This was a half day shore excursion from downtown Laverno to Pisa. The bus trip was very convenient and the tour guide - Omi - and bus driver Giancarlo - were great . Omi's trip explanations to Pisa and back were easy to understand and she was very pleasant to listen to. She also took extra care to make sure we made it to the meeting spots in time. Very nice shore excursion to Pisa.

We are a family of 4 adults and wanted an independent tour to Pisa from our ship in Livorno. This worked out fine for us and our guide Marta was great. The only negative was the amount of time spent waiting for those preferring the tourist train in Pisa.

Wonderful- if you want to see the leaning tower of Pisa and learn all about the city Beatrice is the best guide! She was a great communicator, very knowledgeable and took care of everyone!

The attractions and restaurants were great. Our tour guides were very informative and told us what to expect throughout the excursion. Shore Emotions was the tour company and it showed that they hire professionals to guide you through the experience. Well worth the money and great price point for the offerings.

The ladies did a great job giving much information along the way. It was plenty of time to grab a drink and lunch near the leaning Tower. A+. Definitely worth the while, and the walk was fairly short.

Just as described arrived at meeting point to find our tour guide waiting. Comfortable transfer. It is. quite a long walk from the bus car park to the square, we were pleased that we opted to pay 5 euros each return transfer on the Road train . Payables on the bus.

A must to see, tour guide was wonderful. Go into the Colosseum it’s beautiful. Good price on outdoor vendors, they will bargain with you

Fantastic half day, got to go up the tower. Have lunch and see around the Pisa square. Fantastic day. Pick up/drop off really easy. Was worried over nothing. Got on shuttle bus to meeting point. Which was only stop. Very good day. Recommend it. Communication throughout whole process and on day was spot on and very quick to reply.

Good, easy transportation. Tour should be an hour longer to allow more of the sites to be seen. Too rushed for time.

Very good tour. We took steps up the leaning tower and enjoyed that as well. The only thing we’d recommend would be to add another hour to be able to see/explore more. Guide (Marta) was very good and easy to find after being on our own.

Taking this excursion from the Livorno port made visiting Pisa completely stress-free! Our guide, Tommaso, was waiting at the meeting point ready to greet us even though we arrived early, and he guided us seamlessly through Porta Santa Maria into Piazza dei Miracoli so no one got lost. We had plenty of free time to climb the Leaning Tower, snap photos, and enjoy a relaxed lunch. To top it off, our driver, Simone-Federica, made the return trip effortless by getting us back to the ship with plenty of time to spare. Highly recommended!

We did Florence and Pisa. We were travelling on NCL Viva and was easy to reach meeting point on the port shuttle. Had a great time in Florence and Pisa. Our guides Omi and Luca were awesome, very helpful. Driver Luca was great too and they were able to get us a direct drop off back at Viva, no waiting for port shuttle Highly recommend

The staff running the trip are great coach air conditioned and Pisa is spectacular . Please though watch your belongings in Pisa pickpockets are everywhere. Sorry to say I had my purse taken.

Convenient location to get a transfer to Pisa. Having the tower tickets included in the price of the tour made the process seamless. It was appreciated that riding the tourist train was given as an option to avoid the additional walking from the parking lot. It would have been nice to have a map of the complex so we could maximize our free time.

As said in other reviews this is just a bus ride to Pisa. Everyone has to park offsite and walk over and back. Staff was fine. Seemed too long there for our group. Very hot and the one place in Europe we felt was most aggressive with vendors and pick pockets. It checks the box but nothing great:

Beatrice was an amazing tour guide! So informative and made sure everyone didn’t miss a thing. She waited for my husband to climb the Leaning tower. The ride with history was so informative and seeing this famous historical sights was amazing

Super trip, great length of time. Just enough to see the sites do some shopping and grab a snack. Transport both ways on time and comfortable. Virginia did a superb job with all the information we needed.

Really enjoyed the trip. Instructions for what to do after we got off the ship were very helpful. We didn’t bring Euros with us and one of the tour guides gave us Euros for our US Dollars so that we could catch the trolley to the actual Pisa tower area. Church tour was very nice as well. You will have to pay $1 to use the bathroom while there, but it takes credit cards. Definitely walk up the tower if you do the trip.The view is great up there and it is not as bad as it sounds.

All worked out well. Martha, our guide explained everything nicely. The day was warm but she walked with us in shaded area from parking lot to the square.

A guided tour is better with the guide walking around with us. Would have been nice if we were given the information as we walked around Pisa instead of on the bus. A bit confusing with where to meet up. Need clearer instructions especially since we were such a big group.

Easy booking and check in. Form the cruise port it’s only a 10-ish minute shuttle ride to the meet up spot. The tour guide gave a brief history of the area.

Shore Excusions were terrific. Marta was very helpful and knowledgeable and patient with us as we ran a little behind schedule. She was fantastic!

The group can be rather large but you have plenty of time to explore Pisa alone or with your party. It was extremely helpful to receive a short historical briefing en route to Pisa. Essentially this tour consists of guided transportation from Livorno to the piazza where the leaning tower is located.

Easy to find the meeting place. Great communication leading up to the day. Excellent transport and guide who ensured we really enjoyed our self guided tour! 4 of us went up into the leaning tower and it was fantastic! Comfortable ride. Highly recommend

5 out of 5. The girls were lovely and patient with such a big group, giving clear instructions to a lot of overheated tourists :) Everything went smoothly and we would definitely book with the company again. Great value for money for those not wanting to pay the cruise ship fares.

Excellent trip. Marta was great, just the right amount of information interspersed with humour From the start the whole process was well organised. Marta was extra thoughtful providing additional transport options for some members of the group due to the heat. Times and tickets were well planned. Climbing up the tower was well worth it and there were great views. Simon, the driver, was excellent. I would highly recommended this trip.

That everyone gets off the 1st shuttle bus at the very 1st stop, not the last as stayed in the advertisement!!

Marta was our tour guide and Simon was our bus driver. Both excellent! With the excessive heat in Pisa Marta made sure we could take the small train to the entrance (a 10 minute walk) in all sun. Very appreciative of his as we had some that would have had a difficult time walking.

We had our Pisa 1/2 day tour changed by the operator due to numbers to Florence and Pisa no costs lovely guide and a good driver with a fairly small group of about 18 people nice day thank you Arianana and roberto

Pisa is a beautiful place to visit. We came during extreme heat and both the girls did a great job of making sure everyone felt ok. Would highly recommend the half day tour to visit.
