This was a great guided walk by Carmen. We really enjoyed it and she was very knowledgeable about her City.

Great tour for the price. We loved Allen our Guide. Saw a great variety of places in the old town part.
Great guide and very well informed. Allowed time for all sorts of questions. Learned a lot! Got to hear about the key points and influences on the city
Explanations of the history of the city were very knowledgeable and comprehensive. Our guide took us at an appropriate pace.
The walk through the city center and along the river area. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave us several interesting facts regarding Ljubljana ‘s history.
Ljubljana is a quaint city and the important sights are all within a short walk. So a walking tour is the ideal way to get to know the city. In a walking tour, having a good guide is critical and our guide Alan did not disappoint. The only dampener was literally the weather, as the rain came soon after the walk began. But Alan did a good job of moving from spot to spot when there were short breaks in between the showers.
Great short walking tour of the city. They pack quite a lot of history in a short time. Guide Alan was great. Value for money is about right. Castle and funicular is a bonus add on.
We were about 20. No radio system with headphones. Could not hear and members asking more than 3 times to speak up did not help. This 2h tour did not have a plot to make the tour a story. It was an endless count of details without a connection between.
We booked this spontaneously 45 minutes before the start and had no problems. You could also buy the trip directly at the tourist Info, where you have to meet. We had a funny and lovely guide which name started with an M, but for the life of me i can't remember. She was knowledgeable, interacted with all the tour "members" - we were around 13 people -, and made us feel special (which is nice since the tour itself is not tailored and rather "standard-y", but that is totally fine for the price!!). We are very happy we did the tour and didn't just roam around aimlessly. For us, this being the first time in Ljubljana, it was a nice small walk with interesting information varying from architecture, history, general slovenian life to fun facts. Easy to digest info with an enthusiastic guide! Just be aware that even though it says you can bring dogs, they are not allowed on the funicular and in some buildings, so you'd have to miss out on those. If there was a "second part" with more in depth info or a bigger walking radius, we would book it for sure the next time!
Our tour guide was fantastic! Learning the history of Ljubjana and about the architecture was very interesting. The Castle had lots to explore. I would recommend it as a way to get a good sense/see Ljubjana old town.
Good little walking tour and very informative guide. It wasn’t a long tour so you didn’t get board but a starter to get your bearings and a visit to the castle with funicular was fun.
It was very informative and in depth of history. I highly recommend for anyone visiting the city to learn the background
This was an absolutely horrible experience. We ended up caught in traffic due to a large run that was going on in the city, so we knew we would be a few minutes late and started calling and trying to reach the organizers, but no one answered the line despite multiple attempts. When we reached the office and met the team, they shrugged it off and said they didn't know why the phone went unanswered. They informed us that the tour didn't exist for the day and that the only person who was available for a tour could only provide a short, truncated tour, as she had a "much larger" group coming soon. When we incredulously asked what we should do, they told us to reach out to Trip Advisor and request a refund before they were no longer available for the afternoon. It definitely seemed like they didn't care about us since our tour ended up only being two people - and obviously, they had this "much larger" group in mind. It was very disheartening and frustrating. Buyer beware!
Our guide Urban was very good providing us with interesting perspectives on the city. The only thing to improve it would be a bit more on the history of the city and the country where applicable
This is literally the worst tour I have ever had in my entire life (and I had a few!). The guide didn't provide any information about the history of Slovenia and Ljubljana. No facts at all. She was only talking about the Christmas market and how great it will look once finished. Imagine walking down the old city streets, and the guide was like: "Look at this installation! What do you think it is?" Then: "Look at these Christmas lights? What do you think this is about?". And it was like that for 1.5 hours. Won't recommend the tour to anyone.
The tour was very informative and the tour guide made very sympathetic even because of sudden rain half an hour longer. Highly recommended!!!
Our sympathetic guide Miro has guided us through this highly interesting city with excellent historical knowledge and fine humor. It was a pleasure. We can only recommend Miro.
The city tour was really entertaining and varied thanks to our great guide. He brought the history of the city to us with a lot of wit and motivation, s.d. it was certainly not boring. For a visit to Ljubljana definitely recommended.
