I highly recommend this tour!! It was absolutely amazing. The tour was the perfect length of time. We got to try so many dishes that represent Slovenia. And the wine was perfectly paired with each dish. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave us tons of recommendations for when the tour was over.

What a fabulous introduction to Slovenian food, culture and Ljublijana! Our guide Matic was knowledgeable, funny, energetic and just so much fun. We met at 5pm and he already had a street food treat in his hands that he shared with us while he told us about our upcoming tour. We ate and drank so many great things that I can’t remember them all! For me, best of all, the tour was small, only two couples. That meant we went at our own pace, didn’t have to wait for stragglers and were treated at the restaurants we visited as just a normal group of visitors. Matic took care of all the details, leaving us free to focus on the food, wine and city. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat, it was worth every penny.
Everything was excellent! Our tour guide was Gašper. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining, and took us to all the best places for food and drinks. Would recommend!

Our tour ended up being a private tour. Sigismundi took great care of us. We sampled lots of food, wine and beer. He was a wonderful conversationalist and made the tour fun and informative. 100% recommend!

Absolutely loved this tour with our guide Žiga! The food was delicious and we had so much fun exploring the city! We loved hearing more about the history of the city and insight into where the food culture stems from. We would definitely recommend to any hungry travelers!
We had a food tour with Matic and he was fantastic! It poured down rain and he was very quick to pivot to other equally delicious places to keep us from getting drenched. He’s very knowledgeable and engaging. We loved this tour!
We had a great time on the food tour. I specifically want to mention our host, Matic, was awesome. We ended up showing up a bit late, but Matic and company worked hard to get us up to speed. We also received plenty of recommendations about places off the tour to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. We ran into some heavy rainfall and in real time Matic readjusted our stops to make sure we had a “drier” experience with plenty of excellent Slovenian food. Of course all of the food and drink was excellent. I highly recommend the tour and cannot think of more accommodating or hospitable hosts. 10/10!
We had a great time on our tour, sampling street food, pizza, Slovenian sausage, wines, and other dishes. Our stomachs ran out of room but we managed to create space for the dessert. Janez was an amazing guide. Very personable and knowledgeable about Ljubljana as well as Slovenian history. All in all it was one of the highlights of our visit.
Food tour with Janus was excellent. He allowed us to try many different foods typical to Ljubljana. He was very knowledgeable with a warm personality and took interest in everyone in our party.
Janez was a super guide and made the tour very enjoyable with his extensive knowledge of the Ljubljana food and wine scene. We started the tour with some local street food (Burek) and continued the tour with a visit to a wine bar where we enjoyed an interesting orange wine, nicely paired with local charcuterie. Other stops included one of the top pizza places in the city, a taste of raw oysters paired with petnat, sampling local sausage and finishing off with a lovely local pastry. It was an interesting selection of foods and Slovenian wines, punctuated with Janez’ commentary on Slovenian history and culture . It felt like we were out for an evening with an old friend. I would highly recommend this tour!
Janez was a lovely guide - engaging, informative and interested in our preferences. We started with street food, then a wine tasting, moved on to regional kielbasa, pizza from a highly rated establishment, fresh oysters and dessert! Among our best GetYourGuide experiences!

The combination of wine and food on the tour was almost perfect. We were able to sample very simple yet exquisite dishes and wines, and this combination made the tour truly special. I thought this would be a terrible review, but no! I waited in the deep cold for quite a while for a guide that never showed up. However, mistakes happen—it’s all what you do to fix them. The company sent me an itinerary of several places to try along with what to eat, and comped some of them. It was not as good as going with a guide, but I had some exceptionally delicious food and drink and feel like I got the gist of the experience. So in the end I’m very happy with what the company did to fix the error and highly recommend working with them. One day I hope to repeat the experience with a guide!
We had an excellent time in our small group tour lead by Matic! He showed us around the city and was very knowledgeable both on the food and wine but also the city history, local culture, and was very friendly and easy to talk to. He gave us great suggestions for other must try restaurants and things to explore during our stay. We loved the orange wine! We would highly recommend visiting Ljubljana and taking this tour!
We had an amazing time! Mikha was a very knowledgeable guide. We had some lovely tastes of Slovenian food, together with delicious Slovenian wines. Napolitan style pizza was devoured before we remembered to take a photo. Would do this tour again. Highly recommend!

Our Very friendly host Janez gave us a personable and enjoyable experience in the picturesque city of Ljubljana. We indulged in some great varietals of wine and local produce that gave us a wonderful introduction to the cuisine in the area. The host was fantastic at giving us some historical points of interest and the culture that also makes Slovenia so charming. Highly recommended as an introduction to this stunning country.
I had a good time during this walking&tasting tour. The whole vibe was like you meet old friends in a lovely city with cozy atmosphere. The combination of food and drinks is nice and well-balanced. Matic, our guide, is a friendly knowledgeable person. If you like to spend a nice evening in Ljubljana, this is a good option.
