Dated, dark, and dank. This hotel has seen better days. Other reviews mentioning construction noise are spot on, and I can confirm the construction starts at 7a on Saturdays, too. Way overpriced for the barely mediocre rooms and service they provide. The only nice thing I can say is that the included breakfast was good, even if the machine made coffee was lukewarm at best. Switching to another hotel after just one night at the Best Western. There is no way this could be considered a 4-star experience.
Some areas of the hotel could use some updates but overall good experience. Excellent location. Excellent breakfast buffet. Good service. In house massage therapist was very nice. Nice view of historic post office. Street was noisy but the windows provided excellent sound proofing.
Best Western Premier Hotel Slon is centrally located in the heart of Ljubljana, making it very convenient for exploring the city on foot. The check-in process was easy and seamless, and one of the things we really appreciated was their paid valet parking service. This is especially convenient since the hotel is located in a car-free zone, making it much easier for guests arriving by car.
Every staff member we interacted with during our stay was awesome! They were all friendly, helpful, and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable!

I had an extremely pleasant stay at the Best Western Hotel Slon.
They have very high standards I thought it felt like a 5 star hotel at times.
The staff were very friendly, the rooms while dated were very clean with high quality amenities provided.
It was nice to have Loocitane products in the bathroom, I thought that was a really nice touch.
The breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations.
I will only stay at Best Western Slon on future trips to Ljubljana.

Very good location in City Centre and everywhere is walkable from it. Excellent choice for breakfast. Staff tea were very helpful and resolved issues immediately. We avoided City Views rooms and had one at rear which whilst didn't have a view it was extremely quiet and comfortable Decor slightly dated, but don't let that stop you from visiting.
