Had a great experience here! Cleaners rooms and super comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and the front desk staff were friendly and so helpful! Andela was so helpful and friendly. She helped us find the train station and bus stops and made sure our stay was smooth! This hotel is RIGHT next to the main food and walking area. 10/10 would come back.

Great location—only about a five-minute walk to the river and the center of town. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious, renovated, and very modern. I saw some people complain about the parking, but honestly, I found it pretty straightforward. It’s €35 per day. After booking, the hotel sends you an email, and you just need to respond to reserve a parking spot. Once confirmed, they send you a QR code that gives you access to the garage. Very easy and hassle-free. It was also my birthday during the stay, and the staff was kind enough to send a cake to my room and offer me a discount at the bar. That was a really nice touch and made the stay even more special. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location right off Congress Square. In between Old Town and Tivoli Gardens. Also convenient bus stop right outside hotel doors. Booked a standard room with king size bed. Surprisingly room had a ton of natural light from floor to ceiling windows that open for fresh air circulation. Had a minor communication issue with front desk/housekeeping but fortunately manager, Mr Bhatat resolved the issue immediately. He handled it professionally and efficiently. I also want to highlight Ms, Komal for her very warm and pleasant greeting upon check-in. Her energy and hospitality relations make her invaluable at the Occidental Ljubljana hotel. Again, Ms. Komal was utterly professional and always with a smile!

We stayed at the Occidental Hotel Ljubljana from Thursday, 9 July, until Sunday, 12 July, and had a wonderful experience overall. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. At reception, Komal checked us in, and she was absolutely fantastic—friendly, professional, and very helpful. In fact, the entire front office team was excellent throughout our stay. Our room on the third floor was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable. The beds and pillows were excellent, and we particularly liked the separate toilet and shower. Everything in the room was well presented, and we had a very relaxing stay. Breakfast was delicious, with a good selection of food. The only observation we would make is that although the hot breakfast items were nicely hot when breakfast opened at 7:00 a.m., by around 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. they were no longer as hot as they should have been. It would be great if this could be improved. We also noticed a couple of minor housekeeping issues during our stay. On the second day, the bathroom sink began to drain quite slowly, causing water to collect in the basin. On the third day, we noticed some hair on the bathroom floor, which suggested that the floor had not been cleaned as thoroughly as usual. These were only small observations and did not take away from our overall enjoyment. Overall, we had a fabulous stay. The staff were warm and attentive, the room was comfortable, and the service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would happily recommend the Occidental Hotel Ljubljana to others. We would definitely stay here again.
