit. The are very unique and interesting. I would like to thank Bronc, our guide and driver for sharing with us the history of Slovenia. He did make sure we had a good time.

Great visits to sites! Kya was entertaining and informative about Slovenia and the various places we saw. Although somewhat cloudy, the various sites were really beautiful! Main annoying thing was the 2 hrs wasted sitting in the bus while going back to Ljubliana to drop-off and pickup people in between am and pm site visits. We could have seen all the sites and saved 2 hrs! Also, no designated time for lunch!

Fantastic tour guide & driver. The tour itself was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The views from the castle of Lake Bled were breath taking.

It was a great experience seeing Slovenia from the very top (Castles) and the very bottom (Cave). The tour guide was great and helpful! Shout out to him!

The visit to the Postonya cave was amazing, it is definetly a must if you're visiting Slovenia. Unfortunately, it started raining when we were in Bled, so we couldn't have the best experience for that part of the tour. However, Srdjan, our guide, was great troughout the tour. He was very informative, polite, and even came up with alternative itinerary when we could not stick to the one planned for Bled due to the rain.

Damien/Johnny was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable, kind, and made sure everyone on the tour got individualized attention. It was a long, wonderful, and memorable day!

It was memorable experience of underground world. I have never seen so huge caves before. They looked like fantastic dwarf city:) The cave castle also is unique. Our guide Luka was fun and knowledgeable.

Incredible tour with Domen! This deal was an amazing way to be able to efficiently visit the Predjama Castle, Postojna Caves, Lake Bled, and go on the boat ride to the island in one day. Domen was very knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure to accommodate everyone’s sightseeing experience wishes at those destinations. It was also very convenient to have entry admissions included in this package since we were able to immediately enjoy the places (which included audio tours at Predjama Castle) and get the most of our time spent there.
