Amazing experience we get to enjoy Florence and Pisa at our leisure. Our driver francisco was very pleasant. Gave us good tips and resto recommendations.

Francesco was amazing! Helped us to set up our day at reservation time and then helped us to adjust as needed during the actual day. Showed us beautiful sites and provided us with directions for meet up along with stops we wanted to see. Also, gave us the opportunity to see Pisa which was not on our original agenda due to time. Franseco was exceptional! Having a private driver made the tour. You definitely have to see the leaning tower in person but after you see head on to Florence. We loved Florence ! Worth the trip for sure and lunch was delish!!!

We booked the tour because we wanted someone to get us close to the key sites in Pisa and Florence. Francesco did not disappoint. He first dropped us off at the entrance to the Tower of Pisa complex. Buses were dropping people 20 minutes away. We toured the grounds and we made it to the top of the tower. We quickly shifted to Florence. We stopped to take pictures overlooking downtown. Phenomenal view. He then took us into the city center. Note - cars can only stay in it for 20 minutes. He showed us the pick up point and dropped us off for lampredottos. From there we had affogatos, saw the Original David, the Duomo, open air flea market, wine window and ponte vecchio. Great day and Francesco’s driving allowed us to see everything we wanted to see in both locations. I highly recommend this tour and Francesco!!!

What a great tour! Andre was an excellent driver; very accommodating and helpful. He drove us to Pisa where we parked very close to the Leaning Tower. He then headed to Florence where he took us to a store we had heard about. His lunch recommendation was excellent. Highly recommend this tour and Andre in particular.

Francesco was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He picked us up from our cruise ship right on time and took us to Pisa, where we were able to explore and see the sights before the crowds arrived. From Pisa, he drove us to Florence, stopping along the way at a fantastic panoramic viewpoint where we had a wonderful view over the city. Once in Florence, Francesco drove us around, pointing out the key sights and sharing his extensive knowledge of the city, which was really helpful in planning what we wanted to see. He then dropped us off right in the centre, giving us around five hours to explore Florence at our own pace. At the agreed time, he was there waiting for us and drove us comfortably back to the cruise ship. Francesco was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, friendly and punctual throughout the day. The car was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with Wi-Fi and bottled water provided, which were lovely touches. We would highly recommend Francesco to anyone looking for a reliable and knowledgeable private driver for a day trip from a cruise ship. He made the whole experience easy, enjoyable and completely stress-free. We wouldn’t hesitate to use him again!

Francesco was a great. The car was big, had WiFi, AC and water. He was super flexible with our time and stayed with us later than we originally booked him. Would probably hire him again on my next visit to Tuscany.

Great way to take in Tuscany and Florence. Our driver Francesco was punctual and picked us ip directly from the cruise port. A stop at Pisa first followed by a Winfrey for some wine tasting. We completed the journey we with a few hrs to free roam in Florence. What made this nice was we had a big van with AC and WiFi. Plus we enjoyed learning from Francesco as well! Deff recommend this tour to folks looking to break away from the cruise excursions

The communication with Francesco was outstanding he arranged the tour and vehicle was waiting on time, actually early. Our driver Valerio was very professional, friendly and had a great personality. He knew the shortcuts to park very close in Pisa and Florence. He described all the historical sites and took extra time. I would highly recommend this tour!

Francisco was a great driver. He arrived on time to pick us up at the port, and drove us to wherever we wanted to go, narrating along the way. Car was very comfortable and included water for us. He waited for us at all of our stops and was available for assistance when we needed him. He was very knowledgable and friendly and we would strongly recommend him to anyone who wants to experience Tuscany with a local.

Our tour guide was waiting for us right when we got off the ship. Our guide had a sign with our name on it so he was easy to find. If you can choose, Francesco was the best. Would highly recommend

Francesco was a great driver and full of knowledge. He was very responsive and respectful of our questions getting on and off the ship and giving us expectations for each leg of our journey (I.e., time to next destination, bathroom availability, where to shop). Francesco was wonderful! He had great communication before our pick up. Meeting him was easy and very convenient. We booked him for a full day to take our family from the cruise port of Livorno to Florence for the day. He was full of fascinating information about the region, made wonderful recommendations for lunch and shopping. It was cold and rainy but he was able to drop us off close to the things we wanted to see. He was flexible when we requested a change in our pick up location. His van was very clean and six adults fit very comfortably. I would whole heartedly recommend him for anyone needing a driver from the port of Livorno.

Francesco is reliable, smart, safe and kind. His Mercedes van is comfortable and well cared for. He communicates well and has all sorts of interesting tidbits about every place we passed by. He picked us up right by our ship’s berth in Livorno. Touring Pisa & re-visiting Florence (off season) was a relaxing pleasure. His lunch suggestion in Florence was perfecto!

Having a private tour from our ship The Scarlet Lady was seamless. We quickly saw the leaning tower of Pisa and zipped over to Florence. However, after my husband discussed the love of Chianti with Francesco we made a quick detour to a wine tasting at a local vineyard. Francesco’s love of country and patience was so greatly appreciated. Five stars all the way!

Prompt response & attention from our driver & tour operator, Francesco. He was prompt to pick us up from the port & caring for my elderly mom when she need to get on & off the van. Francesco was very good in reminding us how long should we spend on each location. He explained each tourist attraction while he was driving. He has a permit to be able to park very close to the main attractions area and where the ship docked. He parked right next to the gangway which we used to get back on the ship. He has remi ed us s few times to be careful and protect our belongings from the pick pockets. He even showed me how one of them looked like which I would never have thought them being one of those criminals.

I booked the excursion with the expectation of a guided walking tour in Florence. We were left on our own. without the tour, we felt the excursion was over priced for a driver only. He was very nice.

The trip to Pisa and Florence was beautiful. The driver Francisco was extremely professional, informative and was very accessible when we wanted to go from one location to another. Francesco was fantastic. Punctual, friendly, courteous and very informative. He took us to Pisa first dropping us very close to the tower. Then in Florence took the time to drive us around explaining where the main attractions were before dropping us for us to enjoy Florence at our own pace. We use trip advisor often in our travels. We have also booked private tours in other countries. Our recent private tour from Liverno Italy has by far been our best. Our tour guide, Franscesco, corresponded multiple times before our arrival to make sure our trip details were doable. He met us when our cruise ship docked and drove us to Florence and Pisa, citing interesting cultural and historical facts and places along the way. We arrived at our booked destinations with time to spare. There was time to shop at markets and eat a leisurely lunch. We absolutely recommend him if this is something you are looking into. We plan on returning to Pisa in a couple of years for further exploration and will definitely see if he is still available.

What a fantastic, comfortable and timely tour! Our guide Francesco was great, very communicative before and during the trip. He gave us insight into both Pisa and Florence. We loved this trip because it was the opposite of many alternates to cruise tours from Livorno, starting in Pisa instead of Florence. We were so grateful to have the quiet morning in Pisa, and take our time to enjoy the architecture there. Francesco had water and air conditioning available in the van, the seats were very comfortable and there was plenty of room in the back of the van for our travel wheelchair. He gave us a brief tour of Florence city by car before dropping us of near a market, and also gave us great advice on shopping, sites to visit and a place for lunch. We were so impressed with this tour!

Francesco is an experienced, courteous professional. He dropped up close to the leaning tower in Pisa, then got us quickly to Florence so we could maximize our time in the city. He suggested a brief stop at Piazzale Michelangelo on the way for a great view overlooking the city. He then gave us a quick tour of the general lay out of the main sites and was right on time to take us back to the ship. The van was top notch transportation with wifi on board. We had a great day. Had Francesco as a driver and he really made the day a breeze for us. He was so nice, professional and was just such a great guy to talk to and about the city as he drove us around. He gave great advise and recommendations while also being very flexible with what we’d already had planned.

Francesco was a great driver and tour guide. He was on time and waiting for us at the arranged meeting point. He went over and above to make out trip a memorable one! The vehicle was clean and comfortable.

This will be a long story but please read. I originally booked this excursion without knowing we would be docking at La Spezia port instead of Livorno. I contacted the driver Francesco the day before to notify him that I screwed up on the ports and could he pick us up from the other port. He agreed to do so for a small fee since it was 1.5hrs away from the other port, I agreed to pay it when he arrived. Well there was a huge wreck on the highway that caused major delays, he notified me that he was running a little behind for our pickup. Once he arrived he discussed our options for going to Florence and Pisa and told us it would take twice as long to get there due to the traffic being redirected. We insisted that we still wanted to go and had the time to do so. On our way out of town my dad started having heart attack symptoms and we were forced to turn around and get him help. He stayed so calm and knew what to do! He got us to a police station where they were able to call us an ambulance for him. I rode with my Dad in the ambulance and he drove my family to the hospital. After arriving at the hospital with my dad I noticed that he and my family were already there waiting for us. We were at the hospital for 7hrs. (by the way, it's really like a 3rd world country-socialized medicine sucks!) This man stayed in the parking lot of the hospital for the entire 7hrs and checked on us regularly and even drove my daughter and friend to get food at one point. When my dad was released he was there waiting and brought the car to him so he wouldn't have to walk. He even called the cruise ship port and got permission to enter the port to take us directly to the ship. He said in 10yrs of doing these excursions he has never been allowed to enter the port. I give him 5stars but would give him 50 if I could!!! He was such a blessing!!! I tried to pay him the money I owed him for coming to the other port and he wouldn't take it! If you are wanting to book a cruise excursion from Livorno or La Spezia, Italy please use Francesco......HE IS AMAZING!!!!
