We had the best time! Amazing food and wine choices and perfect guide!

This was one of the best food tours I’ve ever been on. We learned so much about Ljubljana and Slovenian food + wine. Our guide, Simone, was absolutely amazing. She answered all of our questions and took such good care of us. This truly felt like an authentic experience which is what I’m seeking for in a food tour.

Perfect way to explore the city, mix of history and interesting stories while seeing the city and experiencing local food and wine. Tina (Martin) was an excellent guide, very entertaining and engaging. Highly recommend!

Simona was AMAZING guide. Fun, informative, a joy. The 3 hours flew by!!! Highly recommended (oh and don't plan a nice dinner that evening, you'll probably still be full from the tastings!!!!

We have been on a few food tours and found this tour one of the best. Simone was an excellent guide, full of facts and humour. She was great at chatting to all participants, making them feel included. The Slovenian food was delicious and the wines were wonderful. Would 100% recommend the tour with Simone.

My husband and I took this tour with our infant daughter. Our guide was very accomodating to a baby. We loved all of the restaurants visited and enjoyed the cultural and historical discussion sprinkled into the delicious foods. Our favorite stops were a honey tasting and the open air market samplings. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were fortunate enough to have a solo tour with the brilliant guide Simona. She had great knowledge of the culture of Slovenia as well as giving us great guidance on the wine &food. All places visited were welcoming with wonderful dishes & wine. Would highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic experience with Simona and 8 other guests on the Ljubljana food tour. Since I am a solo traveler I was able to book the morning of the tour, which was super convenient for me. Simona deserves ALL of the 5 star reviews she receives -- she is a lovely person, very knowledgeable about her home country/city and runs a great food tour. Worth every penny!

Great tour! Our guide, Simone was amazing! She was welcoming, fun and knowledgeable. Her English was excellent. The pace was good, we learnt a lot about the city, Slovenia and the food and drink traditions. The wines were delicious. Food was great. If I was being picky I’d have loved to try some of the nuts in the market too!

Simona was a wonderfully knowledgeable guide with a sweet personality. We enjoyed her tour so much! We learned a great deal about the history and culture and of course, the food! This was a great experience! A must-do in Ljubljana!!

A great way to explore some of Old Town, we saw a lot more than I was expecting, and some interesting history about the town and country too. Couldn’t recommend this more highly!

Simona was a wonderful guide - super knowledgeable and friendly. I learned a lot about Slovenian food and history. We had 4 local dishes, 4 Slovenian wines, 2 small tastings and 1 dessert; we were super full by the end. This is a great activity to do, especially on your first day in Ljubljana as we walked away with more knowledge of the city and some good recommendations for the rest of our trip.

This was a fantastic tour! Simona was so knowledgeable & great to spend time with. She really engaged us and connected on a personal level. We learned so much that we wouldn’t have been able to on our own. And the food & wine were absolutely delicious!! Wow!! It kept getting better & better. What a lovely and delicious afternoon with Simona! It was a chilly day and we had all the warm comfort foods we could have wanted, paired with delicious local wines. We learned a lot, ate a lot, and enjoyed ourselves immensely!

There were three couples on the tour which was a nice number. Moya has a lovely manner and quiet sense of humour. She was very informative. The choice of the four venues gave us a good overall taste of local Slovenian cuisine. Definitely recommend.

Our guide Simone ( not sure I have spelt the name correctly ) quickly got the group introduced and talking to each other , so put everyone at ease . The food and wine information was excellent , delivered with passion and interest , and also very knowledgeable about history and all things Slovenian , and happy to answer any and all questions to the best of her ability - a fun tour all round !

I'm always a bit skeptical to see so many 5 star ratings but this tour did not disappoint!! I can't add much more to what others have said...i concur with comments regarding Simona's fun, personable and knowledgeable guidance during the tour and of course the delicious, plentiful representation of traditional food of Slovenia. Very enjoyable 3 hours.

Tour group was diverse and she was skilled at responding to our interests and questions. Great food and orientation to the local scene that helped us after the tour.

The food and wine were delicious and our tour guide Simona was delightful. Local dishes, meats, cheeses, and specialty local products for featured.

Our guide was lovely and helpful. However if you don’t eat red meat, this is not the tour for you as the veg substitutions are not delicious.

Simona was excellent tour guide. Great knowledge about f Ljubljana, restaurants, food and local wine. Nicely paced 3 hours visit 6 places for small plates of excellent local cuisine. More food was served than I expected, glad we did not eat lunch before this tour.

Absolutely recommend this tour! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke perfect English. The food and wine selection was excellent, giving us a real taste of Slovenian cuisine and its neighboring influences. I tried things I wouldn’t normally order, and everything was delicious. I even went back to one of the places recommended for breakfast the next day! Beyond the food, you also learn about the history and culture of this beautiful country.

Such an incredible tour. Hard to pick just one favorite but ending on these perfect mini potica that we enjoyed for breakfast the next morning was fantastic. Such great little gems woven throughout the city. I would go back to each of them! Truly appreciated all of the additional culture and history on top of the great food. Would absolutely recommend.
